And came to…read moremy home on 17 June and promised that if I signed a contract with him immediately he would be able to start working in August that was a guarantee that he gave me and it was for that reason that I had chosen to sign his contract he had told me immediately if I signed the contract I would have to pay a $15,000 deposit immediately upon signing his contract to do kitchen cabinets and redo the counter and close a wall in the beginning of August. I contacted him the beginning of August to ask Jason when he was coming to start with my cabinets so that I could clear them all out (he told me I had to have that done)before he came.He told me that he only had two of the cabinets that were sent to him and therefore he will not be able to start in August I asked him when he could start and he said he couldn't give me a date because he did not know when the other cabinets would be arriving and I said to him that you had promised that you will be able to start in August he said well that's not going to happen. I then told JASON "I think that I'm going to sell my property because I cannot get my work done and this house has been a money Pitt" and he said to me that that would be a good thing to do and he then said I have got a realtor that I will ask to phone you . I asked Jason for her number and he said no she will call you and help you sell your place. He then said and I quote "I want you to know if you've decided to sell I will give you all your $15,000 back because we haven't done anything yet and If you just give me about two weeks and I will come and drop off your check.I contacted him after two weeks like he asked and from that time onwards he never turned up for any appointments it was first Friday he'll be there then he would come on Wednesday and then he'll come on Monday and so the weeks went by and he never turned up for any of his appointments to come and pay me my money back .On the 28th of September I sent him a text message to tell him that he had promised to send me or bring me my check and he's never done anything to date. This man did not give me the contract that I signed three signatures on. So upon advisement I am going to take this matter further he then said immediately within a few minutes I received a text message back from him to say can he phone me he phoned me and said he would come and see me the following day he came the following day is the first time I've seen him since he came to see me originally to take measurements of the work he was going to do he came into my into my home and he said I have got two options for you the first option I have got your cabinets and you will have to pay for them and I will give you the other money back that you have paid and I will leave your cabinets on your front Road and you can do with him what you want to and I will give you the balance back and I will charge you $450 for my work I said to him JASON what can I do with CABINETS you were supposed to install them he said you have got to decide what you're going to do I'm going to drop them off here and I'll give you the other money back or I will see you in court you signed this contract that's all that the judge is interested in is your signature on this contract and I said to him but I never received a contract from you I only received one page he said oh you've got it just look at your mail Willy never did he only sent me one page and I had signed three signatures but that never came forward he said to me I will get my lawyer to write you a letter these are your two options if you don't like it I'll see you in court and since then he has made one excuse after the other with his lawyer and so it is dragged on right up into the new year I've never received my money I haven't received anything from him I haven't received any cabinets he hasn't come back he hasn't done any work and it's all in the lawyers hands and I had to get a lawyer so more money that has been paid out this is what this bad man has done he has scammed me ,he's taken 15,000.00 of my money and he hasn't done anything yet at all . I am taking this as far as I can. I'm a disabled 78 year old woman without family in this area. My nephew is taking time off work to come here and help me with all of this. It's not fair to the elderly and these criminals stole my savings and I have nothing to show for it. Please save yourself

Scott and Justin put up some beautiful hardy board, cement board siding for me, too! I already have another small issue and have Dean coming back out this week to give me an estimate. Once the owner Dean Judkins came to our home, we were so impressed not only with his professionalism, but the fact he loves dogs. In addition to the bathroom, we mentioned that our mailbox had been vandalized and that we needed a replacement quickly. Dean dispatched his crew the very next morning to replace. We also asked for quote's to install and paint French Doors in two rooms. Dean's honesty was evident when we thought we needed a new hot water heater ($1,000 - $1,500), only to find out we simply needed new elements and thermostat - $189. The bathroom renovation was down to studs. Dean met us at store to choose vanity, toilet, lights, plumbing fixtures etc. He shopped all of our selections to other vendors, and saved us approximately $700. His renovation crew consisted of Patrick and his assistant Kenny. They arrived each morning on time and went right to work. Patrick is without question the best at what he does. Amazing tile cutter, can frame and paint doors and is an absolute perfectionist. He also suggested some complicated cuts to make room look better, which took him longer but looked amazing. He and Kenny cleaned before they left each evening. Scott the foreman for all jobs was on site to ensure there were no problems as well as being an experienced electrician. Dean was able to select an amazing and door blinds which made everything come together. We then asked Dean if he could install three ceiling fans and replace few exterior door locks. He selected beautiful fans and ordered along with the locks. within a week, Scott and his assistant Justin E. installed the fans and locks. Office Manager Pam is very friendly and efficient. He charge me $500 more because his walls was horrible so I paid to cover his mistakes on top of that when he knew the walls need to be texture to match rest of the room walls. Also $500 when a texture cost maybe $10 for the small closet. On top of that he call me early on the morning because I post in Facebook pictures and review his job that I had all the right to do it. We have had problems with our septic 1year after living in our new home. we have had to get it…read moredrained 2 times already. we just got it drained again on January 8th and a week later the tank is filled again. Now they are saying it could be our drain field. Everything I have read said drain field should last 10 to 30 years and we have not even been in our home for 4 year. Adam's said there is nothing they can do because they only give us a year warranty. They had us sign a contract that we needed a certain septic tank because of where we live, and they did not even put that septic tank in. They put a regular septic tank in.

Construction delays ,Unprofessional General Manager We have…read morebeen waiting for our home to be completed for 9 months due to multiple delays including home placed on lot improperly, 3 car driveway not able to be permitted and multiple failed framing inspections. 9 months in, and just starting drywall. I spoke to the General Manager (John Roberts) of Adams Homes about delays and he showed zero empathy and no apology for any delays with construction. With my current home sold and buyer expecting to close. I requested to move my deposit money to a home that is 100% completed. The General manager refused to sell me the home with the current price and incentives that Adams would sell to any customer that walked in off the street. When I asked for a reason , his response was He would left with a "shit sandwich" (My Adams home which is not completed yet). I am amazed that a General manager of a company would treat a 2 time customer with such indifference and have zero pride in his own companies product. I can not recommend Adams homes to anyone at this point based on my interaction with the General Manager at Spring Hill.

I am writing this review so others will not go through what I did. He did some work for a relative…read moreof mine so he was recommended. Things started off well. He removed the old vanities right away. I picked out vanities for both bathrooms and one he went with me.Then it went down hill from there. Guest bathroom he installed the vanity like 2 weeks later, master bathroom was a week or so later. He would tell me he would be coming and give me approx. time and then text me after time he was to arrive that he would not be coming or I would hear nothing. I would always be calling and leaving messages and would not get a response. This happen quite a lot. He did tile work in guest bathroom and it was a mess that I had to clean up. There was grout all over the floor and new vanity as well as toilet. He never came to clean up the grout off the tile as he said he would. This holds true for master bathroom as well. As far as the painting, well, I could have done a better job myself. There was paint dropping everywhere. He did not cover anything. The color in guest bathroom is not the color I picked out and gave him the numbers for. He did not leave me the remainder of the paint so I can never do touch-ups. I asked him repeatedly for it where makes me believe he know it was not the right color. I had to remove the paint off the bathtub area which was not in same area. Again, same holds true for master bathroom, Had paint splatters in my shower, where no paint should be. There was paint all over the trim work and I had to repaint that myself. He got paint droppings all over my hardwood floors and kitchen tile. He has now stopped answering my calls and has left me with unfinished work. Now I must find someone else to complete and trust. Do yourself a favor and move on and find someone else.
