Osaka is hidden in a city called Madison that is small and far from everything. I was here for work and my hotel happen to be 5 mins away. I ate here everyday for a week. My go to is the Rainbow roll, Philly, Cali and Village. All were perfect. I also like the black widow, which is their version of a Spider roll. Everything tasted fresh and fish slices were thick. Service was quick. I can't really complain bc every time I went, it didn't seem busy. It's a small town so of course, I didn't expect to see large gatherings or crowded dining rooms. The ambiance kind of threw me off, I do wish it had more of an Asian feel. Asian music or maybe even movies on the TVs that were at the table. Either way I fell in love with this place and would definitely return. I hope they do well and get busier!

That is something I would definitely try next time. The guys are friendly and service is quick. It's so nice to have another option for eating in the Madison area that is not processed or fast food. I get it ALL the time because it is not only consistently delicious, and perfect (did I mention I'm a PICKY pain in the arse?) I had a couple of Chinese food places on the West side which were good, and also two Thai places- but Hong Kong King blows all of them away. They're reasonable! And the owner who always greets me is adorable. I also am thrilled because I can also get my Bubble Tea fix in!!! Yay for Taro Bubble Tea! Rora had a Green Tea from here and her Tofu with Brown sauce- she's also picky. It passed the Rora test too. It is for the time being a take out only, and that's just fine for me. I do see renovations getting closer, so maybe in the future it'll be a Buffet again. I love their food though- YUM! When I first moved out here to the Geneva area, I told friends that I needed to have a good Chinese place! Since I had four that I frequented back on the west side -that was a sore spot with me moving to the east. When Hong Kong King buffet reopened post covid, I was practically beating down their door lol! I will also say on the consistency of the food here everything I've ordered is always cooked perfectly and delicious! Give this wonderful little treasure a try and don't forget to grab yourself a bubble tea too!

Extremely clean. They take much pride in cleanliness, that scored major points with me. El Turpial appears to be a mom-and-pop family-run restaurant, that has plenty of room for indoor dining, as well as a variety of to-go options. Wanting to come to support local businesses, I figured I'd give this a try. Plus the pictures of the food had my mouth watering The staff was friendly and helpful, and explained the menu to me. I had the chicken empanadas which were delicious. They had a tasty, slightly sweet taste on the outside, and on the inside the chicken was juicy, packed with flavor, and the melted cheese had an amazing savory, tangy flavor that practically melts in your mouth. I then indulged into the pastrami sandwich, which just smacked of deliciousness. Reminded me of something I could get in New York City. The bread had a great chew, firmness, and fresh baked taste. The pastrami was premium quality, and everything they put on it was perfect. And it was huge! I didn't want to eat too much, but I couldn't stop because it was so delicious! I love this place, and plan on returning next time I'm in Ashtabula to try some more Puerto Rican dishes! Wonderful!

It seems like one of those Chinese places that used to be a nice restaurant before Covid and now they just do quick service takeout... which is fine.. the seating is just for waiting on the food to be cooked. The price is a bit high for a combo meal you can get for $8-9 elsewhere.. and the sauce on the chicken and broccoli was not as expected. Usually it's a brown sauce but this one it was the moo goo gai pan sauce, the clear kind. The soup and combo both lacked a bit of flavor, I think it could be done much better. The egg roll was really good, but I also covered it in duck sauce. The service was friendly though, and it's not half bad for a quick meal.
