So, don't come here expecting to charge much faster than ~73kW most times. Lastly, as a fellow Tesla owner, it's disgusting to see other Tesla drivers treat the area around the chargers as waste. Many who can't return shopping carts, either. Forget expecting people to return Whole Foods and Home Goods carts. Some can't even be bothered to put back their Target cart to the designated space that is just 30 feet away.

You enter, ( it's one way) and pull into one of the open spaces ( there's at least 12), click your card, and charge away! These are all fast level three chargers, and they reasonably priced. The entire building is immaculately clean, and if you don't want to hang in your car while it's charging, there's an enclosed lobby, where you can sit and enjoy some quiet time, grab a snack from the vending machine, or get some last-minute things done on your phone or laptop. Once you're done, and you head out of the exit, it's a one-way street, so it makes it easy to jump back into the thick of the San Francisco streets!

The guys here were friendly and polite, but a little evasive when it came to making a deal. In short, they play the negotiation game to the fullest extent. They came back a few times saying there was no deal, so when my hubs would say ok and get up to leave all of a sudden they would say "hold on, there might be something else we can do" and the negotiations would continue. Typical car salesmen haha. We ended up purchasing the vehicle, and it is a great vehicle in great condition. They have definitely helped to diminish the bad taste left in our mouths from the other dealership. Since this dealership is about 8 hours away from us I can't say that we would travel that far to buy a vehicle in the future, but I do know for the right deal we would definitely consider it haha!

I had to swap out the battery on my wife's Toyota Camry over the weekend and had an extremely…read moredifficult time as I lacked a rachet set at home. While most cars, including my Lexus, has bolts that are easily removed with simply a wrench, Toyota decided they needed to put two different sized bolts to secure the battery in place (a 10mm for the terminal, and a 12mm for the battery frame). And to top it off, the battery frame does not have crossbars that are easily accessible. Instead, you have to finagle a socket extender in between an incredibly small, tight space that only a small child's hand would ever be able to wiggle through. Needless to say, without the proper tools, I could not do this job myself. I called AutoZone and asked if they would be able to assist me despite the fact that I purchased the battery elsewhere, and the person on the phone stated that it would not be a problem. Although this turned out to NOT be the case per their policy when I arrived, Douglas still volunteered to replace the battery for me when I discovered their tools that they lend to customers lacked a socket extender of the proper size. Although the total job took about 20mins due to the poor design employed by Toyota engineers, Douglas still generously assisted with this replacement without any complaints. I really appreciate this outstanding level of service and will definitely go out of my way to this AutoZone for all my auto parts needs!

The key here is that the people are really great, and the newsletter (Die Flusternde Bombe) is well produced and full of fun photos. But also they run a heck of a professional track day event. Plus, the club is big enough to support a good number of them; two single days at Laguna Seca, two weekend events at Infineon and a number of others at Thunderhill. All these events draw classy instructors from other areas. And the car control clinic is, I believe, being copied at the national level. So, if you have a BMW and just want a parts discount and a nice couple magazines a month, membership is worth it. They had a vehicle in the showroom, however it was locked. When we asked if we could check out the inside, he told us that that one was not available for purchase and they just needed one to sit inside the showroom. My opinion that's not very smart to have a product that you can't show. When we asked if they had any that they could show us, he said the best he could do is we'd have to schedule a test drive. I'm already in town, I don't live in Berkeley, so makes no sense for me to have to go home and drive back on a different day. Horrible customer service, and I will not be even considering this product. If you are in the market for a vinbas, I highly recommend you choose another dealer than the Berkeley one.
