Not bad for pricing mid morning about $0.47/kwh and also clean and safe. The chargers look to be serviced well as I was able to get my charge done in about 25 minutes. Good spot for charging services if you're in the area!

This Tesla charing spot is always super busy and many times has a bit of a wait…read more It's always almost packed on weekdays in the AM when I go (~8am-10am) and especially on the weekends. Oddly some weekend mornings have been ok. The reason I am giving less stars is more so the caliber of Tesla owners who come to this spot. I get not all people who charge here are locals (I am definitely not, but come here enough to visit family and see the issues with this location), but man some people just don't have any etiquette, but also in combination of how the layout is, it causes so much traffic coming into the parking lot. It is too close to the entrance so the line wraps around towards the entrance causing congestion and to help elevate this, some drive around to the other side of the chargers causing confusion on who was there first and many end up cutting the line by going around to the other side. On a positive note, you can kill time by walking around the shopping area or grab a bite to eat or boba near buy. The down fall, is the reception in some areas are bad or goes in and out so I recommend to set an alarm (this is for both AT&T and T-mobile carriers). Overall: I do like the location, just not the layout. If you just plan in sitting in your car, many charging stations have opened up near by, so I recommend going there instead to avoid the chaos. However, if you do plan on shopping or killing time, then this is a nice spot to charge, but just prepare for a possible wait or get frustrated by people cutting you in line. It is a safe area, so that is another thing you can count on and if you really want to charge here, I recommend to come early early in the morning before things are open or late at night when things are closing to guarantee less of a wait. One last thing, if you come here on a busy weekend night, be prepared to have non EV cars park in the charging stations as well!

On our way back from Glen Ivy Hot Springs, the Tesla mapping system brought us to the Chino Hills Mall. The directions (Tesla mapping) told us it was full and tried to send us to another charging location further away- although the system was faulty in directing us to the correct place in a busy mail- we finally found it next to Wood Ranch and it was NOT full. We found a spot and walked over to Old Navy and came back in 30 minutes and we were on our way home. I find no fault in this charging station, although some signage somewhere would've been nice. I can't stand the hassle of doing this every time we leave Los Angeles but that's the "Joy" of owning an Elon car...

Once you enter the garage, you would naturally go straight (I did). Do NOT. For the chargers, turn LEFT immediate after entrance, then turn RIGHT to go down the ramp to B1. At least 20 chargers were there at B1. Convenient location, lots of restaurants if you are charging 45 minutes or so, can even get a quick bite. Charging was quick, as good as any Tesla superchargers.

Keep in mind that this is also a college town area with a lot of younger broke students. I always encounter at least one Car of young kids being dumb and reckless. If you do not have to come to the station, do not do it. I should have just driven to Brea closer to home in normal people. They get two stars just because there's food around.

The layout is great, the chargers are spaced out, so I had no problem finding a spot right away. Everything worked perfectly, no waiting, no issues. While my car was charging, I walked over to a nearby grocery store, which was also clean and well organized. It made the short stop even better. Smooth, quick charge and a nice location overall. And it used to be pretty busy with Teslas waiting their turn to charge up. Now there are 2 additional Superchargers nearby. The closest is 0.2 miles away near Chipotle and Crumbl (corner of Colima and Albatross), which helped ease the congestion. I still come here to charge up, because there weren't anyone else here charging. More available stalls to select from. Lighting is non-existent here, so illumination sources are from the two light poles closer to the mall. These Tesla Chargers are the older design, so does not have the more familiar and visible (at night) design we are more accustomed to in 2024. So might be a safety concern for some. Incidentally this mall parking lot was the spot where Doc Brown was gunned down by terrorists in Back To The Future. I had no clue the very first time I was at this mall to watch a movie. Anyway, it does what I need from this Tesla Charging Station, so 2 thumbs up from me.
