As someone who's extremely particular about their vehicle, I was determined to do my due diligence. After a days of scouring reviews, I narrowed down my options to a top five list. Johnson window films are a reputable brand, and I was impressed by their brand quality after doing my research. 5. He doesn't remove door panels, which was a huge plus for me. I opted for the Johnson IR supreme window tint film, 45% around except for the front window, which was 70%. They installed the wrong film twice during the warranty process and tried to say the tint was "old," when it was actually the wrong product. Most recently, the tint was redone again this weekend, and within just a few days the driver-side window is already peeling (see photos). They kept my car all day and had me pick it up after hours when it was dark, making it difficult to properly inspect the work. What was most concerning was a racial comment made to me when I was leaving. The owner said that "Black guys have pulled a gun on him before" and implied he thought I might do the same. That was completely inappropriate and unacceptable. I recommend reading the Yelp and negative Google reviews before trusting this business with your vehicle.

Speaking with him and his wife Jennifer, they assured my husband and I we'd have ZERO issues. He showed us around, they spoke with us on my ideas for my 24 Tesla Model 3 Performance, picked a color and a flake then I paid my deposit. We setup a date for drop off and was given a timeframe for pickup. A few days prior to drop off I checked in to see if my color/flake came in and he asked for more money "to buy product". As a business owner myself that has unexpected expenses sometimes, I was hesitant, however, I agreed. Drop off day came, I explained NOT to drive my car as I have winter tires on it and my insurance won't cover it. No biggie! Gave my keycard and he gave me a timeframe of a week then off we left. He spoke to my husband a few times who informed him we'd be going out of town the following week and we'd need the car back in the timeframe given. Unfortunately, that's when ALL my car issues begun. Pickup changed multiple times without proper communication. I was asked to send more money day of pickup so he could "buy sand paper to do a slight sanding for the flow coat process". I reluctantly sent another $50 (+tax). I sent a text when I was 2hrs away from pickup asking for the pictures he promised and making sure the timeframe would be fine still. AGAIN, it changed! Then I was asked the next day to "bring my charger and have a chat". My husband called him & he informed us "it looks super bad". We told him NOT to touch it any further & we was heading to him. Saying he was "waiting on my color to come in again but, it would for sure for sure be ready in the now 3 days away". At that point I was over it. I picked up my car explaining I needed to take it to Tesla. Which wasn't a lie! I drove it to Tesla & by the grace of luck, he in fact did NOT put a permanent paint (that it was supposed to be) on my car. He did however have paint in areas that should've been draped off and I do have a rear quarter panel that IS ruined. So, as you'll see in these photos I lost my cool on him. As anyone would've probably long prior. Throughout all of this they told us about their baby being taken from CPS for "suspected child abuse", then how they BOTH relapsed on METH! Now, I'm not one to judge someone from their past. However, I am one to care about MY situations. He trashed talked the other company the entire time he had my car & did worse. He kept taking other cars without doing anything to mine. He continuously asked us to hang out with him & his wife for "drinking, bowling or anything else". We constantly told him NO as we're too busy. I explained over & over all he had to do was communicate with me. I should've taken my car back long prior to when I did, however, I was 10+hrs away by time I found out how bad things was. Even day of pickup he had a new car in working on it instead of mine. There's so much more but even TODAY he's threatening ME when HE was the one that VANDALIZED my car. Almost all these reviews are FAKE or from people that had simple jobs and before he got back on meth again. Also, threatening with a restraining order from someone ONCE asking for a refund is WILD behavior. At this point it is what it is. I make GREAT money and he'll never be on my level.
