    Peach lemonade 9.27.25
    Mr. Juan D.

Caught this stand at the farmers market in downtown Sacramento and had to give it a try. I went with the peach lemonade, and it was delicious--not too sour, not too sweet, just the perfect balance. Super refreshing and exactly what I needed walking around the market. Customer service was great--everyone at the stand was friendly, approachable, and had good energy. The atmosphere at the market is always lively, and they fit right in. My friend ordered the peach cobbler milkshake, and he was all smiles--said it was perfectly blended, not overly sweet, and just straight-up good. If you're in the downtown Sacramento area on a Saturday, definitely stop by the farmers market and check them out. Drinks, desserts, and solid service--you can't go wrong.

Stopped by at the farmers market in Sacramento - we ordered a peach drink and a peach cobbler with triple berry. The peach cobbler was delicious and I loved the berries and peaches inside! The peach drink was good but had a slight artificial flavor but very cute that they put peach rings on the straws. Service was really nice too!

Amazing small business! Super kind owners and super delicious treats!! Love the huge variety of rolls they had and everything so so beautifully presented! The mini cobbler I had was so so so so good. They also have full size ones for sale too!! The milkshake actually has scoops of the cobbler in it. That combined with fresh peach ice cream and milk sheeeeesh it was so good! My personal fav was the lemonade though! Sweet and tart with the added peach ring on top was not only super great presentation but super refreshing taste too! Definitely go check them out in all the markets they are in! Get there early to beat the lines and make sure they have the item you want.

John and his team have your hot dogs covered for your dining pleasure in western Placer County. It's mid afternoon, Saturday, June 07, 2025, and I'm enjoying the Rocklin Brewfest 2025 and I'm in the mood for a delicious hot dog. I've come to the right place, as Doggiestyle Hot Dogs was on site, and serving hot dogs for all to enjoy. This is a pop-up restaurant that servers hot dogs at events all over western Placer County. I went with a "Quarter Pound Nathan Dog," How can you beat that for a great hot dog? The dog began with a quarter pound Nathan's Hot Dog, which was grilled to perfection by hot dog chef John, on site, at the Rocklin Brewfest. The dog was simply perfect, and fitted perfectly with the large, fresh bun, which was a start for an amazing lunch. On to the condiments! The trip to the nearby condiment bar was worthwhile, as I added a cornucopia of condiments, including mustard, mayonnaise, dill pickle relish, chopped white onion, sauerkraut and especially peperoncini, which is a rare treat for hot dogs. I suppose you could call my hot dog loaded? No ketchup whatsoever, as I never desecrate a hot dog by adding ketchup. Not to mention... may I say my dog was loaded with delicious condiments? One bite into the dog I was rewarded with a refreshing "snap," thanks to the natural casing on Nathan's Hot Dog, which made the hot dog both worthwhile and simply delicious. The condiments I added simply enhanced the dog, and didn't take anything away from the amazing hot dog, and the fresh bun. Such a delicious hot dog! Chef John knows how to grill a hot dog, and the Nathan's Hot Dog he grills are as good as it gets. I tip my cowboy hat to chef John, and his delicious hot dogs! Five star dining for all of you who love a delicious hot dog.

During the off season, he caters to special events, school events, private parties, sports events, and almost any event where fine hot dogs are appreciated. Aaron, the proprietor, along with Kaylee, his assistant, set up shop, and serve delicious hot dogs for the enjoyment of hot dog lovers in the greater Roseville, CA area. The Dog Spot sets up their portable restaurant at Kaesburg Park, located at 1151 Rand Way, in Roseville, CA. The Dog Spot sets up shop at this location every Saturday during soccer season, as Kaesburg Park is one of the more popular locations in the area for weekend soccer practice and patches. The Dog Spot dishes out amazing dogs from 09:00 in the morning until 16:00 in the afternoon. When they're not set up at the park, you'll find them catering to private parties, social events, sports, competitions along with special events, all over the Roseville area. The menu features three varieties of dogs, snacks, candy, drinks and condiments. The sides selections can vary, depending upon availability. Ordering is simple, as you tell the staff which one of the three dogs you want, what condiments or toppings you want added to your dog, then you pay for your order and in a minute or so, you'll be presented with a fine hot dog. You can also order the "Meal Deal," which includes a drink and a bag of chips, and for those with a sweet tooth, candy is available to enhance your meal. My first dog of the day was the "Jumbo Dog," which headlines the menu. As for the condiments and toppings, I went with everything, except for ketchup. The dog was placed on a large, soft bun, with sesame seeds, and placed in a little paper bowl, just the right size to hold the bun and the dog. The chef applied - in this order - mustard, mayonnaise, diced dill pickle, relish, pickled diced jalapeno chili pepper, diced white onion, sauerkraut, and a sprinkle of celery salt, to give my "Jumbo Dog" a bit of a Chicago flair. My dog was fully dressed! When I bit into my "Jumbo Dog," I was rewarded with a crisp SNAP, thanks to the natural casing of the dog, along with a rush of juicy goodness. The topping-to- dog ratio was perfect, along with the meat-to-bun ratio, which made for an amazing dog, and the start to an outstanding lunch. I went for a "Spicy Sausage" for my second dog of the day. Like the "Jumbo Dog," the "Spicy Sausage" starts with a large, quarter-pound sausage with natural casing, so when you bit into it, you're rewarded with a SNAP. It's advertised as "spicy," and it does have a bit of a 'kick" to it, but it wasn't excessively spicy. The heat ratio reminded me of a jalapeno pepper, after the seeds and stems have been removed. You get a little "kick" but lots of amazing sausage flavor! The Dog Spot will satisfy your craving for a juicy hot dog during soccer season at Kaesburg Park, and when they aren't set up at the park, you'll find them dishing out fine dogs at private parties, school events, sports, competitions, along with special events. Catering services are offered, for your hot dog enjoyment! You can't go wrong with the fine service and amazing hot dogs served by friendly Aaron and his crew at The Dog Spot, at various locations, in and around Roseville, CA. Look to The Dog Spot for fine hot dogs at the next event in town!

In fact, when I pulled in, I opened the vents of my car to allow that smokey bbq smell to fill in. Rub 'n Butts offers the finest cuts of meat and the most delicious BBQ in Placer County (I think the finest compared to anywhere around!) They are becoming more and more popular that they are now open on Saturdays! They offer dine in, catering, pick up meals, or have BBQ delivered right to your doorstep (doordash.) Thusday - Saturday 11:00 am - 5:00 pm They offer smoked tri tip, brisket, beer brat sausages, chicken (halves, too), and smoked spare ribs. They can make you sandwiches with their meats and have pulled pork, too!!! There are sides such as corn bread, their famous baked beans, creamy jalapeno corn, potato salad, and macaroni salad. As I hopped out of my car, John, the owner, was pulling meats off the smoker. He saw me walking in and with a big smile, greeted me! From previous visits, I know that he is passionate about his food. He is so good at it, I have to give him a big THANK YOU so much for sharing his passion with the world! My taste buds, eyes, and stomach deeply thank you! When I walked in, I only waited a few minutes for John to meet me at the register. **For every purchase, you get entered into a weekly drawing for a free platter with 2 meats! He had my ribs ready and packed in an aluminum catering container. It kept them hot for my drive home. I got to say hello to Frank, who was also working hard. Before driving, I took a video of those hot beautiful ribs with the gorgeous char marks, with the bright cherry red color and hot juices running out from beneath them... Oooooh can you imagine how bad I wanted to take a bite right there! The first bite was heaven! The meat is so juicy and tender and I love that it doesn't just fall off the bone... it had some pull to it. It had just the right amount of bark and smoke flavor. It had a clean bite and all the meat still came clean off the bone... it was a dream. It's the exact kind of rib that you compare all ribs to. They're in the process in updating the painted and print signs with the Saturday hours. Thursday-Saturday 11:30am - 5:30pm. Anyways, upon walking in, we were greeted by John, the owner. Unfortunately being it was less than two hours before closing, he ran out of tri tip and baby back ribs. Totally understandable, you snooze you lose. It's slow smoked genuine BBQ not fast food, when they run out, they run out. So we settled on the chicken special of smoked chicken quarter with chili and corn bread muffin $12.95. The chili and muffin were house made as well. The chili was gorgeous looking and tasted just as good as it looked. It had pieces of smoked meat. The chicken was moist and tender, smoked giving it a smoky and slight crackly skin. Mmm. It was served with a container of BBQ sauce on the side. I could drink that sauce, it was that delicious. Plus great price point on the plate. Hubs got a brisket sandwich $17.95. The bread was top notch. The brisket was ohhh so perfectly, classical tender. No knife needed. Smoked sweet and meaty flavors. Beautiful grain. John gave us samples of chicken garlic sausage and blackberry cobbler. Both house-made by him. Impressive that most everything g is house made. I'm not a fan of sausages but this may convert me. It wasn't overpowering and flavors are subtly prominent. Great texture too, not thick dense nor milly soft. Being honest. I'm not a fan of blackberry desserts due to those pesky seeds. But the cobbler didn't baked the blackberry all the way down, instead it kept it more whole than syrupy so considerably less seed release but still with the sweet blackberry flavor. The top crust was a moist cake. It all held well and absolutely yummers. The place has a few counter top tables to dine in. But Hubs and I ordered ours to go. Interior is super clean and comfortable.

The line was considerably long around 7:30 p.m. so it took a while for us to order and receive our food. I like that the tacos here are single tortilla -- as opposed to double tortillas, so the filling to tortilla ratio feels a lot more balanced. For both tacos, the meat is incredibly tender and flavorful. Although a bunch of sauces and garnishes are provided, the taco was good enough on its own. Of the sauces we received, my favorites to add was a squeeze of lime and the red sauce, which had a nice smokey Chipotle flavor and wasn't overly spicy. My friend ordered a quesadilla and it was absolutely massive! I definitely would only recommending ordering a quesadilla if you're sharing it, or if you're coming with a massive appetite. One thing that caught me off guard is that there are no prices posted anywhere. They simply tell you your total at the end, and in my experience, the prices are higher than I expected. To help others, here's what I was charged: Aguas frescas (Horchata, Strawberry Horchata, Piña, Jamaica): $7 each Burrito: $18 Mulita: $9 each Torta: $13 Huarache: $16 The food itself is very good, especially when they're not busy. When it's slower, the portions are generous and everything seems to be made with more care. During the rush, though, I've noticed the portions get smaller and the food feels a little rushed, which is disappointing considering the prices. One of my favorite things is the salsa bar. They have a great variety of salsas and toppings, including cucumbers, pickled cabbage, and other fresh additions, and you can help yourself. They also had four different aguas frescas available when I visited: Horchata, Strawberry Horchata, Piña, and Jamaica, which was a nice selection. I do think the customer service could be improved. A little more friendliness and better communication, especially about pricing, would make a big difference. Overall, the food is tasty and they offer a great selection, but I'd really like to see prices posted and more consistency with portions, especially during busy hours. Hopefully this review helps anyone wondering what to expect before ordering.
