There are two antique/resale shops within a block of each other on Woodward Ave, so I popped in to check them out. This shop stood out as being the best one, by far. It's clean, and the displays furnishings are nicely set up so you can stroll through and see little vignettes of chairs/tables/mirrors/lamps/cabinets all set up. I felt like I was wandering a furniture store rather than looking at second hand finds. Lots of treasures here. From large ornate mirrors, lamps, and art to collectibles from all around the world. There was a fair number of Asian collectibles. Sometimes an item was being passed off as "antique" when it looked like it might be more of the Pier1 variety, but I'll let it slide. As far as style, there are a lot of 90 and early 2000's trends represented. I bet Monica or Rachel from Friends would shop here. Haha! Don't expect thrift store cheap prices. It's not necessarily for bargain hunters. But if you want a nice piece of ornate furniture second-hand, I'd recommend you stop here to shop. Park directly in front of the store, or in the overflow parking lot at the motel next door. I am giving it four stars because it's a nice shop and I have almost no complaints. To get 5 stars it would have to really stand out from other shops. Perhaps have some more contemporary styles represented at more enticing price points. read more

Do not do business with Jennifer Awdish who apparently owns this business. She is absolutely horrible to deal with. She is incredibly dishonest. Then when confronted with proof of her lies, she gaslights. She has no integrity. She exhibits extremely crazy behavior and manufactures different scenarios in her mind. Jennifer missed our first meeting, didn't call and was unable to be reached. Second meeting she was late but we only found out after trying to call her store again. She took hundreds of dollars of new Waterford and antique items for total of $200. We were totally ripped off. She took things on consignment, but never called back to pick them up. Run away ! When I needed to clear out and sell everything from my hoarder uncles condo, they came in and bought a bunch of stuff, but then helped me by putting the word out to most of the areas resellers. In the end, a few days of selling and we cleared mist of the place out and made a tidy profit. Thanks to their help it was much easier and less stressfull. Thanks to everybody there. read more

BEWARE THIEVES !!! unethical and decieptful- EVERYTHING HOME sold me a defective lamp for $175. Because of defect, I was promised a refund. the next day when I was to receive the money, Jennifer the owner would not pay me. she will not answer my attempts to contact her. she kept the lamp and my $175. I texted I would post about this and I came home today to find the defective lamp on my porch. in addition, there was my table lamp that was supposed to be sold on consignment sitting next to the other lamp. it was missing the shade! a very expensive shade. BEWARE OF EVERYTHING HOME. I was greated by friendly staff. I selected items, none priced. I was told this other person had to give me prices. They were jewlery items. She touched every peice to her face, she said she could tell if it was real that way? Also a pair of earings which she promptly put in her mouth, she said that's how I know the pearls are real. I am familiar with that test. But in the age of covid and other diseases I find it very unsanitary. I left with out purchasing, I won't go to the store or there off site sales again. I am writing this review as "part 1". I stopped into the store on a whim almost a week ago. I moved into a new home and needed an area rug. I am all about low carbon footprint but a little worried about cleanliness. I found a gorgeous looking wool area rug that was still rolled up (but I could see the print). I told the owner about concerns re. cleanliness, specifically bedbugs. She assured me that the rug just came from a beautiful very clean home in Commerce. She offered me a discount due to it not having been hung up yet and that it would save them work. I paid $600 for the 6x9.5 rug which is a great price for wool. Even though she told me it was clean, once I was in my closed car I noticed a very strong & unappealing smell. I know it isn't moth balls or urine. Not sure what it is. I decided to drive it straight to Hagopian Rug Cleaners in Southfield. They opened it outside and said it was filled with moth larvae. They said they could clean it but couldn't guarantee it would be undamaged. 2 days later they called saying it was cleaned and undamaged. However, now that it is unrolled in my house it still has the smell, just not as strong. Sigh! I need to call Hagopian back today and see what happened. But if they can't remedy it I need to get my money back. I am now out $700+ with rug & cleaning. I am pretty nervous reading some of the reviews about how the owner has behaved. But then she denies these things and replied very nicely to some. I hope she is nice about this. I would think she would feel bad about selling a moth-infested rug that she insisted she knew was clean. And sit would seem she had to know it smelled! In the store there was no way to know with everything in there, but she said she picked it up in the home. I told her and her other employee I would put out a good word about her store. I know this isn't a good word. I say "Part 1" because the "Part 2" will be her response. I do love the rug and am so hoping it can be deodorized without more cost to me! If not, I sure hope she is fair about refunding my money!!! read more

This owner is full of hatred. She joins dozens of community forums, gets free items, and resells them here for ridiculous prices. There are specific rules in place that state free items are not allowed to be resold! When she is confronted about it, she never denies it and instead she just calls people terrible names. She's taking items from those really in need and getting a profit from it. She should be ashamed of herself and I hope you think twice about stepping foot in her store. read more

I would not shop here ever again. They are owned by Jen Jounie Estate Sales. That estate sale company prices things so expensively that not much gets sold - they have even refused to sell items at an estate sale claiming the customer wants to keep it - then you'll see it in their store. So, they buy everything dirt cheap as a lot from the customer and put it all in their resale store. No integrity whatsoever. read more

Beautiful showroom, welcoming staff, amazing stock- too bad the gentleman who helped me in the warehouse is racist. We were making small talk and everything was going great- found a sturdy piece at a reasonable price. Somehow we get on the subject of pitbulls and his words were "the blacks bred them to fight, so how do you know if you're going to get a retarded dog?" Distasteful and innapropriate to put it mildly! It left a horrible taste in my mouth. I'm sorry his actions will reflect poorly on the rest of the staff, because I was excited to be a frequently returning customer. If you want to get treated like your time isn't important, and then get played for a fool, definitely get involved with these people. Extremely unprofessional. The first time Jennifer said she would meet me to look at my items, she pulled a no-call-no-show and when I called her she said she got caught up with a customer in the store and "lost track of time." Really? Then when she came to my house, she looked at my items and offered me an amount. When I reasoned that the items were worth more, she agreed but said she couldn't offer more because she'd have to hire movers. This was after she told me that her offer was calculated to equal 10-15% of what she thought she could make on the resale of these items. I then sent her a couple of emails which took her days to weeks to reply to, if she replied at all. A few weeks later, when I finally agreed to the price, Jennifer replied that she would "see [me] tomorrow and will bring cash," and that her mover Mike will call me to arrange a time. So he calls me and identifies himself as "Jennifer's uncle, Mike." But thinking back, I realize that this same guy Mike clearly is part of the business because he answered the phone before when I've called. So the "mover" that she had to hire is actually Mike, who is her partner. But anyway... Mike set a time to meet me, 12:30pm on Saturday. So when he still isn't there at 12:50pm, I call to inquire about his whereabouts. He tells me, "I thought the trailer was empty, but it wasn't, so we're almost done emptying it and we'll be there in 30 maybe 45 minutes." So I'm already irritated, but I take some deep breaths and wait. So he finally shows up at 2pm, 90 minutes late, and still no trailer. He tells me the same story about the miscommunication and says the trailer is on its way. Then he starts looking at my items and starts picking apart every imperfection, and even calls Jennifer to tell her all the stuff he doesn't like and doesn't want. When I remind him that Jennifer was in my home and looked at all the items herself and offered me a price that we agreed upon, he gets ready to call her again. When I realize that I'm being scammed, and that he's going to try to lower the amount that we agreed upon, I ask him to leave and decide to donate the items to charity. Classless. Inconsiderate. Unprofessional. Don't waste your time. read more
