The entire staff handled this WRONG. And another mother told me she would be filing CPS and licensing reports ... because the same staff member Sarah , treated her INFANT wrongly as well ... and thought it was funny. Also when you bring up legal affairs they will ( in the same breath) delete camera footage and tell you that you may only direct your concerns to higher up directors because you brought up legal affairs . They lie about involving higher ups when families are upset so that you do not reach out yourself . The directors allow their staff to let new babies cry for long periods of time . They hire idiots that know nothing about the law or how to care for peoples INFANTS. And should be cited for deleting camera footage ,before the 30 day waiting period .

Ms. Alice runs this program and she is THE BEST! Very friendly, easy to talk to, professional and has just as much energy as the children! Even though Bella is in the Medio class, I have met the teachers in Piccolo and Grande class as well and they are wonderful! Kudos to you Ms. Alice for selecting and hiring such amazing teachers! This school is connected to Brightwheel, an App which allows you to see videos, pictures, classroom work and messages, real time. This school teaches by doing! They have chefs come in on certain days and teach our children cooking skills but more importantly, healthy living! They have exercise trainers come in on certain days to teach our children the importance of staying active and exercising the body and playing outside! This morning when I dropped Bella off, the Medio teacher had the children sitting in a circle, she would call a child's name and that child had to get up and go to the classmate whom the teacher would name, and greet them with a "Good morning ----". Teaching them manners and morals. I think some adults need to attend this school. Lol. They have scheduled breakfast, lunch, nap and afternoon snack. If the school has to close early or will not be opening due to weather, you receive a notification immediately. The only reason Bella is leaving this school is because she is moving to another state. If I could give this place more stars, they would be a 10!!!

My son was a late bloomer when it came to talking however, once he started going to school everyday we seen improvement with everything he do. Even his range of imagination grew. Amazing. I will definitely recommend this school. The schools curriculum is not all about preschool oral language, literacy, mathematics, and science but just learning the ways of life through all aspects and the environment around them and based on the students interest through the self guided curriculum this is a great place for a little learner to be.

Acting head of school does not care about the experience and environment for the children and parents, very apparent this is just a job. Guides specifically pictured for this location here not able to handle children who are more on the active side. Over charging for day care oversight and not educational or independent development as a Montessori is intended. Staff does not conduct in appropriate transparent communication. Location has increasing employee turnover. Son started September of 2024 at 2 years and 2 months in toddler house. Staff specifically for this class was however very good, transparent, communicative and genuinely cared for sons development. July 2025 son just turned 3 and immediately went into the children's house as one of the youngest amongst majority of children upto 6 years old. There was no introduction, meet and greet, expectations or tour of the new bigger child class room. The teacher immediately started a vacation and then left the school. Two guides left in charge was not even up to par with a adequate level of skill or knowledge to even represent the school. When issues started to arise due to lack of communication I would request a meeting in September of 2025. The guides would point out all the problems with my new 3 year old and not offer any positive techniques to build his attention, social skills, or developmental abilities as professionals should be able to do. Guide even had the audacity to tell me my 3 year old did not have empathy. Staff started to negatively address any little normal child behavior in front of my son on a almost daily basis, diminishing his self esteem. Eventually they removed my Son beginning of October 2025 without appropriate time to work on the social skills or areas of concern that are not out of the normal. Please consider this experience and review the the background on this company and mass closing of schools, turn over etc. This school again is focused on financial gain and not quality staff or child development and can be attributed to the bankruptcy.

Our daughter has been in Ms. Danielle's class since she was 15 months old and will soon be turning two. In that time, I've witnessed the profound impact Ms. Danielle has had on her development. It's clear to see that Ms. Danielle's deep love for teaching shines through in everything she does with our child. Our daughter has flourished under Ms. Danielle's guidance: learning letters, shapes, colors, numbers (in both English and Spanish), new sign language words, songs, dances, and so much more. But beyond just the educational milestones, Ms. Danielle has inspired a curiosity and love for learning in our daughter that will last a lifetime. As parents, we place an immense level of trust in our children's teachers-not only to help them grow but also to keep them safe. With Ms. Danielle, I never worry. She is always attentive, nurturing, thoughtful, creative, and approachable. Both my husband and I feel completely comfortable reaching out to her with any questions or concerns regarding our child. I greatly admire the level of communication she maintains with families and how she always partners with us in the care, growth, and development of our daughter. Although our daughter will soon be moving on to a new class, our family will forever be grateful for the love and dedication Ms. Danielle has shown to her. She is a truly exceptional teacher, and we feel lucky to have had her in our child's life. With sincere gratitude, The Stevens Family Waldorf, MD

We asked the front desk assistant if we needed to reschedule (since we did leave work for the tour) and she said "well today is pizza Friday and it will be a few more minutes (but couldn't tell us how many more minutes). First impressions are super important...if we are scheduling a tour to potentially place our children in this school, things should have been organized and prepared. Not to mention this tour was scheduled three weeks ago. This was totally unprofessional and frustrating as my husband and I both left work to attend this "tour". Also, I could understand had she said take a seat in the lobby we'll be with you in a moment, we are taking care of something but she didn't and then mentioned the tour was only 30 minutes and that we were the only tour for this day....as if our scheduled tour wasn't important. I am most definitely not sending my children here if the tour alone was unprofessional.

On the 8th of November I was prompted to pay $325 on the payment website. When I spoke with Nicole (The director) on the 9th, she told me my daughter was not moving classes just yet, she would keep me posted on openings and to pay the difference. So on the 9th I paid the difference and never heard anything about her moving again until Monday 11/30, when I opened the Watch Me Grow app and seen that I had access to the "Two year old class" cameras. After picking my baby up for the evening, my husband was told by a staff member that it was a permanent move, and assumed we were made aware. We were not. We did not even get the names of her new teachers until 12/3, when I had to ask for them via the Brightwheel app. Being a parent I noticed a difference in my child's demeanor, she was not happy for drop off time in the morning and didn't seem happy in majority of the pictures/videos posted throughout the day via Brightwheel. We decided to watch the cameras closely and see how she was adjusting to her new class. On 12/4, While looking at the cameras we noticed she was awake from her nap earlier than usual and sitting next to a teacher in a chair, the teacher was doing arts and craft. (It was posted in Brightwheel that she woke up at 2:57pm, she was not asleep.) The next time I checked the cameras (maybe 2:30pm-ish or slightly later) She was sitting at a table alone and unhappy with her shoes and socks off, Tyler put them back on for her but grabbed her hands and shook her up a little bit. Obviously the camera doesn't provide audio, but I'm assuming from body language she was frustrated with the babies crying and whining. Shortly after that, all the kids were sitting on the rug by the book case flipping through books, my daughter stood up and might have climbed on the bookcase (can't tell exactly bc of the horrible camera angles), Tyler went over and grabbed her and kind of loosely tossed her to the ground. Around 3:57pm Tyler was mopping the floor and Ashton grabbed a chair, Tyler grabbed her a little too aggressively for my liking and my baby hit the ground crying. I understand my toddler is a busybody, but you don't continue to grab her and toss her around..you actually shouldn't be putting your hands on her at all. That is completely unacceptable, and we will be filing a complaint with the state. She was randomly taken from her old class, which she loved, and placed into a new environment..without any kind of transitional period, with new teachers (Who's named were not shared until three days later..after I had to ask for them), so I'm sure the whining and crying was more frequent than usual. I can understand if that is frustrating, however that does not give a "teacher" the right to handle a child the way I watched Taylor handle my child. Also note: November 12th I received this message from Nicole: "Hey mom I wanted to let you know your child is visiting the two year old friends today! This is not a permanent change we are just down some teachers and has to make an adjustment for today!" So again, she spent only one day in the 2s class, that is not a transition and wasn't even intended for that purpose, we also did not receive any updates that day at all or have access to the cameras. So we have no way of even knowing how her day was..if so, maybe we would have been able to prevent the events that took place this past week. This incident took place on December 4th. I immediately picked my child up, got all of her things and told the staff it would be her last day enrolled. My husband sent a very detailed email to the director and assistant director. We never received a reply. I reached out to corporate and they put me in contact with the District Manager, Stephanie Carmichael, who has turned out to be a useless point of contact. We requested the footage, with very clear time frames. Upon reviewing the footage we noticed the most important clips were missing..which means this is also the footage that was shown to the state rep who did a virtual inspection of the school, per our request. So not only does the director provide piss poor communication, the District manager is either shady or clueless. I find it really convenient we were unable to view footage from an incident that occurred 12/4 until 12/22, and the video of a teacher slamming a child to the ground, causing the baby to cry, isn't included like we asked for in the very first email sent. The District manager also claims we are out of the timeframe to pull footage, but we will see about that.. Not to mention, the "teacher" in question is still employed and working with the children. All in all, I had high hopes for this school but it has proven to be a disaster..from the "new" teachers, to the director, to the District manager.
