Our home inspector, George Lopez, was very friendly and knowledgeable! He walked us through our whole inspection and talked through everything he was looking at. George took time to answer our questions and teach us how to use and maintain things in our house like our water heater, air conditioner, sump pump, and appliances. We were impressed with how thorough our inspection was, and excited about how much we learned, since this will be our first house. George provided excellent service and the report we received after our inspection included details and pictures of each part of our house. We are very pleased with Everyday Home Inspections and would absolutely recommend them and use their services again in the future. read more

Our realtor suggested George for the inspection of a Mayland home we are purchasing. We are extremely happy with his service. He is very thorough, even using a drone to inspect the roof, where he found damage in need of urgent repair. We highly recommend George and will use him again. read more

EHI was very reliable and I truly appreciate the same day service. I'm a realtor and I called and explained a mix up with another inspection company and I further explained how my client had taken off today and we really needed to get the inspection done asap. EHI was able to accommodate me and the buyer with same day service and George was extremely informative and thorough which was beneficial for my first time home buyer. I will definitely use EHI again! read more

I hired Every Day Home Inspections to do a home inspection prior to purchasing my home. I asked them for a mold inspection and to alert me of any potentially expensive problems. Shortly after purchase, I hired a duct cleaning company to come out to clean the ducts because I was feeling health symptoms associated with mold allergies. They looked in the vents and noticed I had mold in them. So I called 2 different mold remediation companies to come take a look around the house. They found extensive visible mold in the crawlspace and some in the attic. Both companies (Maryland Mold & Waterproofing and East Coast Mold Remediation) took pictures to show me. After the mold remediation estimates, I asked George Lopez (the home inspector) to come back and look at the house again and talk to me about why he hadn't reported the mold. One of his employees, Andy Lyons, had done the actual inspection and he returned as well. I had already hired a company to remediate the mold in the crawlspace because of the health effects I was feeling so he couldn't go back and look. However, Andy admitted "I didn't go all the way through the crawl space and I didn't look in the vents". When George looked in the attic he admitted there was visible mold. He could locate the mold within seconds of looking. At that meeting, he told me at the time that "to begin with he would refund my inspection fees" and we would talk further about what he could do to help. A few weeks later, I received a check for $400, which is less than half the inspection fee. I feel that this company was negligent. I made a decision to purchase my home based on their inspection. If I had known about the mold and the associated remediation costs, I would not have purchased the home. I put my trust in this company and now I am thousands of dollars in debt because I was not able to make an informed decision read more

Long story short, I work in real estate in California and hired George to do a pre listing home inspect on my house in Maryland. He called me a while after the inspect to tell me there was something wrong with the electrical in the kitchen because when he flipped the breakers off the power wouldn't come back on (btw it's against osha and ASHI guidelines to flip breakers, it's a visual inspect only) since I was two days away from listing it on MLS I had to rush in an electrician to diagnose and fix the problem George had caused. George btw initially agreed to pay for rushing out an electrician since he had caused the outage. Well George calls me back and says "I don't care what you do, I'm not paying anything to get your power back on, it's not my problem, I did my job." I told George through text that I will be filing a complaint with the commissioner and leaving a review on yelp. George texts me back and I quote: "you are a dishonest person who hired me to tell lies," bizarre I know. He also emails me the next morning threatening to sue me for defamation if I leave a negative review, also bizarre. Well the electrician calls me the next day and says that there was nothing wrong with the electrical or the breaker and that George had just forgotten to turn the main breaker back on at the sub panel. Let that sink in, George was so unprofessional that he actually wrote up in an official home inspect report that the electrical wiring in the kitchen needed to be repaired when it was a simple matter of flipping the breaker back on (which he should have never touched in the first place) what a joke right? If it hadn't cost me time, money, and stress I would be laughing. Bottom line: do yourself a favor and skip the drama, hire someone who knows what they are doing and skip George. read more

If you ever need an inspection done thoroughly for your house or any structural building ,Everyday Home Inspections is the company to trust which dedication and knowledge are first rate from George Lopez.  His many years of experience and education provided us with an excellent job well done. When I met George at the town home I was  getting the inspection completed at, his outstanding professionalism was encouraging and I knew this was a good choice.  George  walked through the site explaining what work would need to be completed and  how many years when it came time for the maintenance  to be done,, specifically the brick work , roof, deck, steps, windows,  siding and railings on the exterior of the house.  The interior covered three floors which he walked us through each level.  He pointed out items in the interior which I would never think to inspect. His advice was very informative of how to fix and what to look for. With all of this said the final touch of the job was the very thorough report that was sent to us. This report contained 57 pages  of detailed pictures of each part of the inspection with  items that needed work completed that were categorized in order of importance.  Each item was rated from  good to poor given how many years of age for each . The explanations covered documentation for present and future maintenance. George Lopez provided us with a detailed report, a complete stress free walk through within the two days the inspection took place.  I wouldn't definitely recommend Everyday Home Inspections . Thanks George , Kind Regards, Victoria read more

Mr. George Lopez, Owner/Master Home Inspector was recommended to me and I am so glad that he was available in the short time that I needed him. He was very professional and thorough in his inspections and report. As a first-time home buyer, I had many questions and George explained everything to me in a way that made the most sense. Unfortunately, the home had structural damage (thankfully George found it)! After I got over the initial shock, he discussed some possible next steps with me and I was able to make the most informed decision for myself. Although, that house will not be my first home. George will be the Inspector that I call when I find my next "first" home. He is very honest, trustworthy and I highly recommend him! read more
