They make a delivery or installation appointment. They are right there on time with necessary equipment and supplies- no long list of add on installation kits that big box stores use to jack the price up. I recently had an issue with my washer latch. I was out and about. I stopped in and showed them the photo I took. They verified they had a part in stock or would order. They made the appointment for 2 days. The guy was there promptly. Made the repair, talked about prevention, made another suggestion about another issue. Can't beat that for service! They mailed an invoice spelling out parts labor etc. I happily mailed the check. If you need an appliance and want courteous help and value. Stop in!!

f I could go lower I would wipe this guy off the board!!! DO NOT I repeat DO NOT USE THIS GUY!…read moreStarted to do a repair charged 125 to tell us he needed to order a part. In the amount of 363.11. Meanwhile he also charged shipping and handling and additional labor charge of 75 dollars to install a part that his diagnostics got wrong. Now mind you this family has been without a washer for almost 2 months! The money invested in this nonsense is the price of a new washer!! So now he ordered a part that does not work, and doesn't know what is wrong with the washer but charged $125.00 to tell us he did!! So now with upset elderly parents out a total of $611.02 total and no washer. So I called the guy and stated he has has long enough (4/20/26) to repair this and a refund is needed so they may get a new washer and move on. The owner of BATTENS APPLIANCE went ballistic on the phone screaming and yelling and making threats! He's going to sue us for telling the public the truth!! I welcome his gesture. Mr. Marc Woodard talked me into a cheaper appliance and brought it that day and set everything up and ran some test and did not leave until everything was working 100% to his satisfaction. I could not be more pleased or happy about the experience I had with them. 10/10 recommend. Yall can have the big box stores but Ill stay with Woodard and Sons appliances.
