I was very impressed with Emmy (Teller). She provided some of best customer service that I've received lately. She acknowledged both myself and my wife as we entered. She was warm and friendly. Her smile and demeanor was relaxing and put both of us at ease. She was obviously trained well and it shows. Great customer service is rare nowadays. Please make sure that you reward this exceptional employee for her hard work. Your company is blessed to have such a outstanding individual working for them. I walked in to an empty lobby today with two people who work there chatting with each other. Asked if I can open an account and was told "no can do" - they are too slammed and everyone is booked due to call offs. This is not even a request that requires an appointment. Pretty sure the guy with whom I spoke was a manager, he turned me away and then proceeded to stand around doing nothing. Seriously, there is no one in the bank and you can't open an account for me? Going to elevate this to someone who might possibly care at JPM/Chase. Abysmal customer service.

I have been a member since 1990 and have always loved this credit union until the last couple of years. I feel the employees aren't happy so they are unable to keep the customer happy. No more friendly employees (especially in the lobby in Valpo.). You just get the verbal acknowledgment, next time you are actually able to reach reach them by telephone, that they "couldn't answer the phone calls because they were too busy". And, to top that, you couldn't sign into your account for many days because of problems with their "3rd party" who apparently takes care of their online portal. Time to start shopping around for a better place to keep my money.

I waited approximately 30 minutes, and during that time the line did not move at all. When we arrived, there were no cars in the drive-through. One employee finished helping a customer in the lobby, told the next customer "I'll be right with you," and then turned to assist the drive-through instead. She proceeded to help four cars and never returned to assist the customers who were waiting inside. I understand the need to balance lobby and drive-through service, but it was frustrating to see the lobby line completely stalled while drive-through customers were prioritized, especially after being told help would be right with us. I ended up leaving and not making the deposit. Not Sure I want to go back!!!
