This boutique is the definition of delightful. Booking an appointment was a breeze: the staff were super quick to respond to my request to change the time of my appt, and were exceedingly kind about my tardy arrival. I felt totally at ease immediately and the stylist (Hilary) was so laid back-- her affable attitude and professional demeanor made the entire dress shopping process SO much fun. The dresses themselves are unbelievable. I have a fairly conservative budget but Hilary showed me a plethora of stunning gowns within my price range. The entire boutique-- from the dresses to the decor-- has been thoughtfully curated and is both elegant and charming. I cannot recommend this place highly enough-- I had lofty expectations (based on a glowing recommendation from a friend and a thorough stalking of their instagram pics) and was not disappointed in the slightest. I went by myself and bought my dress alone. Upon realizing what a massive faux-pas thst would be with my mother, Naseema set up and entire "first appointment" for me and went through the entire thing like it was my first time there so I didn't upset my mom. I give it one star because I'm generous! My experience started off on a very positive note. The women on the phone was engaging and warm. Once we walked in, our experience was the polar opposite. We travelled two hours for this appointment as they were well aware. Charlotte rushed us into the room and in and out of dresses. I asked several straightforward questions about the dresses and she couldn't answer a single one. She knew the designer and that's where it ended. She was not professional, and could not sell the dress because she did not know her product. We still had 25 minutes remaining on our appointment time, but as Charlotte pointed out because we showed up 15 minutes early, our appointment in her estimation was over. The service lacked in several areas: knowledge, and courtesy, and so I wasn't surprised that we weren't even offered a glass of water. Deeply disappointed. read more

Everthine bridal is everything you could possibly want for your dress experience. Throughout my wedding journey, picking the dress was the most daunting task to me for a variety of reasons. The private appointment in the most beautiful and welcoming feels-like-home environment made it a personal, intimate, and fun experience for me and the ladies of my family. It was as if Chelsea was able to read my mind as far as what dresses I liked and were less comfortable with. While I didn't get my dress here, I did not have the same experience anywhere else I went, but Chelsea gave me the right tips and pointers to feel confident in finding my dress in the future. Everthine is an incredible bridal shop for unique, whimsical, romantic, beautiful dresses. Theresa was amazing - she listened to everything I said and was able to pull a few dresses that I would have pulled myself and also a few I never would have taken off the hanger. In fact, the dress I picked was far from what I imagined myself in but it was PERFECT. After I made my selection, my maid of honor took a look at their bridesmaid offerings. They have the most beautiful chiffon skirts and either plain or sequined tops in many colors. We chose the color we liked and we were done!! I really can't thank them enough. I arrived two hours early for my appointment and the staff accommodated me! Despite my budget being on the lower end they were able to hand select a number of gowns for me to try. They were attentive, adjusted the gowns once on and gave me the space needed to reflect and make my own decision. It did not take long for me to find my dress at Everthine Bridal. What an easy decision it was! The entire process was effortless. I should also mention that the shop was so incredibly beautiful. Located in a home from the 1700's with vaulted ceilings and gorgeous throw rugs throughout. Everything about this shop was tasteful from the staff, to the gown selection and even the appearance of its surroundings. read more

I went here with my sister this past weekend to look for her wedding dress. Best wedding dress shopping experience I've ever had (including when looking for my own wedding dress). The women working here were attentive, practical, and welcoming. The ambiance was relaxing and my sister sat comfortably in a robe as dresses were selected for her. I went here last week with my mother and cousin (maid of honor) after trying to track down a Jim Hjelm gown in MA & NH. After a month + search, I finally located it at Everthine and it just so happened they were having a trunk show with THAT dress! It was about two hours from Boston and when we arrived, I was pleasantly surprised -- the cutest little bridal shop in an old house, it was warm and welcoming, decorated so nicely, and the employees were friendly and easy to work with. Kimberly was so great and was very responsive via email before our appt. THAT dress was the first one I tried on, and I knew it was the one... I cried, laughed, and just knew. I was encouraged to try on others because you never know if you will like something better. After a dozen or so dresses, I went back to my first choice. It was a great experience and they made me feel comfortable, even when I was sweating from trying on so many dresses. Ordering the dress was easy and I should get it in a five or so short months... This experience was everything I hoped it would be and more. I found the Rue de Seine dress collection online and followed the collection to Everthine. The shop itself is bright, contemporary and inviting. What beautiful accessories, lingerie and holiday decode.Even though the bridal party before us ran over not one of the staff were anxious or pushy. I haven't decided on a dress yet but had to review Everthine for the really wonderful first wedding dress shopping experience! My mom & sister were definitely more excited than I was to start looking for a wedding dress. We're from the area so we made a first appointment at Everthine and I'm so happy we did! I think my consultant's name was Charlotte & she was so lovely. The little house is cozy and romantic and warm from the first moment you walk in. They made the experience really fun & helped guide me through how to try on all sorts of things and figure out what I liked or didn't. I'm THE most indecisive person in the world so this was very helpful. We spent over an hour trying on all sorts of gorgeous things, including face timing with my grandmother who couldn't come, but they put absolutely no pressure on me to decide or buy something on the spot. She even encouraged us not to try to go too far over budget. After going here, I tried other spots in Boston and NYC and they all knew Everthine & said its the best bridal boutique in CT! I just purchased my dress from Everthine and I am completely in love! This place is absolutely lovely and my experience was wonderful. My stylist (Melanie) was so sweet and helpful and really made the difficult and at times overwhelming dress buying process great. While smaller than the collections at the larger NYC bridal salons, the selection of dresses far exceeded my expectations in quality and style. I tried on a number of dresses prior to my visit to Everthine and while I liked a few of them, I never got that wow feeling until I walked out in the one! Melanie put this really cool headband in my hair along with a gorgeous veil. She even brought out earrings to complete the look. I looked in the mirror and started to tear up. I never thought I would be one to get so emotional but I just looked so beautiful. She really created a whole look for me, which was exactly the look I was going for. It was the first time I could imagine myself as a bride. It's worth noting that although she brought out all these beautiful accessories, she by no means tried to push them on me or sell them to me right then. I tried on dresses at three other places before coming to Everthine, and my experience here was by far the best. The decor is absolutely charming and very welcoming, so I was excited the moment I stepped in the door. It's a small place so I was the only person trying on dresses during my appointment, which was really nice because I didn't feel rushed at all, making the whole experience calm and relaxed. The stylist (Melanie? So sorry, I forgot her name!) is amazing- she put me at ease right away, really listened to what I wanted and understood what I was looking for, and seemed genuinely excited for me when I found dresses I liked. They don't carry a huge number of dresses so I was worried there wouldn't be much to try on, but they kept bringing out great dress after great dress! You can tell that they put a lot of thought into which dresses they carry, which results in a variety of unique and beautiful options. I ended up purchasing the first dress I tried on (and it was a sample, so it was a great deal!) and I am so, so happy with it. They have beautiful accessories as well, so I might be going back to check those out! If you're getting tired of trying on dresses at big, crowded salons and are looking for something a little less-traditional and a little more personal, this is definitely the place for you. read more

I live on the west coast, but my wedding is on the east coast. I had only one opportunity to go home to shop for a dress for my December wedding and Everthine was one of three places went to. I am not the kind of bride who had thought about my dress that much (or really any of the details of my wedding), so I didn't even know where to begin. A friend's cousin recommended Everthine, so I booked an appointment. When I got there, I discovered the cutest little shop I had ever seen! It was not cluttered and I did not feel overwhelmed at all. The entire experience was so personal. The ladies there seemed like they could have been my best friends or sisters. They selected dresses - a few at a time - based on what I described and they kept everything within my budget (at other stores I felt VERY pressured into spending more than I wanted). The dresses were all in excellent condition and very clean (I found that some other stores had very dirty sample dresses). They found the perfect accessories to go with the gown I picked and oohed and ahhed over everything I put on. :) They were very helpful with suggestions when I asked, since I really needed help deciding what would be best.
