My fur baby liked the vets here - and everyone! They treated her like she was their own fur baby! When it became necessary to "let my Layla go", they could not have been more caring! Since my baby was not able to walk - or even stand on her own, they met me at car with a stretcher and carried her as if they were carrying a human baby! They were loving, caring and provided me (and family members with me!) with sympathy - and even had tears in their own eyes. I cannot recommend this Vet Hospital high enough! Lotus Vet saved the day!…read more We moved to OCMD and needed a new vet. We only found one who accepted new patients and they took advantage of us. Lotus was friendly, responsive, fit us in so my dog could get his rabies shot. I had to reschedule, then arrived 5 minutes late when I missed my turn, yet they never stopped smiling. My dog had been traumatized from the prior vet and after a growl or two, was put at ease, and it was an easy smooth process. Thank you Lotus Vet!!

My husband passed away in August and I have to be grateful that he was here with me when we lost our dear Maxwell in April of that year. Dr. Culver has a business called Evergreen and provides in home euthanasia for clients. MAxwell became suddenly very ill in early March, and long story short he was diagnosed with hemangiosarcoma on his heart. The day he was diagnosed the ultrasound vet said we had days with him left, perhaps a week. I went home and started reserxhin and found a chinese herbal remedy that stopped bleeding, and it gave us six more weeks with him, but he began to fade for the final time. We called Dr. Culver nd her assist t was so kind and helpful and explined the process to me. We made the appointment on the day I knew it was time and Dr. Culver could not hve been gentler or mor compassionate. MAxwell was sent to the bridge from his own living room with Scott and I bothe holding him in our arms. DR. Culver transported him to the funeral home for his cremation as well as providing the euthanasia service. She is absolutely wonderful!

They fired the vet, but my cat paid the price in the end. Chris is the most uncaring individual and should not be trusted with any pets well-being. If you don't take your pet there for shots and everything else every year they make you pay the price too. It is my choice who I use for vaccines, not up to them to dictate who gives it or how often. I had proof that my cats had vaccines, but they still didn't believe me! Finally this past weekend, Chris told me I was now a new patient because I hadn't been there in a while. And they weren't accepting new patients. That is the last time my pets suffered the consequences of supporting this poorly managed facility.

My parents had an appointment to euthanize our 17-year-old cat, who had been declining rapidly. This was already an incredibly difficult and emotional decision for our family. They canceled the appointment without any notice--no phone call, no message, nothing. The only reason we found out was because my mom called to ask what to expect and what she needed to bring. That's when she was told they were closed due to "unforeseen circumstances." To make matters worse, the woman on the phone was extremely rude and offered no guidance or support on what we could do next. There was zero compassion shown during a moment when we truly needed it. This is also not the first time they've canceled an appointment without notice, which makes this even more unacceptable. In times of grief, you expect at the very least basic communication and some level of empathy. I would absolutely NOT recommend this Banfield.
