I normally would have gone for a massage locally, but with everything being closed, I had no choice. I scheduled an appointment, was seen right away, assessed and treated with Myofascial Release. This is for the location in East Harlem. I went for three weeks and it was one of the worst…read moreexperiences I have ever had. I thought it would get better, it never did. The PT's are usually busy with multiple patients and extremely inattentive. They have curtains that don't fully close, which means lack of privacy. The PT's spend a lot of time talking and gossiping with each other, or sitting down at a table working while they have clients. On multiple occasions I finished with an exercise and it took 5-10 minutes for the PT to check on me. Usually I ended left early because I felt like the PT really didn't care and was too busy engaging in conversation with their colleagues. I came to my last appointment on time and the PT was busy eating lunch or something. Not sure she was even there because she didn't come out. They wanted me to start on the elliptical, without checking to see if I still had pain, which I did, and the machine would only exacerbate the injury. I immediately left.
