Saved the trip!
Stopped here (on the way to a canoe trip on Manistee rv.) to buy ice for camping. I unknowingly dropped a wad of cash on the counter that was needed for the 2 day trip. I'm a senior and that was saved up for several months to help my son and his family (here for the week on vacation) with expenses. After paying for the ice I headed out side to grab the ice and the cashier followed me out handing me the cash and told me what I had done. I was in such shock, all I could do was explain how much that meant to us and how she saved our trip! I'm from the metro Detroit area and had this happened there, good chances the money would have never been seen again!! Good things come to those that do right by others! This same kind of paying it forward has happened to us too, when we found cash, wallet, credit cards, papers and important pictures. Fortunately we located the lady from id inside the wallet and she too was overwhelmed and with her mother recently dying she said the wallet and things belonged to her mom along with her mothers mementos, which she said meant much more than the cash inside! Money can't buy this kind of feelings you get from inside!
