This was bought and reopened by the same folks who run the store at Kellogg's bridge, and they have spiffed up this location, which was quite dingy the last time I was in it. It's very (almost glaringy) clean and open now. The stock is small and basic, though I expect that will change as they go forward and more people become aware of them. I had stopped in for some beer, and the stock of that is likewise small and basic, but there were some good craft selections, and I picked up a nice IPA from Grand Armory brewing. The price was exactly what i would have paid at a big-box grocery downstate, which was pleasantly surprising.

But, if you're not picky, they have a basic items at slightly marked-up prices. It's within walking distance of the campground and is the only liquor store within a few miles. I usually never have to stop here unless I need ice or more beer. They also don't sell fishing licenses.
