Lived here for a little over a year. We moved from out of state and couldn't do a walk through before hand. I was told there was an elevator. However, there's only an elevator in building a and we were about to lease from building b. When I told the Leasing assistant manager, he responded to me. Oh, there is an elevator it's just not in this building.... Joy because I just like riding them up and down not to use them to get back-and-forth to my apartment. Awesome. Come on buddy do better. The whole apartment was disgusting. I can do better patchwork myself just on the fans dirt still on the kitchen counters and in the refrigerator. Disgusting The leasing manager was horrible. Thankfully, both of these people moved on to other places and there was a new manager. This new manager I actually liked however, she left by the time we move. The maintenance man Juan is amazing my son absolutely loves him and always gets a big smile whenever he's around. He really cares about this place and the people living there. Now the reason why there's one star. The week we turned in our notice to leave someone tried to break into my car. that same night someone else's car was broken into and another car was stolen. I went ahead and told the office to add that time the district manager was there she responded to me. Oh, you need to call the cops. Yes I'm aware that I just wanted to let you know what was going on. She then said oh you need to call the cops like I can't do anything for you I don't care that that happened. Not to mention all the drug addicts that are coming in and out of there. There's also a homeless person sleeping in the elevator at the time it was cold outside, so I understand why he was there, but still he was able to get into the apartments and found a nice place to sleep. There is another one that I saw when I went to take my dog out he was standing in the corner talking to himself and since I had the dog, I wasn't that worried about it. I had my hood on when I walked out the door, and I saw they took it off to make sure that I could see what he was doing only to find him right next to me. The man then took a couple steps back. walked past him and walked very fast and I almost ran into the apartment and shut the door. There's always something going on. I found out later that someone on the same floor as me is a sex offender who isn't register it sure if they are still there. read more

Denise Koval is the reason why these things are happening! READ BELOW AND DO NOT MOVE INTO THESE APARTMENTS Who's Denise? She is your property manager. Why do you not want to move in here? I'll tell you. My car has already been broken into twice within the 6 months I've been living here. They have stripped my car to the point where it won't turn on. My packages have been stolen from inside of the building and my mail has been stolen as well. People are smoking fentanyl in the hallways and setting off alarms from smoking cigarettes in the hallways. I have multiple videos of the ear piercing alarm that gets set off throughout the morning. They last from 5 mins- 20 mins. There is black mold everywhere that they just paint over!!!! Ground floor floods everyday. The fence that leads to the parking lot in the back is broken and refuse to properly fix it and they refuse to put cameras up in the parking lot to protect you when multiple people have asked for them and when people give the police statements, police say that they encourage the property to put up cameras and they don't! Denise Koval has called me ridiculous for worrying about my safety and god forbid you try to contact her on the weekends. She really needs those reset days. The way Denise runs this property is a big reflection of who she is..trashy! And so is this property. STAY AWAY FROM HERE. They will raise your rent every year as well, $175. read more

I lived at this complex for two years, and my first year was pretty good! I moved from across the country and the staff was super helpful in making the process very smooth. They were understanding of my situation and helped me out a lot. They even made a special adjustment to my apartment for my for a certain consideration I had. Though the outside of the complex was a little rundown (fitting right in with its surroundings on Evergreen Way), the apartment itself was nice and clean. Unfortunately I was on the back side so my view was of a used car lot (that likes to do loud work like unloading cars late at night), but I didn't mind since everything else was nice. I liked that they did little resident events for holidays and otherwise, and I really felt like I could reach out to the staff with any problems and get the help I needed. Maintenance came within a reasonable amount of time too. Once I adopted a puppy, the Bark Park became an awesome feature! It was almost like having a yard. The community patio space was nice too, they put up string lights, had a fancy grill, it was just a nice place to hang out outside. Now... the second year. I think management must have changed, I definitely was seeing different staff. Things went downhill quickly. As another reviewer had mentioned, the place got much dirtier. There was almost always trash in the hallway, and you could count on seeing it for at least a week until someone bothered to pick it up. Once someone dumped a whole ashtray of cigarettes out next to my car and they were there for weeks until the rain washed them away completely. There's a pair of shoes outside the back door (the one that leads to the common area) that have been there for months, and I expect will still be there for a long time to come... Fun game, if you visit the property, check if those shoes are still there! Another weird form of dirtiness was the food that was all over the sidewalks along the back side. Walking a dog along this area was horrible because there was consistently some kind of food scattered across the walkways, usually bread but also sometimes chicken wings, french fries, sandwich bits, you name it. One time the bushes were "decorated" with soft shell tortillas. I hope you like the smell of pot because you're going to be smelling it almost constantly whenever you leave your apartment. I've also found needles in the parking lot and other very suspicious "paraphernalia". And yeah, like the other trash, you'll get used to seeing those things every day for a little while. It was "fun" keeping my dogs away from all the food, trash, and needles strewn about the property. Another small note about the property, good luck if it snows again, they don't make it a priority to plough the parking lot. Another complaint about the new management are the staff themselves. I used to always say hello to whoever was working in the office, they knew my name, my apartment number, and they were just overall very friendly to me. After the staff changes, I felt like they were annoyed to have to look up at me if I walked by. They were friendly enough I guess when you got talking to them, but the overall vibe was meh. The resident events slowed to a halt (to be fair to them, some of it has to do with Covid) and signs started to pop up like not to put incorrectly delivered mail on the windowsill or not being willing to hold packages at the office anymore. While not totally unreasonable, it somehow did come off as unfriendly. The string lights stopped working, the grill rarely had propane, the property has become dirtier, and again, the resident events ceased. It's the little things that add up to a general feeling of blah. And finally, moving out was the complete opposite of when I moved in. If they cared even a little, you'd never know it. When I gave notice I was leaving, the only thing I got was a list of stuff I better have cleaned if I wanted my deposit back. That was literally the only communication I received until I got what was left of my deposit about two months later. I wouldn't have even known what to do with my keys if I didn't reach out. I'm just glad to be done with the place. Apparently they felt the same about me. To conclude and summarize, this place was pretty decent when I first moved in and I would have likely stayed longer, but things went downhill in my second year and I knew I needed to get out of there. Positives? The apartment itself was spacious, the grass is cut regularly, location was fine, some people have cute cats in their windows.. uhh... Negatives, It's dirty inside and out, the staff don't really care about you anymore, security is eh, and more that I would say but I'm literally being cut off on characters. read more

DO NOT MOVE HERE! Literally one of the worst places to live. You will never find parking and when you do people will hit your car. When you put in request to get things fixed, they will cancel your requests! They like to hire people to do work in the middle of the night. I've had a stranger walk into my apartment and the manager just laughed it off. They would rather throw useless "apartment get together s" than to fix anything in this place. so, got home at 8 tonight to find water pouring from my bathroom ceiling. at 11:15 it is still coming down along with parts of the ceiling. Took over 2 hours to get a response from the emergency number for maintenance. Now Over 3 hours later and no usable bathroom the janitor says someone will be here before 9am tomorrow. water still coming down. he did nothing to try to stop it. clean it up. and since the bathroom cannot be used the solution he offers is a key to an empty unit 4 floors up. REALLY!?!?!?!? To whom do I complain? This is a statement taken from the property management page: "Integrity and Transparency At Calibrate, our fourth principle is the commitment to be honest, consistent and fair in all our dealings. We will be ethical, sincere, and open, and our integrity will not be compromised. Finally, we will hold ourselves to the highest standards and deliver on every agreement that is promised." Given this is not true...Integrity blown! UPDATE: 12+hours later, I found someone in the office and demanded they come down to see the ongoing event. water is still coming through the now destroyed ceiling. manager nor janitor can give me any idea when I will have a useable bathroom. no toilet or shower to use in the unit at all. still no confirmation of where the water is coming from. toilet water, bath water, clean water. No one has identified that. What have we been contaminated with? What is the liability of this company to protect us? admitting they do not know the source of the water and no concern for exposure to HIV, HBV, tuberculosis, staph, strep, fungus, mold? Evergreen on 47 - Safe & Sanitary Living Conditions? - Apartments Near Me - Everett, Washington

The complex is unsafe, filthy, and new management uses unlawful practices to take advantage of tenants. 1.) Management uses tape to keep front door unlocked and often forgets to remove it before they leave allowing anyone to enter the building. We've found homeless people wandering the halls at times. 2.) There is dog feces and pee on the carpet and in the stairwells. The complex very rarely cleans the common areas (excluding the main entrance which is cleaned daily). 3.) They did not plow the parking lot during the last several snow storms. 4.) They will keep your deposit and send you directly to collection at move out without attempting to contact you. In my situation, they were unresponsive to my correspondence. read more

I'm going on my 3rd year here at Evergreen on 47 and in such a short time there have been so many improvments. They've put in a dog park (small but still a bonus), a gym (also small but when it's so close I can't complain!), and they've started doing monthly events for the residents. It's close to the I5 and H2 and we're right on Evergreen Way (great for people working at Boeing). There's plenty of food options within a mile and QFC and the Dollar Store are a block away. The building is pet friendly (up to 2, I believe). Neighbors are hit or miss but that's how it is with apartment life. Office and maintenance crew are awesome! Always quick and friendly. Definitely would recommend, especially to those with pets. read more

I've lived here for about five months now. The apartment complex is very pet friendly. The front entry way is very nice looking and the management is extremely friendly. The couple of times we had a maintenance issue, it was solved swiftly and politely. Some of the appliances in our apartment are out of date but it's what you do with it! (There are some updated ones I believe) Overall the experience has been good. My only complaint is there is one hallway that always has an off smell. Lived here for a year and some months. Always parking spots available (be careful where you park though some people dont care how they treat other peoples cars.) Before we moved in, the basement became flooded so our apartment was remodeled. I liked the apartment it was very nice. In the hallway there are multiple doors you have to open and in every section there is an off smell! One moment you smell delicious cooking smell. Next door you open it would smell of really bad hygiene. (if your pregnant I wouldnt recommend living here unless your close to the exit!) The blinds to our apartment always broke off, couldnt open or close without being super forceful. Our ceiling fan wasnt put up very well it would move like it was going to fall off so we never used it. Maintenance person came and fix our bathtub because it wasnt draining so I think there good! Some people have pets and im not saying all owner's let their dog's do this but a dog had peed inside and no one cleaned it up so its probably still there. Also a dog had peed on my tire twice!!! Makes me angry because i take really good care of my car and and they just watch their dog pee on anyones car. So I park further away so no animal will pee on my car and no one will hit my car. Now there are new people that took over the evergreen apartments and this is why we moved out. They are remodeling the apartments and have raised our rent 100.00 or more.. Now we have to pay W.S.G. when it all used to be free. The managers are no good. All they want is your money. We had an inspection and my boyfriend went off to work, so I was getting myself ready for the day then someone pounded on my door. I asked them if they could wait a second because I had to get my clothes on! And he told me "NO! YOU HAVE TO OPEN THE DOOR RIGHT NOW!" and I told him "NO, YOUR GOING TO WAIT BECAUSE I'M NAKED AND NEED TO PUT CLOTHES ON!" then he tells me to hurry up. So I found my robe and open the door and he comes barging in and it was quick about the inspection. It was very aqward and embarrassing. My boyfriend calls the manager and she says there is nothing she can do about it! So we where happy to move out! These people are clueless and rude. But the apartment itself is nice. New management definitely has their tenants in mind! Doggy run, ample parking, washer/dryer in unit and dishwasher! The grounds are well kept and there is personnel patrolling premises. I lived here a few years ago and the apartment managment was really the problem. The neighbors were noisy and rude. I've never had my walls rattle as much as they did here, whatever happened to common Human courtesy? The managment was rude and my last few months there they raised my rent! I didn't even want to pay the original rent it was so high, why the hell would I want to pay it now?! It's not worth it, I'd sooner sleep in my car than in this trash bin of a complex. read more

Don't rent from, these people! You can hear the neighbors whisper!! It has plenty of water damage,MOLD!!! I lived there for a short time,couldn't get away fast enough. Sure they take pets, but there is no place for them to go outside.Especially from the 3rd or fourth floor. The first week I was there, the dining room lite fixture fell from the ceiling and almost hit me in the head.And there is a whole list of things wrong with this place.Security door,HA! I love this place! It allowed me to have my two furrkids and they worked with me on leasing an apartment. It is under new management so everything is getting refurbished. Lots of parking available. Very conveniently located around grocery stores and other shops and restaurants. read more

I moved in after the new property management took over, had heard bad things in the past but this was right next to work so I took a look. The building has been renovated nicely, and is getting better and better, I think balconies are next. The complex is fairly unrecognizable from it's past, which is good. The onsite managers are some of the nicest people you'll meet, they ask how you're unit is, how you're doing there, does anything need attention, etc. I've never had a landlord that seemed to care. Also, the maintenance staff are extremely efficient and totally respectful. The apartment is very cozy and quiet, unlike other Everett experiences I've had, very nice. It's a secured entry building, and the other tenants seem to keep to themselves, resulting in a drama free living environment. It's an apt complex I would actually recommend. As long as you pay your rent on time, you're left alone. That's how I like it. read more

The management and maintenance staff here are top notch. When ever I come across either and any of them, they always greet me with a warm and friendly smile, and also ask how I am doing. I also have had moments when I would get caught up talking with any of them, and felt like I was at home, talking with people that genuinely care for there tenants. This place is honestly the best. The managers, maintenance and all the people that live around us. We are really happy with how quickly maintenance takes care of issues here and how the managers are always willing to work with you even at hard times. I would recommend this place to anyone! I am really surprised there has been no reviews yet, well let me be the first. .. this place is awful! It is 24 years old and you can see/smell every year. Its an all indoor apartment so you walk through the main door and take the stairs/elevator to your floor. The elevator isn't terrible, although it could use a cleaning now and then. Once you get to your floor you walk down these nasty stained smelly hallways that are partitioned off by doors, so first the carpet, the carpet is an old blue indoor/outdoor carpet that has stains everywhere and lines from people spilling their trash as they walk down the hallway, this creates the smell I metioned earlier. it's awful, as I mentioned before there is the doors that separate the hallways into sections so there is no airflow in two parts of the hallway which makes the smell even worse. For the doors they are just as bad for instance on my floor there was someone who had got blood on the door and it is still there 3 months later. Management came and painted all the doors but did not clean all the doors and you can still see the blood under the paint. Nasty.in my apartment when I first moved in there was a lot of things that were broken for one I do not have baseboards anywhere so parts of the drywall fall out onto my carpet all the time. The ad says full size washer and dryer but they are not full size and they rattle so bad you have to close the door from all the noise that is created. Also you have to sign an agreement that there is no mold in your apartment or on your balcony. There is lots of mold in the apartment it's like they cleaned it the day before you move in and it appears the next day. Around the bathroom is the worse there is a vent but the mold is stained on parts of the bathtub. they also allow smoking inside the apartment so when you move in your apartment smells like cigarette everywhere also if you keep your windows open in the summer to let air in because there is no air conditioner you get the smell of cigarette smoke all night due to neighbors. If you need something fixed for maintenance it used to not be too big of a hassle although now I have put in a request about a week ago and it has not been acknowledged. My door is falling off the hinge my towel rack fell off of the wall my garbage disposal will not turn on the vent above my stove does not turn on my heater popped really loud and was throwing sparks the other day this place is a real fire hazard..the view is of a parking lot and again if you have your windows open during the summer all morning is cars with loud music and loud exhaust driving through the parking lot late at night they race through. it's a good thing I don't have a small child trying to sleep. There is a back door but it is disabled. They said they were having a hard time with people leaving the door open so instead of installing some sort of alarm that goes off when the door is open for too long they just disabled it completely and you can no longer use the back door to get in or out when taking your trash you have to go all the way around the front of the building dragging your trash through the hallway making it worse.this has nothing to do with the apartment complex but my car has been door dinged more than ever since living here. I have lived here almost a year and cannot wait to get out they have also raised my rent in the middle of my term which I am Not sure if that is legal or not but since I did not pay the 20 dollar raise in rent I have gotten any intent to inflict letter. I am moving due to a job and there is a possibility I would also be relocated back to Everett but I would not ever come back here. read more
