I received 2 arrangements from Evergreen. The one was full of beautiful succulents in a wonderful ceramic planter. I was very happy. The other was a fall arrangement of fall colored flowers and leaves in what looked to be a wonderful assortment of fresh flowers. But on taking a second look about 1/3 of the flowers were silk and the leaves were also about 50% artificial. I have mixed feelings on my family paying for fresh flowers and getting silk flowers. read more

I stopped in here to grab some flowers I needed in a pinch. The cold room didn't have a ton to offer, but I did see an arrangement I liked. I asked the woman if there was something in the room that was less fragrant than others, as the recipient had severe allergies. She then asked if I could come back. I told her I needed it now. That seemed to annoy her. She appeared quite busy fulfilling orders but I was the only person standing in the lobby. She attempted to pull out flowers and replace with others but it looked very plain and lost the original beauty. I asked if she could do anything else and that seemed to trigger her. She told me it was too late to cancel my charge card (I didn't want to cancel) and she stormed off. Literally ripping out and throwing flowers out of the arrangement and placing new ones in. It was super bizarre and super inappropriate. When she came back and plopped the flowers in the counter she told me I needed to add water when they reached the destination. I asked if I could have a receipt and she abruptly handed my receipt. (She never gave my credit card back, she left it on the counter so I had to grab that before I left) The flowers were pretty but if you can't order online or come back for an order, I'd skip being chastised here. read more

Omg for the eighty bucks I paid to have a valentine arrangement sent to my recently widowed mother, it was pathetic. It looks nothing like the pictured bouquet on their website AND I paid the higher price for the 'better' bouquet! Every one of the flowers are tiny babies, already bloomed but tiny babies . The greenery is skimpy and sad. The bouquet looks like someone stopped and picked wild flowers from the side of the road and threw them in a vase. This is our 1st valentines without my dad After 59 years of marriage my mom is totally heartbroken without him. I have always meant to post this review and never did. We had Evergreen (I think Libby...?) do our flowers for our small and simple wedding ceremony. They did an incredible job. I wasn't very particular about flowers, so the woman who helped us used basic info about our decor (colors, themes, preferences, styles, etc.) and took the lead with very little help from me. She created the most beautiful desert bouquets I've ever seen in my life. She delivered them for free to the church the morning of the wedding and even helped decorate our arbor with extra silk lilies when she got there. I can't say enough nice things about this business. The delivery price is similar to others and you do pay more, but when picking up flowers for your honey, this is the BEST place to visit and go into the cooler to pick out your flowers. After having a few interviews with some boutique style wedding florists and having my mind explode over how expensive flowers are once you put the word "wedding" in the discussion, I made an appointment to talk to someone at Evergreen, a local florist my family had used for years for random flower arrangements. I should have just done that in the first place. Our wedding day was the Saturday before Mother's Day, which is apparently a big day for the flower industry (who knew?) Even with that situation, the price was beyond reasonable and the staff was helpful in suggesting low cost flowers that would still look as gorgeous as the big-budget options. The day of the wedding, I got a peek of the centerpieces as they were placed on the tables. They were perfect, simple & elegant, just what I asked for. The boutonnieres were amazing, they really understood what I meant by masculine and elegant. The bridesmaid's bouquets of white carnations and green lily grass were simple but gorgeous. My bouquet of carnations, coffee bean, lily grass, and green hydrangeas was breath-taking. I would highly recommend Evergreen Flowers for any occasion. A Fabulous Discount Flower Store on the east side of town. If you're ordering flowers outside of big "flower power" holidays (i.e., Mother's Day, Valentines Day); they really can't be beat on price. It isn't fancy, but the flowers are beautiful. They have a great selection of balloons, and will do custom cards through "Send Out Cards" which is a great option to offer. I ordered 30 carnations for a Valentines Singing I was doing for senior citizens, and they did a fabulous job for under $30 -- little plastic hearts, some babies breath and greenery, and even with the spray-painted edges I thought it was an extremely reasonable price for a usually high-priced time to buy flowers. read more
