Wow, I feel the complete opposite of all recent reviews. I have been very happy with Creative Circle for the past 2 years. They have sent me out on many different interviews and I have received competitive pay and challenging positions Freelancing at Digital media companies throughout the West LA area. I did not know anyone when I found out about Creative Circle, I simply called, sent over my resume, and set up an interview with Liz Campanile. She got me started on papers to fill out about my skills, what I like doing and what I don't enjoy doing to stream line my focus of future employment. She is direct and serious about what she does because she is successful and works well in CC's group of recruiters, she also has a great reassuring quality (when you feel you will never get a job, as I felt when I went there), if you go in there be serious about being your best because she will see that in you, and find you a job.
LeAnn is awesome and is always quick to respond to emails regarding upcoming interviews, detailed descriptions of job, and location. She has sent me out on 2 of 4 of my hired positions, super positive and I feel like we know each other really well, and we have never met to this day! Andrea is also really cool and has helped me find work.
So, if you sign up for a job agency and you expect them to land you a job if you don't continue to follow up to help the process, be sure you're ready to work harder on your part - I mean you are the one trying to make money, they have lots of different clients to focus on, and they only want serious ones, their repuation is on the line by your performance, you must be a go-getter! Lots of calling, leaving messages, emailing back and forth, but I'm telling you it's worth it. I suggest them to all of my friends and write emails on their behalf, to introduce a new person looking for work, the rest is up to them.
It pays to be competent communicator, even if you think the job description is over your head, but you see that most of it matches your expertise, don't be afraid to apply for the position. Follow up a few days later to make sure they know you're interested, and most of all a great personality wins in every situation. Any time you have already planned that you can not work, let them know ahead of time, they will work with your schedule. Put your best foot forward and you will achieve your goals, and even if Creative Circle doesn't work for you, know that every one has their own style of work, process, and timing is everything!!! read more
