I called and they said I wasn't scheduled for that day. Installers, to my surprise showed up around noon. An hour in I check on them. They were attempting to go around the existing fence instead of removing it!! Now I have poorly patched concrete. It gets worse. Most of the vinyl they installed was damaged. I reached out. Would NEVER EVER EVER hire these guys again. Should be called Never fence because it will never get done. These guys constantly give excuses about why they can't show up, or why things are delayed, or anything else, but they always give you "their word" that it will be done, which means absolutely nothing because they never follow through with their promises. The operations manager in particular, Rich Rodriguez, is a total liar who will tell you anything you want to hear but will never ever deliver on his word. That is actually if he answers his phone or gets back to you. Do not hire these guys if you care about getting your project done. I hired them for a fence and a gate, and they started on February 17. It is now march 4 and they are still not done but always tell me it will be today. I was told Thursday it will be done, which then became Friday, which is now Saturday and it still isn't done. I would hire literally anyone else before them. Even if they knew nothing about construction. These guys provide nothing but excuses. The work that actually gets done looks good if they manage to show up. Also, worth adding to. I didn't know this at the time we agreed to the contract with these guys, but according to the contractors state license board of California, contractors are not allowed to charge more than 10% or $1000 of the total cost for an initial deposit, whichever is less. We paid way more than this because we didn't know this. Avoid paying these people until you are satisfied and do not pay them more than that $1,000 or 10% if they ask for it. Update on this, they finally came by to do the gate. And it looks like trash. Paint overspray, paint splatter on the fence, on the ground, and on the gate itself, burn marks from the welding, and the gate is scratched. This is the kind of work that they find acceptable. They continue to give me "their word" that they will make it right. Just such a nightmare experience. We originally also got a quote from Vinyl concepts for pretty much the same price but wanted to support a local business. I was in desperate need as a homeowner with two brand new puppies on a hillside that is not fully developed yet with tons of mud and I have worked with fence companies from Malibu to Westlake. This company helped me out so much. They worked safely even when it was raining. They came back immediately if I needed anything adjusted, there were a lot of staff members that were available to communicate with if you couldn't reach one person I was able to reach another and Danny who came back and cleaned and touched up. They were responsive, they made the quoting process easy and quick, and they didn't delay in getting a new fence for us, at the right price point, promptly and on time. Prepare yourself for a surprising review!!! If you are like me you go out of your way to read reviews and get multiple quotes before moving ahead on a project. If you are also like me you leave reviews both positive and negative (if need be) but don't just skip over the good transactions for the bad. I try to be fair. When I put out for quotes and estimates EverFence came back the quickest and so I set up an appointment with them when I realized their HORRIBLE reviews!!! So I quickly mentioned to them that bc of the reviews I would no longer need an appointment. They responded back kindly and respectfully that they understood but I might also appreciate knowing that they did 500 installs last year and for some reason only the negative reviews seem to get highlighted on Yelp, may be because the people that gave them positive reviews don't have a habit of giving reviews on Yelp and so the algorithm pushes them back behind the "not recommended" review section that you have to scroll down and click on to see. So I told them that I would give them a shot and if the price quote made sense, I wouldn't hold it against them. The truth is the price quote was $300 less than the other 5 quotes I got. And they also were the only company to guarantee the materials and labor for like 30 years if I remember right (just to give you an idea, I had someone quote me at $300 more and offer a 30 day warranty on the install!!!). They also worked their butts off to come up with innovative solutions for some complex install issues we had! I am please to say that they were able to work a miracle. If you get a chance to work with Corey ,do it!!! He personally came to my house, wrote up the bid on the spot and they when we had unique installation hurdles he came back to my house and worked out a plan with his installer for our specific issues. He also gave some nice esthetic recommendations like framing our block pillars with the white Vynel instead of simply going from pillar to pillar with it and while the suggestion used more material his price was still $300 less than anyone else! Lastly, he personally drew a drawing and texted it to me to make sure we would be good with the look, which we were! His attention to detail was just amazing and he has probably texted me at least 5 times since we started this to reassure me, ask me clarifying questions, and announce his team's arrival. They take 50% up front and nothing else until they finish (very professional, I just had to fire someone for continuing to up the costs on a project that they obviously underbid!!! That sucks!). Finally, they thought it would take 2-3 days to finish and they got it done 2! Suffice it to say, I CAN NOT AT ALL UNDERSTAND how EverFence got its negative reviews when I consider my experience with them! And while I can't speak to those, I think it's only fair to offer my more than positive experience! Not only would I use them again, I already have a separate quote that I will be hiring them to fulfill for me in the next month or so!!! Had someone come out for a quote, ordered the fence & then things went sideways...I actually wrote to the CEO. He immediately responded and sorted things out. I think our house looks better with the fence! Fast forward to 2024...same dog figured out how to escape. Got a quote from 3 companies, Everfence was the best...it took me awhile to get back to them...when I did, they honored the quote from Feb. & immediate got to work. The end result looks great! This review is only for the initial request for a quote. I went online and set up a time for someone to come out for a quote. I received my automated appointment time through an email notification. The day before my appointment, I received an automated appointment reminder by email. On the day of my appointment, (Friday 14th) the time came and passed. I called Everfence, and Cory told me he didn't have me scheduled. He said he was sorry and could come by after he finished with an appointment. After showing up and taking measurements Cory said that he would send me a quote in the next day. The weekend came and went and on Monday 17th I sent Cory a text. "Good morning. Checking in to see when you'll have the quote? Thank you" Reply: "Waiting to hear from my fabricator" "Should have an answer by end of day" Wednesday 19th - still nothing. Sent another text: "Hi Cory. Anything yet?" Wednesday and Thursday go by and crickets. Friday 21st, 10 am- I send another text "Have you given up on this project?" Reply: Can you confirm your email address? I sent this out the other day" Me: text my email address. Reply: "I am about to take off on a plane and will check once I land" Monday 24th - I hope Cory is okay and made it safely to his destination, or he's still flying and hasn't yet landed, because I still haven't heard back from him. I've been checking my inbox and Spam box. Nothing. Time to move on. UPDATE: Just heard back from Cory after I just let him know I still didn't receive anything and posted a Yelp Review. Reply: "I apologize the emails didn't send due to the size sending from my cell phone. A very disappointing experience overall. The best part was the sales rep, who was courteous and friendly. When I asked him why I should use EverFence, he said that their installers are amazing and their customer service was outstanding. Neither is true sadly. Their cost for what I needed was about the same as others whom I had called for a bid. They were the only ones that had the pattern/color of the vinyl fencing that I wanted. I went ahead with them. Big regret. The gates were crooked, they don't close properly, they are flimsy and they gave nothing but excuses as to why they could not fix it. It's now been about 2 months, and one of the gates is again not closing properly. I sent them pics and explained the problem....no response. The warranty is worthless, if you can't get them to come out and look and fix the issues (which you are not supposed to have in the first place). Extremely unhappy!!! read more

I was recommend EverFence after my puppy figured out how to get out of our old fence. I was dreading the process of replacing an entire fence and did no know what to expect price wise. I requested an "instant quote" online and was matched with a team member. Overall, the "instant quote" process was really easy and was accurate to my overall cost. I was disappointed with the quality of service and follow-up. The Sales Rep came to my property on 4 different occasions. He was friendly and completed the work order. I was asked for half of the cost and told that the front office would be in touch to set a date. I understand that there may be other projects pending; however I had to wait over a month for the install to happen. When the workers showed up they had the wrong material (redwood 6 inch boards vs. 8 inch boards). They also were not clear on the 2x4's that needed to be replaced. They could not start the job. This was an inconvenience due to taking time off for the project, not to mention collecting half the cost from my neighbors and letting them know so they could plan ahead as well. When I spoke to the office manager Madison she reached out to her manager and called me back letting me know that the job would be completed by a senior installer the next day. The sales rep John, called me to apologize stating that he owned it and made a mistake with the paperwork. I met the installer and his team the next day and they completed the project as promised by Madison. The professionalism was a disappointment as well. The workers left and told me that the old fence that they took down would be picked-up by Rene (senior installer) in the evening. One of the workers asked if he could leave the buckets, a trash bag, a concrete bag in addition to additional supplies (extra wood boards) in the front yard. I was fine with it, since everything would be picked up in the evening. Much to my surprise the old fence was still in front of my house on the street the next day, in addition to the extra supplies. I called Madison again who was not aware and told me that she would call the installer to pick the fence and supplies up in the afternoon. Again no one called or showed up. I called Madison the next day and sent her pictures and let her know that this is a hazard as people are walking on the sidewalk and could trip or fall on the fence which had nails, screws and sharp pieces of wood. She called the installer again and told me they would pick everything up by 2:00 p.m. I called her at 3:00 p.m. asking for an update, since no one showed up again. She called me back to let me know that they would be by at 4:15. They finally showed at 4:15 to pick everything up. I was told that they were in Los Angeles and were told they could not leave. They did not sweep or clean up the dirt, pieces of wood, nails and screws that were on the street. When I asked Madison why they did not clean up after they completed the project the first day , she stated " I don't know, that's a good question". At no point did anyone take ownership for anything, only excuses- such as I'm just the messenger or I don't know. The only person to take ownership was John the sales rep calling me the first day of the install as indicated earlier in my comments. I would not recommend Ever Fence. In reading some of the reviews I agree with the person that stated it should be called Never Fence. read more

Everfence really stood behind there work. During the heavy rain and winds my new fence they put up came completely down. I called them and explained what happend, no talk back no argument they said they will send a person out on monday to evaluate what happend and go from there. Sure enough they came out cleaned up evertything and said they will schedule a person to fix it. That week or so later a person came out and fixed all the brick wall toppers and installed new one. Then they came back and reinstalled the whole thing back. It cost me ZERO DOLLARS, they said it was all covered by them. Now that is a company you can trust and count on when you have an issue. I have recomended them to several of my friends and neighbors and all have been very happy with them. You know what they say you get what you pay for and they are amazing. We are extremely unhappy with Everfence. We hired them to build a fence and gate and it took almost one year to complete the job and fix the poor work they did. We ran into numerous problems with them: They cut our sprinkler lines and didn't have the decency to inform us so we could turn the sprinklers off. Instead covered them up with dirt and we didn't find out until a neighbor informed us water was gushing down the street. The work was sloppy and unprofessional. The posts were set at weird angles not inline with the house. They had to reset three of them which resulted in huge post holes and massive amounts of concrete taking space in the lawn. Other places the concrete poured around the posts was minimal and not enough to support the posts. They left the jobsite a total mess with piles of dirt and concrete chunks all over our grass. They didn't build the gate to the dimensions I asked. In addition to that the gate was flimsy. They installed the metal gate hardware on top of screw so it couldn't sit flush. Within a few weeks the screws were backing out. I couldn't even tighten them because the design of the gate has nothing solid inside the cross supports of the gate. It's just screws going through 1/8th inch plastic. After the job was complete, we were told someone would come back for a final walk through and they'd invoice us for the remaining $2000 we owed them. A Few days later we wrote an email to Cory, Rich and Kenney documenting our dissatisfaction with the job and the lack of acknowledgment or ownership of the problems that occurred. Every month that went by with utter silence from Everfence perplexed us because we still owed them money. I seriously thought they were going out of business because we didn't hear a word from them for nine months! Just recently they reached out to try and collect the balance from us. We showed them the failing gate and they built us a new one. It's definitely better but one of the hardware pieces isn't at a true 90 degrees so it sits off the gate slightly. They are afraid to unscrew it and replace the hardware because you only get one shot with screws in plastic. In the end we asked for a $500 discount due to all these problems. They finally agreed to a $300 discount and had the gall to offer an extra $100 if we would write a 5 star Yelp review! Seriously. read more

Let me preface this by saying, I thought long and hard about the type of fence I wanted to install, so when I finally found what I wanted, it was super important to find someone who could do it right. After receiving a few different bids (and being stood up by a few others), my neighbor referred me to EverFence. They had done their vinyl fence a few months prior and I remember being impressed by their quick, quality work. They had a sales rep out to me the next day, who not only answered all of my questions, but had direct communication with his sales manager for my "picky" detail questions. They made the booking process super easy (and I like feeling like I'm in good hands), so I booked right away. They had install dates right away, but I wanted to make arrangements for my dogs, so I had them start about 2 weeks later. They dug out my ugly fence and began working on the beauty shown below. Rich was my installer. There wasn't much need for communication with him, but he was very pleasant when we did speak. I was replacing a wooden driveway gate. The sales quote was written up incorrectly, the quote was for a half fence and a single gate which would have prevented me from getting my car in and out. They took 2-3 weeks to schedule the work. I had to call 3 times to get a date. The installer came and cut my old gate in half first thing. Then when he started building the fence I told him I wanted a driveway gate or double gate that I was quoted. He said that requires a change order. The office called me and said they needed an additional $600 dollars. I talked them down to $400. Total cost $1400 for a 6x9 double gate. The redwood used cost $2.30 a picket at Home Depot. The installer used wood that was very raw and shrank within 2 weeks. The fence is crooked and not level. The wood cracked and piece broke off. They even used old hardware off the old gate. I sent pictures to complain, and I did not get response. Never use Ever. read more

We spoke with Kenney Austin, project estimator, and it was a great experience. I normally don't have any need to review estimates, but Kenney was hands down a friendly, approachable, and most of all experienced professional. They are quick to come give you a quote, take your deposit.... But fall way short after that. Our experience was very similar to other reviews. Ordered a gate and 20' fence at the end of May. Several install dates were set up but never happened throughout the following five months. Zero communication. I contacted the owner Josh and asked for him to help get the job done. He was interested in the beginning and seemed eager to help but the guys didn't show up for the installation date that he set up. I reached out to Josh once again but he did not reply to my text. We finally had a guaranteed install date after sending several emails. We were told that we didn't have to confirm but we decided to the night before just to find out that they were not going to show up the following morning because parts were still missing!!! They finally showed up two days later just to realize that they didn't have all the parts they needed to do the job. Frustrating company to deal with. That is when we asked for a reimbursement. At 1st everything was great. Got a quote and a date to get my gates fixed / replaced. The day the project was to start, no show in the time frame they told me. I reached out and they said they needed to reschedule for the following Monday. This time they didn't show at the time they were supposed to but showed up and did half the job. They were supposed to be there the next day to finish and did not. Had to reach out to get them to come back out. They eventually did, but still did not finish the job. I'm now 3 weeks past the original start date and my gates have yet to be finished. We are 2 weeks from them showing up finally and still unfinished. They installer contacts me with times, then doesn't show. There is always an excuse. He's going somewhere else, he doesn't have the parts, he can't get into the shop to get the parts.
