I was in dire need of replacing 4 gates and about 100 linear feet of fencing. Kelly, who did a virtual visit was able to give me a quote in less than a day in both vinyl and wood. I then had to run it by my neighbor who hates vinyl and wanted some changes so Kelly, once again, turned around the quote in record time so that I could have it for my meeting. He spent a good amount of time talking with me about the couple of items that need attention, referencing the photos I sent and looking at our property virtually. He explained what he thinks needs to be done and, based on the level of repairs required at this time, thinks this will be a better fit for a handyman. We asked for a bid for fencing between my mom's house and her neighbors. ERGEON was fast in responding and setting up a time for them to take a look at the project and work on a quote. They gave us two choices for a quote. They could meet us in person or a video conference. We decided to go with a video conference. Took less than 14 minutes and got the quote later that day. Mr. Mark, Senior Customer Specialist Advisor from Ergeon was very professional. His years of experience made him very detail oriented in conducting a property assessment in using video call technology. I was having some technical problem with my new cell at the time, and he took the time to explained step by step in completing the process. A couple of calls were made to go over any questions or concerns that I may have had. His honesty had gain my trust to move forward in getting the work done - ( 2 vinyl gates going toward the backyard). It took a while for the permit process to be completed, as I was feeling kind of disappointed, and discouraged, due to the expiration date (Oct. 21, 2021) on the contract - but it was worth while. The quote process was easy and seamless like I stated in my previous review and Kelly was amazing, however, once I approved the quote the install experience was difficult and lacked good communication on the part of the Project Manager Edgar. He started the project off informing me of the install process and scheduled someone to come survey and take official measurements. I didn't hear from him until 10 days later where he informed me that everything was good to go and that they would be coming 2 days later with two crews on the 4th to install the fence and it would be done in 1 day. I was asked to be home between 8:00am - 10:00am for the crews arrival and when no one showed up at 10:30 I reached out. It wasn't until I reached out a second time that I heard back from him at 12:00pm informing me that they couldn't come, because the material didn't come in and that they would be in and ready for install on the 5th. The crew showed up and instead of it being two crews like stated it was only one. They only installed one section of fence and removed another that day stating they would come back the following week. I had to call Edgar the next week when no one had to arrived to find out when they were coming. When they came back a 2nd time they did not have the proper materials. Proper materials needed to be ordered and were going to take 10 days to arrive. It again wasn't until I reached out that I was informed of the next install date, a date that was decided on without consulting me first. We scheduled a 3rd install date and the crew informed me that they needed to come back to finish a couple of things on a 4th day. After that I received a text stating the work was done when in fact it wasn't and it wasn't until the following Monday that Edgar called and I had to review the list discussed with the installer and he confirmed with the installer. Something that was originally quoted to take 1 day to do ended up taking 4 days over the course of a month. They are getting 2 stars from me on the install process because the installer and finished product were both good. read more
