My first time ordering for sympathy, the customer service was amazing over the phone to begin with. Excellent conversation and they were very helpful to me who hasn't done this sort of thing before. Excellent prices for an outstanding arrangement. I don't have a photo because it was delivered for a wake, but when I arrived I was shocked to see which arrangement was mine. Due to the price I thought it was going to be on the small side, but on the contrary, it was a huge and absolutely beautiful arrangement that I'm very happy with. Without a photo, I'll have to ask that you just believe me when I say it was colorful, but calm for sympathy. The best I could have ever asked for. They're great. I needed flowers for a wake, on behalf of 20 people, and I gave them a list. Some people at the wake said they never saw the flowers at all. I called Everett Florist, and I was mad. They showed me an actual picture of the flowers, and gave a detailed explanation of what they did. When I talked to the son of the deceased later, he showed me the picture of the beautiful flower spread, with a very nice card, with all the names ... but the family decided to removed the cards for some reason (maybe not to embarrass people who didn't send flowers). My brothers and I went to see Kelly three days before my mother's service. (She also did my dads a year and a half before.) My mother passed unexpectedly so of course we were in complete shock. On Saturday, July 9th I stopped by Designs by Sheila in Rehoboth to order a single floral bouquet for a female friend. Sheila listened to my story and while taking my information down, realized that the destination was outside her delivery zone. She called her friend Kelly from Everett Florist. Kelly listened to my story and took my information. She recommended a Spring Bouquet which as it turned out was Perfect!. She created the bouquet and then had it ready for delivery the next day. This review starts out a little bit negative, but Everett Florist won me over with some good customer service you don't usually get from a florist you ordered from online. I ordered a little bit late in the day (Monday) online, and due to the online system they use, it came even later. I sent an e-mail because I was hoping the flowers would arrive the day I ordered, and wasn't too keen on them coming the next day(Tuesday). There was a slight confusion and the flowers were delivered on Tuesday. That was alright because my girlfriend still loved them and they were still on time for the occasion, the selection they used was great and their price really beats a lot of competitors (at least where I'm from) in terms of bang for your buck. The owner e-mailed me back Wednesday claiming that they were delivered on the day I requested. I wrote back a little bit upset and wanted to explain that their website and my receipt made it clear they were supposed to come earlier. After my e-mail back, they called me genuinely concerned about my issue, and asking if I'd like the flowers to be picked up. The owner made it clear that she wanted to understand the problem I was having and fix it for the future, and that she was really sorry for the mix up. She also helped me understand that calling was a better option, because their website is rather new. I don't think I've ever recommended a place that I've had a bad encounter with, but when you put together their price, the item, and the great customer relations - even a messy order will make you willing to recommend. read more

Based on the prior yelp review I placed an order for same day delivery. I called in and asked for a purple and white arrangement with aromic flowers - lavender etc. A couple of hours later I received a text from my girlfriend saying how much she loved the flowers and how great they smelled. I've been waiting for a dependable florist in Everett and I think we may finally have one! A little bit pricey as my arrangement cost just over $70 including delivery, but like anything else you get what you pay for. Certainly an improvement over 1-800 Flowers or other national brands. After doing an online search for something a bit more local I came across Everett Florist (located at 379 Broadway, Everett, MA). They have a lovely online selection of arrangements for all floral needs. I chose the "Heaven's Promise Sympathy Tribute" which was reasonably priced for the kind of arrangement it is. After seeing it in person I was even more pleased with the presentation and how fitting it was for the moment. The website is super easy to navigate and placing the order was a breeze, nothing at all complicated. I promptly received an order confirmation and then another when the arrangement was delivered. The owner verbally assaulted me. I ordered flowers on a Monday for a wake that would be held on Thursday. Not from the immediate area of the services i accessed the web to find a florist. Boy am I sorry I found this one, especially during such a difficult time. The website was easy to use and even filtered the information for the funeral parlor - auto completing the parlor name, address and phone number. I got a confirmation via email and trusted all was set. It was on Thursday while on my way to the wake that I got a message from a family member, "no flowers here from you". Wondering what went wrong, I called Everett but it was closed. Still wanting to know what the dilema was, I left a message. All I said was my name, phone number and to call me. When the phone rang on Friday I was at my desk - it is important to know that i work for a state agency in an open office space. It is impossible to raise ones voice or use profanity as this is not acceptable in any professional environment. Everetts is clearly not of the same standard as what ensued proves just that. I began to explain who I was. Raising my voice is not an option because like I said, I was at work. I explain this because what I was subjected to on the other end of the phone was not only unwarranted but absolutely unprofessional. I began to speak, "I ordered flowers for a funeral and I had no idea the delivery was canceled" She quickly yelled / interrupted, " you were refunded" I tried to speak, "I know that but this was a funeral and I found you online, I got confirmation but you didnt ..." I wanted to explain that she could have called. The services were 3 days away from the order date and good customer service could have been afforded. You see I also contacted other florists for help who said their policy would be to call the customer and refer aomeone else. Furthermore they went on to say that florists in various areas communicate often for out of area deliveries. Everetts did none of this. Instead, she verbally asaulted me. "Dont interrupt me you f!@#ing bitch! You are a f#@!ing stupid a**hole that searched a florist online that you didnt even know. Dont interrupt me, go f@!$ yourself! And guess what?" She added, "I am the f#@ing owner so f#@ you" she then hung up on me. I did not have a chance to speak and I did not call back. Instead I am here to let you know the character, indecency and ultimate vial business practices in which this woman functions. She may sell flowers but I assure you, there is nothing rosey about this woman or her customer service. I would not recommend her and will go far and wide to be sure that folks know how she operates. I did not call for a dispute. I called to express the unfortunate situation it left my family in, feedback from other florists and to offer a suggestion when there is a delivery for such a sensitive matter. I was afforded none of that. Instead I was forced to be slighted one more time by this woman while I sat at my desk. Not only did she verbally go insane on a customer she lost all credibilty. She also advised against online ordering and searching - saying the method was for a**holes. So, I am here to tell you, dont be what she calls a "f*** asshole" who orders online. She made a time of grief even worse. I strongly advise against supporting such a vulgar business owner, the flowers may be pretty but let's face it flowers grow that way and this woman is no flower! Amazing work and on like a days notice! I visited the shop at 3:45 on Thursday. My sister was getting married on Saturday. Long story short she liked an arrangement online made of silk flowers, we tried to recreate it (cascading) and I was not in love with it. So I go to the shop in desperation knowing, its crazy to have a bridal bouquet done in basically a day. I show her pictures of what she likes, she asks some questions about colors, dresses, theme etc. She tells me I shrug can get something done for me. Short of the pictures I showed her and the fact my sister wanted Calla's in her bouquet, I gave her no direction. She told me she would call me Friday morning just to let me know she was able to get the certain flowers my sister wanted. Sure enough she called me and said we are good, I can pick then up Saturday at 1pm (she offered to deliver but I was going to be in the area). She went above and beyond! The bouquet was beautiful! She added jewels to the flowers, she added sand dollars to the bouquet based on the nautical theme (I gave her free reign on designing besides the few flowers my sister wanted). It was amazing and more importantly my sister loved it! I can not thank Everett Florist enough for everything! read more

I got some flowers for an anniversary. First off, the flowers were beautiful, I couldn't ask for anything more. After a few days I had an issue with the flowers so I called and expressed my concern with I believe Kelly. Kelly had the delivery driver come out and get the arrangement without an issue.
