The original cinema was Lincoln Square Cinemas that they took over, which is a decent traditional multiplex with an IMAX screen and chairs arranged in stadium seating that actually lean back a bit. The lobby is open and has lots of room for displays promoting other films. On the left hall, the rows of screens is quite expansive which could make for quite a walk to the bathroom or to get concessions and bring them back. It might not be a bad thing to have some of them renovated to be like their Totem Lake location. The Cinemark Reserve is a whole other thing, and truth be told really deserves a separate Yelp entry. It is meant to be a premium experience. Like the iPic in Redmond it is an electroncially reclined seat with seat warmer and a table for a meal with waiter service. It's 21+ only and they serve alcohol. The finishes on the walls are slightly more premium but not too much above and beyond their newer Totem Lake location. There is a big lobby area for concessions but a lot of the walk-up food service areas have fallen into disuse after covid. Cost-cutting wise they're really pushing kiosk ticket buying, which is fine, but yesterday the printers weren't working, so the kiosks could take your credit card payment and then leave you with nothing. When they radioed for the manager it probably took half an hour for the manager to show up. I noticed the cost cutting at the original cinema too as the one person that could sell you a ticket is also the person who checks you in on entry. That being said, there really isn't an alternative to watch the latest blockbuster or buzzy indy/foreign film in the West Bellevue area than here and they do their reasonable best to ensure a good experience.

There is a button you can push to call a server, but I've never had to do that as someone usually greets us shortly after we sit down. From what we've tried on the menu, I can recommend the quesadilla, the mac n cheese, the grilled cheese, and the fried chicken. The fries are really good. I've tried several cocktails and the mule is one of my favorites. The servers have always been really pleasant. One time a drink was not delivered that I had ordered but they didn't charge me for it without me having to ask. This movie venue isn't cheap. Tickets are $20 and the food menu isn't discount. The food is pretty good, and when I compare to what I'd pay for dinner and a movie elsewhere, IPIC comes out in that range. Note that they do add an automatic 18% service charge to the bill which isn't boldly stated. I was glad I saw that in another review and thought to look for it myself. The screen and sound are good. My daughter and I like our fun nights out here and will keep returning.

The person that checked us in to get our tickets was rude. We were asked if it was our first time at the theater I said I've been here before but it was my friends first time. The ticket attendant then said that I can give my friend the run down. Idk what run down she's talking about but her delivery was extremely rude. We just wanted our tickets and everything else she said was rude and unnecessary. The seats were comfy but the blankets were rough. I ordered a coffee and it was nice and hot. I think that's why the Galaxy Theaters in Monroe shines. Every time I go here, I go when it's fairly quiet (like... 3:00-5:00 during the week). I usually see kids movies or kid-friendly moves... with kids. So, thats my lens, here. Parking is insanely huge and you will have zero issues. The only edge-case is that the Monroe Farmers market (and some other random events and stands) use this gigantic parking lot. Again... it's gigantic and it overflows into other gigantic parking lots... You'll be fine. Buying tickets -- you can buy them online, from a real-life human, or from a self-serve kiosk just inside the main doors. We've had issues with the kiosk thing in the past, and the online system charges you a fee ($2.50 per ticket), so we usually order at the human. They no longer user the windows inside the first door, and you have to go in to the second doors to buy tickets. Not sure what that's about - the old way made more sense to me... but it's whatever. Maybe it's an off-hours thing, too... who knows. Oh, one cool thing about their website, though, is you can pick your seats ahead of time and see how full shows are. Solid intel. The concession stand is very well stocked and always has enough people - you have the usuals: popcorn and candy... drinks: soda, icees, etc... and alcohol (beer, bottles, and mixed drinks)... ice cream... hot stuff (pretzels, pizza, nachos...). It's solid. They've always given me good service - it's quick, efficient, and clean... they get you moving and try not to let long lines occur. The theaters are nice and always surprisingly clean. I don't think I've ever had that "sticky feet" experience where you walk through some old soda spill. So... it's good. We often choose to go to the theater that has the big red, electric recliner chairs. This is a nice little comfort and well spread out - that just makes the experience extra good. I think they have multiple screens with the recliners and if I understand correctly, only the "DFX" and "DBOX" experiences are more expensive. DFX... I've never really paid attention to the difference, and I've never done DBOX. Generally, prices are: Matinees -- $13.25 for adult, $10.00 for child/senior... Evening -- $15.50 for adult, $12.50 for child/senior... and then the "premium experiences" (or whatever you'd call them) are $3.50 more for DFX and $8.00 more for DBOX. Then, like I said... $2.49 more for the service charge if you order online (yikes! not a fan).
