Looks like a nice campus, off of a busy street, which likely gets easy access by public…read moretransportation as well. Here for a one-day Baha'i conference, we were hosted nicely with water, coffee and tea service. Lunch was provided through catering (maybe through the school?) which consisted of a selection of boxed sandwiches (Turkey, ham, roast beef, vegetarian). The boxes included a fruit (apple or orange) and a small bag of potato chips (Lays BBQ, Lays salted, Doritos Cool Ranch) and a small chocolate chip cookie. The space we were in - the gymnasium - was large and well-ventilated, including the capacity for air conditioning. Tall ceilings (presumably good for the sporting events held here), bleachers that can be pushed up against the walls and out of the way to make room for the 10-seater tables and chairs for the 500 participants present at the conference. A stage, mic setup and projector/screen were also made available and utilized during the event. Separate rooms were made available for additional spaces to take children, hold classes/breakout sessions, etc. Overall, a great space and experience.

I've been at EvCC for at least a few years now and I don't recommend coming here. After my first…read morequarter, my advisor had me register for an advanced class, ended up getting dropped from it due to a prerequisite class I wasn't told about. In the summer of 2023, I had to drop my courses due to an family emergency and when I went back for the Fall, I had to go to the Cashier's office to see if I got a refund of my tuition. I had to wait TWO AND HALF HOURS just to be told it was transferred for my Fall tuition. This last spring, I thought it would be my final quarter with all of my credits, but I was dead wrong. My current advisor did not tell me I had to take ANOTHER COURSE just to graduate and straight up lied to me when we first talked six months before the spring quarter. Now I have to wait till the spring of 2026 just to graduate and have my associates. Also, the tuition and the parking permit prices are stupidly ridiculously expensive. $55 for a quarterly parking permit taking more than 9 credits? No thank you! I'm happy to get out of this college when I do!

Several reasons why you should avoid learning and testing here. Here are top 3;…read more1. They give different bikes for different users. Some are antiques and some are modern bmw sports ride. This will give some users advantage and put others at disadvantages the speedometers won't work on some so you are left guessing how fast to go. And they WILL FAIL YOU if you go too slow. So learn to read speed magically. 2. They ALSO test against the different bikes. If you are LUCKY and get a nice bike you Pass! If you don't, you WILL fail. Why? They won't say what the time limit is But you are tested against time. So all nice BMW bikes get to pass whilst all other bikes, most of them fail. 3. You WILL NOT be prepped for the test. The test has different criteria you should meet than what you practice for And just found out..PAY 50$ to retake endorsement test and guess what... they will TRAIN YOU for the test so you can have prestige runs till you get to a point where you can pass. Apparently this is not included in the Basic course worth 350$. Why? They don't have an answer. So expect to pay another 50$ and hope you pass then cause they got the money! Attached is the bike that won't tell you how fast it goes and sounds way too loud so you feel you are fast only to be told you are WAY too slow. It is not good at turning Or curves so EVERY other bike has shorter turning angle Except this and other these kinds.

First of all, the woman who owns this business and provides the resume services is very friendly…read moreand professional, She seemed to really listen to what I was looking for in a cover letter and a resume. However, the final product was not a quality product, and was certainly not worth the money paid. To be fair, she did ask for feedback before it was completed, but for the amount of money charged, I felt she could have done a better job. There were some punctuation and grammatical errors in the resume, which I did not realize until later. I would expect more for $300.

Rating 0 I had to mark one star to post review…read more PLEASE read this review before you make the mistake I did. Well, were do I start, in the very beginning paid $30.00 on line for the thirty - minute consultation. Then received an e-mail shortly after words, stating I will see you tomorrow. When I made the consultation appointment for two weeks later, I called marquis right away and explained to her it was not for tomorrow, it's in two weeks. Marquis apologized and stated, she hired a new person and was going to let her go, that this was not her only mistake. Okay, I thought this was not marquis fault, I do understand how things can happen. Now here it all goes, two weeks later my wife and I went to the thirty- minute appointment to talk about the resume, references and cover letter and give her the work sheet marquis wanted filled out. I gave her three example resumes with work, that I do. I filled out the contract and it was agreed that the rough draft, references, cover letter would be done in one week and the contract states by 5:30 p.m. Well Marquis called that evening at 5:30 p.m. stating she needed one more day, ok what can I do now, but wait one day. Ok fine. The next day, I got my rough draft, cover letter, references and Marquis's work sheet, stating make any changes and send it back to me. Well there was so many misspelled words, wrong name of company, lower case letters, when they should have been capitalized, and some words needed to be lower case, comma's in wrong spot and no periods. Marquis told my wife she could not add my cell number to my resume, that there was not enough room. My wife told her my husband and I were not happy and all she did was start screaming. You could not even get a word in edge wise. I should not have to look for corrections on the resume etc. and tell marquis what to correct, she states she is a professional resume writer, NOT. When you find over twenty- six mistakes just on the resume alone. What she does not have spell check. I paid a total $379.00 to have these done, for what!! My wife redid my whole resume after watching a REAL professional guy on line, name Andrew La Citvia. Don't waste your time or money here do it yourself. After my wife redid mine, and I applied for a job, I received an e-mail to come in for an interview the next day. I really wish, I could show you the difference between the two resumes. Take my advice and run and keep your money!!!!

After a loooonnnggg educational hiatus, my dad sat me down about a year and a half ago and said, "I…read moredon't care what you do, but you need to pick a major, and finish it." I chose something Business related because the company I work for would foot the bill for part of it, and, having been a nursing major, and an art history major my first round of college, after doing a few pre-requisite classes at a community college I was back in the University game. Coincidently, as it turned out, I am great at Business, and have settled into my majors very naturally. CWU-Lynnwood offers a great alternative to the expensive cost of the only other local public university (You know, the one with the icky purple and gold colors) Here, for a fraction of the price, I get a quality education from great faculty, and all the support services of the full university in Ellensburg. CWU-Lynnwood has a computer lab and library services, as well as an on-site writing lab for students. In addition to all the services offered by the University, students can partake and participate in any services or events offered by Edmonds Community College as well (since the school is located in it's own building on the Edmonds CC campus) Students can purchase textbooks and even collegiate clothing in the Edmonds CC bookstore. While the majors available for study are some what limited, they do offer some great choices for students. I am currently finishing a double-major in Accounting and Business Administration, while also completing a minor in Economics and a certification program in Supply Chain Management. All that for less than what I'd have paid at the alternative schools available to me. Seems like a savvy business decision to me, so my education is already paying off! And I have no doubt that this combination of education will provide me with a more than adequate future salary in the business world. Other available majors include teaching certification, IT and Law & Justice. CWU-Lynnwood also offers one graduate program, for Accounting majors, which meets the requirements for the fifth year of credits that is required to sit for the CPA exam. The school has clubs and programs in place to help generate a sense of community on campus, and loyalty to the school, with a student leadership program that plans fun events for students on a regular basis. For Accounting majors the student accounting society puts on annual networking socials for students to meet with firms in the area, and the school has staff in place to help students find internships to help them further their education, and professional goals. I could not be happier with my choice of CWU Lynnwood to finish my degrees. I feel my professors care for me, my education, and my professional development, and are more than adequately preparing me for grad school (which I'll start in Fall of 2012) And I've made some wonderful friends in my courses and a few just hanging out in the student lounge area studying. AND the cherry on top: you get a free Snohomish County bus system pass just for being a student. What a deal!

I started my undergrad degree here in January 2007 and will be graduating in June 2008 (I take 15…read morecredits/quarter). Being that I am majoring in Accounting and I work full time, it is really helpful that CWU offers a lot of night classes so I can complete my degree close to home. The tuition is affordable and one can take out student loans if need be. I've only had a couple of instructors that I didn't particulary care for, but overall I think the faculty is excellent. For the location, price and quality of education, I have to give this place 5 starts. Let's face it: Getting into UW's business school is extremely competitive and even if you do, they do not offer night classes. Seattle University has a great reputation, but not good enough to spend 30k a year on tuition, etc.
