During the initial walkthrough of the venue, when booking a room here for my wedding and reception,…read moreI noted that the walls were not soundproof, and one could hear music being played in adjacent rooms. I asked if it would be an issue during our short 10-15 minute ceremony and was told by the manager that everything would be taken care of and she would make sure the ceremony was not interrupted, and any large parties would hold off on the noise for the short time it took us to complete the ceremony. On the day of our wedding, in the middle of the ceremony, wall shaking music began to play in the next room over as we were doing our vows, causing lines to be forgotten and guests to be unable to hear. We actually stopped and told the manager to figure out what was going on, to which she shook her phone at us as if to imply she was going to make a call, but did not. Perhaps she was simply texting. The music did not stop. Upon confronting management about the issue we were greeted with excuses as opposed to solutions, such as: seating people took too long and the manager had to reseat two handicap individuals after they were placed in the front row, as if seating was more important to her than being able to actually hear the ceremony. We were also told that the mother next door was getting very upset she had to hold off on the music for her daughter's birthday party, as if we are expected to show some sort of remorse for the other customer, despite their poor planning, and accept the fact that I could barely hear myself think when standing on the altar. Do not book a room here. Management was disorganized, unaccommodating, and rude. Our once in a lifetime ceremony was ruined not only for myself and my wife, but all of our guests.

We hired Happy Brides Studio to capture the videos of our wedding day. We paid $3350 for a…read morehighlight video, ceremony, toasts, dances, and the raw footage. I had a call with Odil, the owner, ahead of booking. Since he edits the videos and hires local shooters, I expressed concern but he assured me that the videos on their site showcase that all their shooters film in the same style and we were in good hands. The day of the wedding, I reached out asking where the videographers were as at that point they were 45 minutes late and I hadn't heard from them at all. I got a text that said they would arrive soon, but no explanation or apology. So, we lost an hour of filming to start. 18 weeks later, we got our videos back. Our highlight video looks nothing like the videos on their site, and a lot of important moments and details are missing. We then watched the ceremony video and most of it is out of focus. The cameras are constantly moving around, never settling long enough to enjoy the moment. There were two camera people but they were both filming my husband as I was walking down the aisle, so there isn't footage of that moment. Since they were an hour late, they had to use our cocktail hour to get the drone shots that were part of our package, so there is no footage of us with our bridal party. This wasn't something they discussed, they just made that choice for us. Other than the drone shots, there are no other wide shots of the whole day. Everything is super close up, so you never really see the amazing space our ceremony and reception are in. Thankfully we had an awesome photographer who did get photos of it. They also never got any shots of my dress. It was there, on the hanger, in the room where they got shots of my shoes, but, just never the dress. But perhaps the worst part of all is how they have treated us after the fact. We wrote them, telling them how disappointed we were in how things turned out. We didn't ask for any money back, we weren't trying to get anything out of them. Just really bummed and expressing our disappointment. They never replied. So, I posted a comment on their IG a week later, saying our video wasn't what they advertised and we were disappointed by it and the fact that they didn't reply to us. They "unpinned" the post, so it would get buried in their feed, but still didn't reply to us. So I left another comment, saying just that. They deleted my comments and then re-pinned their post. Still never actually acknowledging me. So, I guess their version of customer service is to just ghost their clients once they have your money. At the very least, I hope I can prevent this from happening to someone else by posting this. Please do yourself a favor and steer clear of them.
