All the trees and grass space in the back is so pretty, but in early spring the pollen literally falls off the trees onto your body while you're walking around events. I love the use of both indoor and outdoor space though and it's all pretty easy to navigate.

The setting with all the candles, and the 4 performers was perfect. The talent of these 4 women was remarkable. The staff was all very friendly and helpful. The one thing I didn't like was the parking situation. There was just not enough parking for all the patrons so it was a bit chaotic. And this is not a venue problem, but a people problem. I don't understand how people come to events like this and choose to talk throughout the performance. It ruins it for everyone around them. After 4 songs, I finally turned around and asked if they would please be quiet so we could all enjoy the music.

We opted to have everything outside but had the inside building available for those that wanted to escape the heat. It was so fun coming back sharing this special space with our kids and reliving the most magical memories.

The rooftop is perfect to mingle with a spectacular view of Armature works, Hillsborough River and the downtown skyline. I'm not sure if each client individually gets to choose the caterer or if it is standard when planning the event but the catering was phenomenal. I unfortunately did not get the name of who was servicing the event but the walk around appetizers and finger foods, the huge array of cheeses and meats for the charcuterie board and the buffet dinner were really good. The drinks were also flowing, service was very friendly. Inside is a well air conditioned meeting space with a projector and a decent amount of chairs. The restroom is conveniently located for both the rooftop and conference area. The lady in charge called me back about two days later and instead of telling me the availability on the date I requested she tried to sell me on another date. Her exact words were "who has a shower on a Sunday? Why not have one on Friday?" Umm because people work until 5 or 6 and the last thing they want to do on a Friday is go to a bridal shower. She then told me that we could meet the next day anytime after 4:45pm and I said perfect because my mom works until 5 and it will take her a little bit to get there since she'll be fighting traffic. She said it was fine, mind you my mom called shortly after just to introduce herself and my mom had told her the same thing about being there after 5. I got to the location 10 after 5 and my mom was 5 minutes behind me. Before I got out of the car the lady I spoke with told me I was late and that I told her I would be there at 4:45 when I never did, I also told her that I'm sorry but I thought both me and my mom said we would be there after 5. She said I was snippy and that I should've called to tell her I was going to be late. People, just a side note: I never said I would be there anytime before 5 and she insisted that I did. Even if I did, I'm the customer and when is it ok for her to talk to a customer like that? I usually never get upset at stuff like this, I've worked in both retail and restaurant and I get that people have bad days but this lady was just plain rude. I told her that it was ok that we would find another venue anyway and that I wouldn't want to do business with someone like that. So if that lady ever retires or gets fired I'll try and do business there again but if not there are plenty of other places. Sorry it was long folks.
