We had the pleasure of attending a wedding at this beautiful venue. It is a hidden work of art just…read morenorth of Dade City. The route to the barn takes you through winding country roads of Old Florida. When you pull into the property, it immediately delights the eyes as the barn is just perfect in the middle of a field that has huge oak trees. The ceremony was setup underneath one of the pieces of natures artwork of an oak tree. White chairs and wood benches were partially under to. As the sun was starting to set, the ceremony began. No matter where the photographers stood, there was an amazing shot. After the ceremony, the guests were guided to the cocktail hour on the opposite side of the gigantic barn. High tops were nicely decorated. Drinks and finger food was displayed on two long tables. My kids along with many others were enjoying the wood swing under another oak tree. The grass was just the right length to not mess up your attire. Guests were having a wonderful time taking photos of the landscape. Now the moment we were all waiting for, entrance into the barn was well-worth the wait. When you walk in, the barn opens up into wood ceilings with huge chandeliers that romantically create the mood for the event. At the back of the barn, on the wall was a white sheer curtain lit was tiny lights. In front of that was the bridal party's table. In the back right corner was the bar. The back left corner was the DJ. In the middle of the barn were big round tables and several long tables. Everyone was allowed to pick their seating family style. The restrooms were decorated and extremely clean. The staff was extremely friendly and attentive to the guests. (I do not know if the venue has its own staff or if they were brought in with a caterer.) It was a wedding from dreams and fairy tales. Everything was perfect from beginning to end. I wish I had taken more pictures of the venue but I spent so much time taking pictures of my family at the venue. She was patient and showed me her final touches, sent an invoice which made for easy payment. She also was kind enough to bring the gift to a neighbor when the recipients were not home. I cannot say enough about this business. Top notch service and satisfaction when you are in need of a nice gift for anyone that has everything, or want to surprise a group, or just want to be a sweet giver. I recently attended a wedding at Legacy Lane Weddings in Brooksville. It was an absolutely stunning…read moresetting for someone's big day. The wedding ceremony took place outside under a large tree. The tree is located to the left of the White House, a large plantation style home, that serves as the "Bridal House." This house includes a pool and is large enough to accommodate the bride and her bridesmaids as they prepare for the event. After the ceremony we moved to a pavilion (called The Legacy Pavilion). Here we listened to music and ate some food while pictures of the wedding party and family were taken. The pavilion was beautifully decorated and shaded (despite the four thirty wedding time, it was still pretty hot out). The reception took place in the property's carriage house. It was once a six-stable barn which has been transformed into an air-conditioned reception space. It had vaulted ceilings and easily housed all the people that attended. The space had plenty of room for guest tables, a dessert location, a photo booth, a bride, groom and bridesmaid seating area, food setup, bar and dance floor. The venue included valet parking, which made finding a place to park your car a non issue. It also had some outdoor games (corn hole) that one could play while waiting for pictures to be taken. The property, according to the bride, also includes lots of on site cabins that family members and wedding guests could stay in. I didn't venture back to that part of the property so I can neither confirm nor deny these cabins. Legacy Lane Weddings in Brooksville was an incredible place for a wedding. If you get the privilege of attending a wedding here, you will not be disappointed.

I am the mother of the bride. My daughter had her wedding at Saxon Manor in December 2025, and I am…read morewriting this review because what happened to our family needs to be known. The catering failures on her wedding day were numerous and inexcusable. We had carefully selected a menu after going through TWO tastings, the first of which was so unsatisfactory that we actually asked to bring in our own caterer. We were persuaded to give them a second chance after being told a new chef had been hired. We went back, had a second tasting, and selected our menu: chicken skewers and a dip and cheese platter for appetizers, and for dinner, caesar salad, plain rice pilaf, steak bites, au gratin potatoes, and salmon. Here is what was actually served at my daughter's wedding: * Instead of salmon, they served chicken. * Instead of au gratin potatoes, they served green beans and zucchini, something no one wanted or enjoyed. * Instead of plain rice pilaf, it came out with cranberries in it. * They ran out of chicken skewers during the appetizer hour. Many of our guests did not get any. That is three wrong dinner items and a shortage on the appetizers, on my daughter's wedding day. The manager on site (Nick) acknowledged the mistakes and apologized, and told us the owner would call to make it right. When the owner called me, I was shocked by his behavior. He tried to justify serving green beans by saying they had received a large shipment and had extras lying around, as if my daughter's wedding was a place to use up surplus produce. He claimed he personally witnessed plenty of skewers and suggested our guests may have been overeating. He made an insinuation that my daughter was somehow at fault by saying "I don't want to say your daughter was at fault, but." He stopped there and gave no reason whatsoever how or why the bride would be at fault here (because there is none). When I asked him what do you mean my daughter is at fault, he changed the subject. And when I calmly said this appeared to be a breach of contract, he became loud, aggressive, and belligerent, repeatedly yelling "you played me." I was so uncomfortable with his conduct that I ended the call and told him all future communication must be in writing or with a male (attorney) family member. I then sent a detailed email to the owner and the venue documenting everything and asking for appropriate compensation. They never replied. Not once. Months went by in complete silence. It was only after my daughter filed a BBB complaint and posted a review that they acknowledged any of this, and even then, their response only mentioned one of the four problems and offered no compensation whatsoever. If you are considering Saxon Manor for your wedding or any event, please think carefully. When things go wrong, and they may, this is how they handle it.
