One of my besties turned 60 last week and a few of us decided to buy her a floral arrangement to mark the occasion. I chose The Flower Box based on proximity and Yelp! Reviews. I'm giving them a 3 star review because some of the fault lies with me. I called on a Friday early afternoon and the woman on the phone was helpful. I explained that my friend was turning 60 and asked if they could deliver an arrangement the next day, on her birthday. She said they could. She asked for my price range and said it was doable. Here's where it gets tricky. She asked what kind of arrangement I wanted. I'm not a flower expert by any means, so I just told her I wanted something happy. She asked if I wanted roses, and I said not really, maybe just a couple. That was all the direction I gave her. She spoke to the owner and they said they'd pull it together for me. I called my friend later that afternoon to make sure she was going to be home on Saturday, the day of delivery, and of course, she said no, she was leaving Friday night and wouldn't be back until Sunday. I called Flower Box back and asked them to delay the delivery until Monday, which they were happy to do. The flowers were delivered early afternoon on Monday, just as expected, with no issues or problems. Except that the arrangement they delivered did not meet my expectations. I don't consider a deep purple arrangement to be "happy." True, I didn't specify, but c'mon, it looked like an appropriate arrangement for a funeral. I'm thinking it would have yellows, whites, pinks, peach, etc. Not just white and purple, with a touch of pink roses. And to me, the flowers that were selected were not price appropriate. I think I could have gotten this from Publix for at least half the price if not less. It just wasn't special. They didn't even put a ribbon around the vase. I definitely overpaid! The reason to go to a flower shop is that they usually employ floral arrangers, artists who make the arrangement pop. That didn't happen here and I'm so very disappointed. Lesson learned - next time I'll go to a shop and select the flowers I want. read more

My sister sent me flowers for my birthday on Wednesday. Only two roses were in good shape. The others had partially opened and drooped the next day. These pics are both upon arrival Wednesday, and how they looked this morning. My sister should have saved her money and gotten flowers from Publix, but she's not local.Publix flowers always last a week and more. Very disappointed these weren't super fresh when they arrived and fully gave up by Saturday. Not even 3-days. Watered daily. I'm sure she spent a pretty penny and it was a waste of money. read more

My husband has been ordering flowers from here for 2 + years. The quality, filling and flower selection in the arrangement has declined over the last year. The vases have become cheap glass vases from the Dollar tree and no one even bothers to remove the $1.25 price tag on it. For the price, which is always over $100+ I am not impressed and don't look forward to my flower surprises anymore. read more

I stopped in today, on Valentine's Day, to pick up a bouquet of flowers while in route to Jacksonville. The store was slammed with orders, and could not help me until 2 PM. I couldn't wait, so the florist recommended another business along my route that could assist me with my request. I stopped in Bushnell and the florist had everything I needed. Although they didn't earn any revenue from that sale, they have earned my highest level of respect for the outstanding customer service that they provided in my time of need. I ordered the flower arrangement with the purple flowers and Christmas evergreens and pine cones for my friend who faced a serious operation instead without notification or choice to choose something else if the first arrangement wasn't available, they sent a completely different arrangement than what I spent $95 on and it wasn't pretty at all. I sent them an email to question the difference but apparently it didn't matter as I did not get a response. I will not order from this florist ever again. DO NOT and I mean DO NOT order from the Flower Box...The owner Wendy is extremely rude and does not have the qualifications of a florist these are the flowers my mother got for her birthday delivery ...wilted in a huge vase that hung over the vase with No water... I added water to vase...When I called to complain about how the arrangement was displayed and sent to my house she blamed it on my uncle who ordered them... OK so blame it on the customer who sees a picture online that looks completely different than what I received at my house this is a disgrace of an arrangement and should never have left her florist looking like this . She obviously does not take pride in her work or back up her services... When I asked her to come pick up the flowers she refused and hung up on me. Terrible experience with this place, and I definitely recommend you spend your money elsewhere. Birthday flowers were taken to the wrong address. When the flowers arrived at the correct address, the recipient had left for the day. To correct the issue, I recommended that the flowers be delivered to the home of the recipient, but I was denied that request because the distance was too far. The flowers sat in an office all weekend and pretty much looked like garbage on Monday. Grow your own flowers and make the delivery yourself before using this place. read more

I have gotten beautiful arrangements here as gifts but last week I ordered my first arrangement and it was for a very special event, my Mom's Celebration of Life. I picked up the flowers and I should have just left them there, they were an embarrassment. I was just so shocked. I got in my car and cried. My friends and family must have paid a fortune for the flowers they sent me because what I paid for what I got was ridiculous. I didn't have time to do it, but I stopped everywhere to get flowers to make my own arrangement. Talk about stress! The flowers at Sam's Club for $15 were amazing. While deployed in Afghanistan I ordered flowers for my wife on Mothers Days, and this is the local shop they use for their delivery. My wife never got the order and found a note from the Flower Box on our door claiming they had missed us. Later I called The Flower Box where I spoke to the lady who owns this hop and asked about my order, she claimed she had delivered the order. When I questioned her for leaving a note and no flowers she then claimed she left my package at another house and marked it delivered to 1-800-FLOWERS. I then stated, then you didn't deliver it you gave it away to someone else. Her answer was a very abysmal, "Well I guess they will be enjoying some flowers." My response was, "Well then I guess I am owed a refund." She quickly cut me off by saying, "Not from me!" and she hung up. If this is the value she places on any customer regardless of who they are or how hard their situation is, then I for one warn everyone to stay away from here. This store didn't put me through that, it had more reasonable fees and it was highly rated (on another website), so I went with it. I cannot THANK Wendy and the Flower box for not only the last 5 years of beautiful flower arrangements and deliveries but for being so kind and accommodating when I needed it most! I order flowers from the Flower box every year for my daughters birthday (amongst all other events, I only order from the Flower Box) but since I spent the weekend before with my daughter, celebrating her birthday, I missed to send her flowers on her actual birthday day! I called from out of town to order a live orchid for my sister whose husband had passed. The girl was friendly and described the two colors she had in bloom.
