Ishita was a wonderful wedding planner. She came in once we booked our venue and helped us handle all our vendors. She gave AMAZING recommendations - DJ, florist, catering, all of which blew it out of the park. All of our vendors were so thankful for her detailed timelines, which we also shared with our parents and bridal party to lots of kudos. The organization and attention to detail were very much appreciated as well. More than anything, she was an excellent sounding board - telling us what elements mattered more than others, helping us through multiple design and decor meetings and changes, and being present on the day of despite having to juggle so much behind the scenes. On the sangeet / wedding day itself, Ishita and the entire team came through for us so many times. TLDR: Ishita and her team are AMAZING! We cannot recommend Eventspell enough! We started working with Ishita nearly a year before our actual wedding and she went above and beyond every step of the way. She knows what it takes to put a successful event on, especially a large one like ours (~300 guests). She pays attention to details, anticipates problems and addresses them ahead of time, communicates effectively, and knows how to work with different people and personalities. Most importantly, we weren't her only client (duh, because she's great!), but she made us feel so taken care of. We can't stress how important that was to us and how thankful we are for her and her team for that. The day of our wedding was a breeze for us as well. Her team was personally by our side throughout the day to hold things, get us water, pin our outfits, etc. - all so we could just focus on being present and enjoying every second. We have no idea what went on behind the scenes, which is exactly how it should be. Many of our guests commented on how well organized everything was as well. Our venue's management team was terrible to work with leading up to the wedding (and we assume the day of as well), but she managed them well and our event went on better than we ever expected. I was in Arizona doing PA school, going on rotation, studying for exams and boards and she was in Orange County but she made it all come together with the distance and hectic schedule. I was able to successfully finish school, start my new job, and plan my wedding all because of Ishita! She makes the scheduling and timeline according to the bride, groom, and family. She takes into consideration everyone's style, values, budget, and feedback. During the actual events, I was able to fully enjoy them. From day 1, before we even booked Ishita, she was extremely reliable, helpful, and communicative. We immediately knew we were in the best hands. We were so nervous to plan a COVID era wedding given all the horror stories we had read (e.g. most weddings in a year since 1970!!), but she put at us ease immediately. She always answered every question honestly and were never afraid to tell us when something wouldn't work out (even if we didn't always want to hear it!) and worked with us to make sure our visions came to life. If it weren't for her knowledge and connections, we would have never met most of our vendors. Ishita became more than a wedding planner to us, she became a trustworthy friend, somebody we could share anything with, free of judgement. I can only imagine how busy she was both professionally and personally, but we never felt like we were "just another client." Nearly a year ago, we met Ishita at a friend's wedding and there was a moment after seeing how badass her team was when Jeff and I looked at each other & immediately said "we need her."
