0/10 would not recommend this place. My sister had her wedding here last month and the staff and owners were very unprofessional. Restrooms were still getting worked on day of wedding and the AC was not working. They were very rude and lacked communication skills. PUBLIC WARNING: DO NOT BOOK at events MoHa Ranch If you're planning a wedding or event, stay far away from MoHa Ranch. This venue is run by dishonest owners and unprofessional staff who have no business taking people's money. Our wedding experience was completely ruined by their disorganization, lies, and lack of basic respect. And they still haven't returned our deposit over a month later. Here's what really happened: The AC in the venue and women's restroom didn't work. We had to ask Denise and her mother, who are referred to as Sherrie's "assistants", to turn it on. That's when they finally admitted it was broken. They told our DJ to shut everything down at 12 AM even though we paid for the party to go until 1 AM. That was clearly stated in the contract. Then they came in at 11:30 PM, while we still had an hour and a half left, and started cleaning one side of the venue that was already empty. They made our family feel like they had to start wrapping up early. That's beyond disrespectful. They lied and said the bartenders took their trash bags. But we witnessed Denise's mother take them back. Then they told us we had to bring our own, clean everything up, and reset the venue ourselves. That was never in the contract. The day before the wedding, they randomly demanded we resubmit insurance and certification forms we had already turned in. They were unorganized from day one. When we arrived at 3:45 PM, Denise and her mother were still cleaning the restrooms. That was 15 minutes before the wedding started. Completely unprepared. Communication with Sherrie, one of the owners, has been a joke. She gave us excuse after excuse. First it was "we'll get back to you," then nothing. And Randy, the other owner, stays quiet and plays dumb while dodging accountability. They even lied to people and said they were siblings when they're actually married. That's just weird and shady. Every single review says the same thing. "They ignore you. They don't give the deposit back. They make you do everything yourself. Then they disappear." We were respectful. We handled our part. We gave them too much grace. But they failed us. So now the truth is going public. If you're thinking about booking this venue, don't do it. If you're a vendor, don't work with them. If you've had an experience with Randy, Sherrie, Denise, or her mother, speak up. Let this be your warning. They messed with the wrong couple. read more

To begin, we got there 15 minutes before 4pm when our wedding started and Dennise the coordinator and her mom were still cleaning the restrooms.... Then the AC was not working in the venue and also not working in the women's restroom. When we asked about it, they admitted they weren't working so we asked one of the owners Randy if he could have someone or himself come look at it and when offered him food and of course he says "yes I will send someone to look at it" comes in and tells my mother in law "it's working" when it's not and even takes the food we offered. The whole night was SUPER hot in the venue and nothing was done about it. We even got blamed for messing with the controls for the AC and that was why it was not working. (Never did anyone touch the AC controls) They stated we had to clean at the end of the night even though that was not in the contract but yet we still cleaned and now they're refusing to give us our deposit back and even claiming we damaged the property and didn't clean up after ourselves when yet again the only thing stated in the contract was for us to take our decorations, gifts, and everything we brought and we did all that. Sherrie the other owner constantly gave me excuses on when she was going to give us our deposit back and here we are a month later with NOTHING. Please, please, PLEASE do not get scammed like we did! The owner of Events at Moha Ranch in Caddo Mills, Tx is dishonest and scams people out of money. After some research, we have learned that the owner of this business has owned several other businesses, in which she and her husband provided poor service, kept people's money that they promised to refund, were involved in multiple law suits, and have had 2 or more businesses involuntarily dissolved. As for Moha Ranch, we booked our daughter's quinceanera through them a year in advance. As soon as we paid the first payment of $1,500 (which we had to work very hard and save for months for) she started throwing new fees at us that were not agreed upon in the quote we had been given. Immediately (one day to be exact) after making the depsosit and first payment, I cancelled the event with her and requested a refund. It was very difficult to get in touch with her, but eventually she did promise a "partial refund", which was also not part of the agreement. There was never a signed contract, just a price sheet, which it appeared she had altered the refund policy on, making it hard to read. However, we NEVER RECEIVED ANY MONEY BACK. It has now been a month since requesting a refund through text, email, phone call, and cashapp (the method we paid). She is now avoiding us completely. We have tried repeatedly to get in touch with her and she dodges our calls and texts. It is heartbreaking that she took this money not only from us, but from our daughter. I truly hope that no one else has to experience this. read more

Sherrie has made excuse after excuse about refunding overcharges for my daughter's wedding reception back in September 2023. The night of the reception there was a gentleman who either lives on or next to the property carrying a firearm, was drunk, and yelling at guests for parking too close to his large RV. Spoke with Sherrie again today and was asked to meet her there at 6 to pick up the refund. Guess what...she never showed up and blocked my number. Very unprofessional. read more
