The Art Awakenings program was so successful at offering its clients healing and hope ,that it became well known throughout the country. So much in fact that the then vice presidents wife Mrs. Pence paid us a visit one day. Well since Resilient Health has taken over Art Awakenings has been cut into pieces. Important programs have been and are being taken away. The ratio of studio workers (counselors) to clients has dwindled ,and the doors have been slamed in our faces. I have driven over 20 miles for therapy only to be turned away without prior reason. This is very frustrating and depressing, and for a person with a severe mental illness like bipolar depression ,deadly. I can't for the life of me understand how they can do such things and get away with it . I don't know how many others were kicked out early or showed up to a locked facillity on 4/5/2024 but I hope they all got home safely. So be careful if Art Awakenings is being recommended to you for behavioral health because although Resilient Health wants to boast about Art Awakenings being a great thing ,it is all just a muse and the clients there are being neglected .
