In a place where people are seeking mental help and social services, you'd think there would just be a little bit of compassion and care while assisting people who are completely new to this type of situation. I was kindly referred by the police to this facility to seek petitioning inquiries and advocacy for a family member. With all of the overwhelming emotions and heaviness I was already experiencing-- the lack of professionalism, ethical leadership and condescension I experienced, it made me feel worse than I already did. "Nathan", the front desk rep. & ironically, the other representatives name, "Karen" were extremely rude and unprofessional. Talk about utter lack of everything. Funny I have to post this a 2nd time but I will. Again lack of control, communication, empathy and everything. How does one not do anything about a 75 year old man jerking off to a 20 year old? How do they not do anything after it happening 3 times? He wrote her 2 notes and his phone number. Talk about sexual harassment. Also called about probably 15 time and only got through about 3 times with each being put through to their "Care Coordinators" ultimately ending up being hung up on or put on hold for 5+ minutes and not picking up at all. For a state sponsored facility this place really screams incompetence and neglect. Should this facility get shut down? Absolutely. DO NOT send anyone you care about here, they will not care for you properly and will neglect nor keep you in the loop about anything. Take this down again I don't care but there proof in the pudding. I will come after this place with a lawyer if they force my hand and I WILL WIN. Don't test me. This place cares about none of their patients, just getting past the day since they all seem so miserable to be there. I was pationed by my husband ,bche told the police that I was a danger to myself and to my family I was picked up by an officer and told I was going to RI,he want trough my phone and deleted things. Then when I got to the place I was physically assaulted and then after a traumatic incident I was ask to relive it Staff played mind game with me to make me feel as if I was too paranoid I was snapped at by staff and treated by some very rudely . Filed a petition for a family member who was in an active severe manic episode. Family member threatened the life of another family member. The staff at RI never called the petitioner, or any of the witnesses on the petition, nor any of the family members to learn more about the incident or to find out who the mentally ill family member was as a stable person. They were extremely misinformed on how HIPAA works and told family that family was not legally able to share any info about the patient, which is untrue. The facility was not legally able to share about the patient, which no one was asking them to disclose, but the family could legally share anything that they wanted and they could listen and still be in compliance with HIPAA. The staff at the facility refused to involve anyone on the petition nor any family members. They allowed the patient to manipulate them, ignored blatant signs and symptoms of mania because they did not know the patient and they discharged a dangerous patient back into society. This patient was not on a court ordered treatment, due to an error caused by Valleywise Maryvale. RI allowed a social worker from Community Bridges, who had ZERO legal authority due to no Court Order, to take the patient at discharge. RI did not verify if a court order was present. RI allowed information from a community bridges social worker, who also did not know the patient, to influence their decision to discharge the patient, with zero input from the petitioner, witnesses or family. Again, Community Bridges, nor RI had any authority to do such a thing, due to no court order being present. The mental health care system in this country is very broken, but it is facilities and staff like this that break it more and more every day making uneducated decisions that negatively affect the lives of the patient and their families. If you find yourself in need of mental health services, know your rights, know the laws and don't let facilities and staff such as this lie and manipulate you. read more

Law enforcement was quick to recommend a petition as a solution, while misleading people about the process, the length of time involved for all parties, and how it effectively relinquishes everyone's rights. This recommendation allowed the system to take control, creating both short- and long-term consequences for those involved. This facility exposes a troubling gap between the staff who treat patients respectfully and the decision-makers controlling petitions, evaluations, and discharge recommendations. The frontline staff are professional and respectful, but the system itself is deeply flawed. Patients are trapped in a guessing game with no clarity on when -- or if -- they will be released. Behind the scenes, decision-makers quietly compile observations, attempt to extract "verbal confessions" through generic assessments, or rely on third-party allegations (from those who initiated the petition) to justify court orders. This can result in patients being moved to another facility and potentially having their stay extended indefinitely. Licensed staff "recommend" extremely strong medications that can permanently alter neural pathways, create co-dependencies, or cause long-term side effects -- especially for those who have never needed them. Refusing these recommendations can be used as evidence that someone is a "risk," giving the system leverage to keep them in the process. Comply or else. People who genuinely need help deserve individualized care. Here, procedure and bureaucracy take priority over fairness, and standardized recommendations take precedence over listening to the patient. I witnessed patients in clear need of immediate psychiatric care, yet the one-size-fits-all approach subjects others to extremely manipulative processes. While the staff deserve credit for treating patients decently, the system itself is deeply harmful, manipulative, and potentially abusive. I cannot, in good conscience, recommend this facility. read more

nott wanna end up here. Was detained without an exact reason, the go around game of communications and gaslighting. Am I being arrested or am I free to go? 'I'm not being arrested we're just talking. But you're not free to go. If you do so or attempt continue walking wherever you were headed you will be detained don't do that. Was pressured to check myself in and do the right thing. Or wait in a cell for a trial and a judge. Tf??? 'Just do the right thing and 24 hours you'll be released...' well left me no choice, "voluntarily" checked myself in. (In)voluntary. This place is a feeling of eerie DOOM. One floor main room with 15-25 recliner chairs. ONE tv. No books. Only space to move about is those seem been there awhile, lord knows how long... random acts of zoomies observing people walk in circles for 5 mins some 15 minutes etc. The look of confusion, to a point bafflement as you see a lot people trying to process comprehend and understand what's going on here. Most the workers wear masks and move about very quick and stealthily from one locked office to another, max security doors left right center. Only possible escape would be timing perfect opportunity a worker is entering or exiting through has turned 2-3 seconds heavy ass door closing unlocked with code or card that's it. Full scale video camera monitoring 24/7, half the staff stands afar not close enough to talk but far enough monitor ostracize feel segregate being watched possibly toyed with you deep down wonder the same thing everyone else does in there but won't say so. Will I be stuck here forever? I cannot end up like that person.... Or that person... confused what to do why they're still there, almost hopelessness. You can tell a lot don't want to take the pharmaceuticals, but non compliance or any form of resistance questioning caution weariness is extreme fear laundered made a point, you sure you wanna go there, do that??? What do I mean. As in the eerie silences at times, disruptive outlasting individuals that trip out the entire room into observation shock or stillness and caution. Workers don't hesitate yelling berate announce be made known to everyone that someone is non complying. They'll joke in there, don't do as you're told, or questioning doing what you're told is the same as being non compliant. Ultimately the 2-5 private nurses that diagnose check you in are assigned your case hold the ultimate power to hold or discharge you. Talking to them is highly difficult as in no one there really wants to give anyone clear answers or definite time frame windows. Those that try plan accordingly to move forward and be discharged or left on a whim, like someone falling off an edge reaching out for a hand help thinking knowing believing that person undoubtedly got them wouldn't think twice grab em they'd do the same. It's a sense of a large group entirety of fear based laundering leaving most to freak out or be in a state of panic without knowing this or that. Just that void 50/50 wonder if this person helping you is good or bad deep down, how many people there are being drugged held up stuck without given or told a definite answer truth moving forward ultimately stripping patients of their trust or belief getting discharged or checked out feels more like a carrot on a stick and observing the helplessness or how patients are acting is truly a sorrow sad sad thing to see people literally begging the nurses when they walk by or through briskly, to be ignored. Ask the front desk and monitoring workers observers with iPads for answers or help and same merry go round they are given. Most know you're kinda fucked once there. Those still woke know we're all being duped to different levels of extent. read more

Never bring, commit, or let anyone be transferred here. They are horrible here. They sometimes knows if the person you need status on is there. They transfer you to the facility and they hang up or leave you on hold forever if we get through. You can't even get someone to tell you what the hell is going on. No COVID19 measure taken outside in the "waiting area" (no sanitizer, they don't come out to sanitize, no markers to be 6 ft apart, no direction or instructions, etc.) My loved one was admitted here involuntarily and it was hell. She was attacked by another patient, they did not have a walker so they gave her a wheelchair to push herself around, but it collapsed and she fell. They did not get her looked at until the next day in the afternoon. There are many other horrible things that happened. horrid. On intake, I was forced to lift my dress to a room full of strangers. I was not wearing underwear. they took my cell phone and did not write down any contact info so I was left there with zero outside communication. to go to the bathroom, I had to ask for the doors to be unlocked and the one they wanted to use was covered in urine and had no toilet paper. I had to wade through other peoples piss to use the toilet. while wearing hospital issued socks. I was gluten free so I was fed jello,'cottage cheese and hard boiled eggs while I was there. they didn't bother to get my blood prsssure meds unail night check when it was screaming high. their fix was an ativan and some Gatorade. I had my ass grabbed by. patient while on the phone at the nurses station. they didn't care. I could hear every med each patient was on. HIPAA much? I would suicide by cop before ever going there again. read more

This was one of the worst hospitals I've ever been to. I have medical trauma from being there. The staff is so quick to shoot a patient up. They refuse to let you make out going calls. They told me that they don't do COE or COT & petitioned me to go to Valleywise hospital. Their reason for the petition was not a sufficient reason which shows that the staff doesn't know what they're doing. They petitioned me by accusing I was in psychosis. I have never been in psychosis & even if I was that's not a valid reason. A regular voluntary hospital just stabilizes a patient in psychosis. They don't petition them. The staff is not trained in crisis intervention. They escalate conflict with patients & they are not caring people. The staff is confrontational. read more

My daughter was petitioned here. People are petitioned by the court and dropped off by the police, some surrender themselves. This is a 72 hour psych holding for people who are a danger to themselves and/or others. The front office and staff I've encountered were all very informative and helpful to the best of their abilities. Mind you, a lot of the people that come through are held against their will. It takes people with tough skin to work here. My daughter told me that she couldn't wash her hands when they used the restroom. Was given alcohol free sanitizer instead. So there are separate living rooms. 1 and 2. When she first got there she was in Living Room 1 - very irate people, felt dangerous in there. I'm guessing because she was a low-risk, she was transferred to Living Room 2 where it was much more calm, they had a patio and TV. She had a roommate that pissed and crapped herself all the time, so it made things unbearable. Some girl was also hogging the phone all the time. Phone calls are allowed from 9am-9pm. Getting transferred to the patient can be so difficult! The staff purposely don't answer the phones sometimes! Leaving messages on the voicemail never get relayed. You can drop them clothes, but no shoes, no strings on garments, no hardcover books. Food was horrible she said, but decent. She's picky. She said the staff were all nice to her because she didn't give anyone issues. When she was released, the doctor called me about meds, gave me after care advise. The follow ups are nice - they call for review of services and a counselor told me that she'd help me with seek other services for her for 30 days. read more

Have to keep calling back (more than 3 damn hours) to TRY and get information and my questions answered, to know what the hell is going on...even being on the release form! The care provider has been in a "meeting" that should've been done over an hour ago, when the front desk told me to call back to speak with him. Was supposedly still in the meeting when I called back (when I was told to) STILL NO CALL BACK... The front desk guy even went as far to come to the back (upset) to tell my husband that I need to stop calling or he'll be rude to me lmao. Looks like you shouldn't be in customer service if your feelings get involved and you can't hold yourself to a professional level being at WORK. One of the worst places I have ever seen and been too. I would NEVER recommend this place to any of my family or friends let alone my worst enemy. I went in there needing help and left feeling even worse about myself. The nurses or staff are absolutely deplorable. With the exception of a latina lady who worked the night shift almost all of their staff are unworthy of helping anyone. They degraded me, discussed my health and personal issues out loud in front of everyone. They talked about me and other patients in third person right in front of us. They had people sleeping in a freezing room on recliners because they did not have enough beds. They ran out of food. If I could give this disgusting horrid place zero stars I would. They even went as far as trying to tell people to stay away from me because I had covid-19. And that if I gave them any attitude they would purposefully extend my stay there and or send me off to a local hospital do I could rot away with the lie of me being infected. I DO NOT have covid-19, never did, nor was I exposed at any time with someone who had it. I strongly urge everyone to NOT use this place. I already filed a compliant with my insurance company and am now going to notify the state health board about how this place treated me and many others. This place only sees patients as a source of income. They do not care about your well-being or your mental state. And there were several staff members who made my stay extremely unbearable, and I promise that I will do whatever I can to expose those God awful people and that wretched place. read more

To those reading the comments: please understand most of these comments are from guests who were forced to be here anyway. The staff here does there best to maintain a positive atmosphere. Their willingness to help and talk with me showed they genuinely care. Two people stood out the most for me, that was Kyle and Sebastian. These guys took the time to talk to me when I felt hopeless and helped me come to the conclusion that I have more to live for then I previously thought. Kyle inspired me to peruse a career in Wildland firefighting lol he was very funny and never lost his smile I hope this comment actually gets read by somebody in upper management because these two were genuinely awesome. I found myself laying in a cot at RI appx. 2 years ago. I was in a life or death battle w/ meth. I credit the amazing staff at RI for where I am today. After 72 hours they told me I was free to go. I begged to stay, and help to find a inpatient drug rehab program. The next day I was on my way to Prescott to enter a 30 day program they helped line up for me. Had the folks at RI simply "done their job" I would probably be dead right now. I wish I got the names of the staff that helped me. Thanks, RI! read more

Staff made fun of the patients that needed help the most, as people would seek for medical help the staff would ignore them. All the staff seemed as they didn't care about the job or about actually helping, besides maybe 3-4 staff. My time there no help was provided, actually made it worse as there isn't anything/programs to get my mind off of what got me there in the first place. It was also a huge Hassle for them to let me call my mother. I had to ask several people to use the phone to contact her. As I went to see if I was stable enough to leave it didn't seem as a good system was in place to make sure that patients would be in a good position to leave. read more

horrible customer service, treats patients like prisoners, doesn't care enough to update people and makes you call them for updates/discharge orders. i had someone dear admitted here and it was terrible trying to talk to him or get updates. some of the staff were pleasant, but most were rude and inconsiderate. misinformation seems to be spread as i was told ROI wasnt signed, when i'd been told 3 times it WAS signed.. also, the person admitted that is dear to me was told that he already spoke to a provider but in fact did not, when he told them this they thought he was lying until they looked in his chart and realized he was telling the truth. thank god he was discharged only after 2 days.. read more

We brought my sister here to get help after a few years of struggling with addiction, mental health, and serious behavioral problems; she's an adult and if you have someone in your family struggling you know how difficult it is to get them help if they refuse. Police and her probation officer gave us this locations info because they can accept patients if they are involuntary which we desperately needed as she'd get physical, aggressive, and refuse to get help. We brought her in and at first were thrilled they would take care of her, but we thought it was odd as they didn't ask us for any information regarding her behavior and When we tried, the girl stopped us and said they'd ask her these questions inside. They said they'd keep her for 3 days first to get her examined, and said to call if we had any questions. We called, and didn't get through to any one. Spoke to one lady on the phone who was incredibly rude, and hung up on us when we tried to ask for information about her. She told us that everyone in the office was in a meeting and that patients were not to be checked on and they couldn't give us any more information. After a few hours my sister called and said she got discharged because they "deemed her mentally fit and by dangerous". They didn't run proper tests, they don't take care of the patients. They don't care AT ALL. Don't bring the people you care about here. These people will not take care of them. read more

I used to work at this facility. The staff are unprofessional. They at times don't do welfare checks every 30 minutes on the guests and fraudulently sign the books as if they did. They refuse to let their peers get involved with the guests as the staff just sits around. And at night, many of the staff sleep while on duty. The staff are all a click and if you don't fit in, they out you. This company has an extremely high turnover with employees. Very disheartening. They've had many lawsuits against them. read more

This is one of the worst facilities to send yourself or your loved one. My mother and I were referred to this facility by local police and the crisis hotline. My dad which at the time of being admitted had undiagnosed dementia (now 6 months later diagnosed) and he was in danger to himself and to others and we needed to get him the help he needed. I went down in person to sign a petition for my dad and was told by the front desk lady that if he was admitted and evaluated and they saw it was dementia and not so much mental health they would get him the right care and to the right place. It took a few days for a crisis team to even get sent out, we never knew what day or time they were coming. My father is strong and was scared and had to get taken away by four cops (the cops were very nice and knew our situation) after being there for a few hours the doctor calls and says yes it seems like dementia and tried to discharge him after he just fought four police and verbal threats he made against my mother (he was not in his right frame of mind) but he was a danger to himself and others and they still thought it was okay to try to discharge him! We were also told by staff when he would get picked up that he would be sedated to make it less traumatic because we knew it wasn't going to be an easy thing to do, he was not sedated so they lied about that. Total lack of care for everyone involved. We demanded they keep him until we got emergency guardianship for everyone's safety and he stayed there for about 3 weeks. Within that time frame we dealt with so many rude staff members that didn't know how to do their job, hanging up on you, not answering the phones, paperwork we needed for court etc and kept receiving calls that they were going to kick my 65 year old confused father out on the street. No one knew how to do their job. I could barely sleep at night for those 3 weeks he was there knowing how this place is being ran, until we finally got medical guardianship and got him transferred to a REAL quality facility like Valleywise (highly recommend them) Dealing with recovery innovations was a total nightmare on top of what we were already having to go through. There was one amazing front desk staff member named Angel that is a literal angel and was very helpful. But aside from that I would highly recommend NOT going to this facility. read more

If there was an option to leave zero stars I would. A family member of mine was unfortunately taken here. He wore the same dirty hospital gown and underwear for 5 days. He wasn't even given a toothbrush. No family was allowed due to COVID and he never received any of the messages we left with staff. If masks work why can't family visit? Had I known what was going on, I would have shown up with the items he was denied welcome or not. People end up here to better themselves and this crap hole could at least show them human decency by maintaining their personal hygiene. The don't deserve any stars, not an option! I filed a mental health petition on my girlfriend on 10/20/2020 she threatened to kill me once and threatened me with a hammer the other time. She is terrified that people are hurting her and her daughters. He parents name and numbers were on the petition as they and her daughters agree she needs help. I only did this for us and her. They let her out after 2 days and said she was stable. They did not contact anyone on the petition nor did they contact me. Whoever the doctor or counselor or whoever dropped the petition after 2 days without any type of evaluation should have their license revoked and be terminated. My wife came "voluntarily" when her brother called the local PD to do a wellness check on her. The officer told her she could come to this facility and see if they could help with what she was going through. We were under the impression and told she could leave whenever she'd like since it was voluntary. My wife agreed to go hoping it would have resources for her. She arrived at about midnight and was under the impression she would rest for the night and be able to speak to someone in the morning. After completing intake procedures she was taken to a co-ed holding area until she could be seen by a dr. She was not informed she was subject to a 24 hold/was not able to leave until she was seen by a dr. When we asked how long it would be until she can talk to a dr./go home no one could give us a straight answer and answers kept changing. I understand some procedures are necessary, but what my wife and I experienced was traumatizing. There were some great staff members that seem to really care like Daniel, Gilbert, Albert, and the dr., Anita, but the majority were rude, not genuine, and unhelpful. Visiting hours are from 9A-9P. I had a staff member tell me I could only be with my wife for 20-30 mins., but I stayed with her for a good 6 hours after my arrival to try to provide her with the support and care that was nonexistent. I spoke with 3 different staff members and got 3 different answers as to why my wife couldn't leave voluntarily and to when she would be able to speak with a dr. After 21 hours, a combination of uncertainty, anger, stress, and anxiety, we were able to speak to a dr. via telemed and discharged after a 5-10 min. conversation. Avoid at all costs unless you want to deteriorate yourself or a person seeking help more. read more

Was admitted here involuntarily and was treated with disrespect and as if I was a criminal. The staff was unprofessional, they dressed like thugs. Couldn't tell who was admitted and who worked there. The staff sat around most of the time and the psychiatrists were rude and unprofessional. I didn't eat for 2 whole days and they didn't even know or care. The place was filthy and they made you sleep on chairs rather than beds. I was more depressed here than anywhere else. The staff refused to tell me what was going on, then the supervisor told me I needed to hold it together when I was crying because they didn't let my husband back in to see me after he got upset. I would never recommend volunteering/admitting yourself here if you can help it. UPDATE: Apparently the staff will tell you that if you're involuntary, you won't have to pay anything and that the state will cover it all. That's a lie. Have been getting bills, and EOBs of them charging my insurance for the remainder of what the state wouldn't cover. I never gave them my insurance card btw. Also made me sign a form the night I was transported to a hospital by ambulance at almost midnight and just hours before had drugged me up with medication. When they rudely woke me up, I had blurred vision, was dizzy, drowsy, extremely fatigued and had loss of memory (which have to be side effects of their drugs). I didn't remember half of the ride there, where I was, who I was talking to and I probably could have easily been taken advantage of and I wouldn't have either remembered or had no control over, it was that bad. But they nevertheless, forced me to sign that form and my insurance was billed. Lucky for me, I got a compensation check for the emotional pain and suffering I went through or I would have went to court to fight this. read more

I was brought here under the impression I was getting help. I came willingly and calmly. I sat in a recliner for 6 hours waiting for the doctor to be ready to see me. The way staff spoke to the other less coherent patients was nasty and made me sad. Especially since they did not give me the same harsh treatment. When I saw the doctor she was kind yet obviously rushed. She wrote me a prescription and said she sent it to the pharmacy and discharged me. When I went to get the prescription a few hours later, the pharmacy had never gotten it. No big deal. I called with the intention of asking for it to be sent again. No answer. I continued to call every few hours for 3 DAYS. I was told that they'd look into it and give me a call back. NO ONE CALLED BACK. This continued until finally I was forwarded to someone who was to help me. When they picked up the phone they were very obviously not interested in speaking to me. When I described my situation calmly and in response I was told "I don't have time for this right now, can you call back at 10 tomorrow?" The lack of quality of care is astounding. You don't tell your patients, or which are mentally ill, that you don't have time for them. read more

Under the criteria of the seniors crisis hotline I petitioned that my wife be admitted for evaluation. The first night was greeted by staff member that to start our misjudged my looks and thought if me as been a Queer? Well I am straight and heterosexual as it comes despite my years. 48hrs later the cops came in to my residence to retrieve my wife. Asked them that I has withdrawn the petition a hispanic female and a blk. Cop may been the senior he insisted in retrieving my wife and without my consent he tried to get in our marriage quarters which is against her culture. Follow them to the center told them the situation but? Was told to call the next day. Which did only to be denied any information about the status of my wife. Yet all they told me that she was there. Presented the centers supervisor Louis with a POA and he stated was not sufficiently proof althought Maricopas Clerk had sealed abd signed. My wife its Asian a total different culture. Per ger statement she was denied the access to an interoreter until she mabaged to get in the office and called 911 which only than she was provider with an interpreter. I wish 0 stars was possible. I can't attest to any of the positive comments but Any negative review you read about this place believe it. Extremely unprofessional, poor customer service, poorly prepared instructors, disorganized office staff. Horrible, horrible, horrible! You can have your loved one sign a release form so you can try to get as much information as you can to find out what's going on. But not having done any other research, in a panic and not sure where to go, we went to a detox center and was turned away because their beds were full and if our loved one was suffering mental illness and was aggressive they would be transferred to this place anyway. so we came here to petition. They don't give you any information or understanding they just hand you a petition and you have to sit outside and fill it out. And then you have to sit outside and wait for a decision. So you can be waiting outside for hours before anything is to be done. Once they're in (unless they sign a form) you get no information, what goes on in there, how they're being treated, whats to be evaluated, if they're ok, nothing. However, they do allow them to use the phone all day every day unless you ask to have their phone use limited. Staff can be so frustrating. From listening to another who was released the same day we were there it sounds like they have men and women, any age, gender or mental illness in the same space. I called today and was told, Unless my loved one is picked up for further treatment at another hospital (which they need) then they'll be discharged or they might have them re-petitioned. But they won't call you with any information, they told me I would have to call back every day for any new updates. How are you supposed to help your loved ones and how are they supposed to help themselves?! What kind of business are these people running?! It is no wonder mental illness runs rampant and untreated in this country! read more

Seems that many who post their thoughts here are unaware of some of the legalities of such placements. No information can be shared with ANY others, even immediate family, unless the permission to do so (Release of Information) form is signed by the interred. The Staff is rightfully careful about making sure who is allowed any personal and private information. We have personally found that the staff there is professional and skilled, and constantly provide adequate or above care. Often those admitted are not in the best of moods or spirits (and families too), as these scenarios are *almost always* emotionally charged. If anything, I would accuse the State with providing such facilities with far *less than adequate funding* to provide the necessary level of proper care. Those with mental issues and needs deserve better from our State Legislators..... in our opinion. read more

If I could give this place 0 effing stars I would do it in a heartbeat. My ex fiancé's parents and I had him petitioned to get help, they dropped the petition the first day he was there, and they are sending him home 2 days after being there. I called and asked to speak to the dr because I have so much proof as to why he needs to be kept longer as he is a danger to himself and others especially his 8 month olds son. The guy I spoke to was like "oh well there's nothing we can do about it" and had the audacity to laugh?! This place should NOT be open and running. Such BS. read more

The most unprofessional facility I have ever encountered in the healthcare profession!!!Multiple staff members talking loudly and openly in the lobby area about other patients - which is a clear HIPAA violation. We were told visiting hours were from 9-9 during multiple phone calls, however were denied visitation from 6:45-7:30 because of shift change. This is something that should be indicated when individuals call to inquire about hours. The young lady at the desk was rude and did not address people standing right in front of her. She was more concerned about leaving once her shift was completed than acknowledging potential patients or family members standing right in front of her in the lobby. Customer service is extremely poor and it is very concerning considering their mission statement. Hopefully, the individuals seeking care there are not treated in the same manner as what was witnessed in the lobby. read more

Avoid this place at all costs!! Totally unprofessional staff and poorly operated. The nurses/BHT Barb, Rita, Lori are totally unqualified to work in that place. Rude, crude and obnoxious. The admin people are quick to "petition" someone...basically strong-arm someone to sign their paperwork. Its a "come on your own or we'll call the police". The "crisis teams" are in capable of actually listening to all information and make an educated guess. The previous ratings correct about patient placement, over crowding, coed. They place severely mental individuals with those that are at lower risk levels. Security and accountability is poor. Your personal belongings will have items stolen by staff. HIPPA violations are rampant. Avoid calling groups like CBI or Terros, because they will most likely send you to this place. Its better to call your provider and look in the ol' Yellow Pages for help. read more

This place is an outright monstrosity. To its lack of cleanliness, to the staffs inability to properly care for their patients, staying here was a nightmare. The "hot food,"was always cold, the urine that covered the bathroom floors permeated the facility. The staff was rude and treated it's patients with little empathy and care.
