I walked around the whole store, and while it looks nice, the prices are high. For example, Nathan's hot dogs that are usually around $5 at other stores were $9.19 at Publix. That's not in everybody's budget. I wish they had better bargains like Kroger does. All I can say is, I went in once to check it out, thought it might be a regular shopping spot for me, but it's not. I wanted to love it, and I do like it for certain things--maybe if I want a sub, pizza, or some sushi. But for everyday, weekly, or monthly shopping, it's just not for me. On the bright side, the store was very clean, and the employees were friendly (though not super helpful). The customers seemed nice too. At the end of the day, it comes down to preference and price range. I'd say it's worth trying at least once to see if it fits your needs.

I wasn't able to get any ham because of the holidays, but will go back next month. As with most country stores, they sell a bit of everything. She stopped what she was doing to take me to where they were. It was a good distance away. I asked another employee, Jess, for help finding Hard Cider. Same thing. Stopping what she was doing just to help me. Finally, the cashier Amanda, went above and beyond to put rubber bands around my cakes, double bagged the heavier groceries then used a Wegman's Card that would save me money. None of these ladies had to go the extra mile. But they did! Hats off to these ladies. I will be going back again!!

I liked the store as a whole. It is much nicer than other grocery stores I have been in. Almost on the level of Harris Teeter if you will in this area. I guess a tip for shopping here, plan ahead. Especially if you are in town on vacation. She was literally standing there talking to another employee. (There were several people in line for both the express and the regular register. Maybe one of them could have opened a register.) At any rate, the register was making noises and the cashier called her over and she stomped and huffed and puffed over, talked very rudely to the cashier, and then scanned something and the register appeared to start working again. As she walked off, she mumbled things about the cashier. The cashier told the customer in front of me that she was mean. At any rate, the cashier rang up the next customer and then when she went to ring up my groceries, the cash register made noises again and wouldn't work. She called for Brittany again, but Brittany yelled across the store to just log out and back in. The cashier tried that and then said it wouldn't work. Brittany ignored her and turned her back to the register and customers and waited more than 5 minutes to finally come over. By now, there were at least 6 other people in line. I told Brittany that regardless of how she felt about the cashier, it was her job to take care of the customers and that it was ridiculous of her to just ignore the cashier and customers. She started yelling back at me that she was doing the best she could and it was the cashier's fault. I said it may have been the cashier's fault that the register wasn't working properly, but as a supervisor, it was her job to help the customers. She said she was busy and doing her best. She was not busy. There were no customers where she stood with her back to us and she was not on the phone. She was rude, took all of my groceries out of the bag and then started re-ringing them and slamming them around. I had literally never seen anyone treat customers so rudely. The whole line of customers were all just standing there astounded by her and her rudeness. She yelled at the cashier and kept telling her it was her fault until the cashier walked out of the store, for which I can't blame her. This girl needs training on customer service and to be removed from a supervisory position.

The layout of the grocery store is easy to navigate, and the aisles are wide enough to get through. They offer an array of products. I find their deli selection to be pretty expansive. The produce is generally clean, and I hardly see rotten produce. Their meat is cut nicely and they offer a variety of meats. The cost is comparable to other stores. There is often pretty good deals/sales. The staff has been great. They are so kind. The cashiers are amazing, well at least the ones I have come in contact with.
