We went here because it was touted and described as a "supper club"…read more This is not a supper club. It is a restaurant attached to a hotel. There is as a large sports bar with games playing but, that is not why we came here. We made reservations and still had to wait. When we were seated, it was at a high-top in the bar area with a very wobbly table. We asked to move to a regular table which was done "after they cleaned one off. So..... I would expect some bread and butter at the table. When we asked they said they didn't "do that" they did make us some burnt pieces of toast with olive oil. It was gross. What I will say, and what saves this review at 4 stars are the chefs working on an old school wood burning adjustable rack system with an open to see galley and cooking the steaks to absolute perfection.

We got the shrimp skewers and citrus mussels with the curry sauce to die for! We kept slurping up the sauce after the bread was gone! The garlic mayo complemented the shrimp perfectly. We also ordered the forager pizza. With the crispy crust, sweet fennel sausage and the mushrooms - I am in pizza heaven! Hubby ordered a few summer beer and I had the pineapple cider. Both were light and refreshing. Our server provided great recommendations and checked on us frequently throughout our meal. Overall verdict - highly recommend it for causal dining, happy hour or a special meal. Way to support local farms and businesses. Love the outdoor seating which is great in the summer!

We were waiting un-noticed at the host station. The couple before us sat themselves. We waited a bit then sat at a table. No one said "we will be with you"! The bartender proceeded to scold the couple ahead of us. The server/host never said boo to us or the other couple. The bartender was busy talking to regulars. We left when the bartender started scolding. Probably a great place for regular drinkers. If that keeps them afloat they have no worries!

Service was outstanding!…read more I made a dinner reservation when we arrived in town after 5pm, [even though the website says reservations must be made before 5pm] and when we arrived, I was greeted by name. Waitress and bartender were very personable and helped us with our orders. Ambiance was super romantic, White tablecloths and napkins, low lighting and candles. Just the way we like it for dinner. Also, very quiet. Food was spectacular! I had surf and turf - plus the trimmings. Hubby had steak and trimmings. [I don't remember all the details because we went there in summer of 2025 - now it's Spring of 2026]. This was one of the most incredible dining experiences I've ever had - in the world! Not bad. Not great. My waitress was a young girl who was still in high school. She couldn't have been nicer. She talked to me through the menu. Made small talk with me. She was an absolute delight. I doubt I'll ever stop there again since I was only rolling through the area but I'm glad I stopped to see how the Merrillers spend their days. God bless 'em. I think I heard my friend Danzig on the jukebox while I was there. Of course it could have just been some guy at the bar screaming about his mother. We'll never know.
