The Devil's Advocate

After a full day of graduation festivities, my brother and I decided to come here for a night cap and to catch up on life. We both enjoyed two Devil's Advocate cocktails which were reminiscent of a Manhattan. It was surprisingly not very busy for a Saturday night, but we later realized it was because they close at 10 pm - typical for hotel bars. The bartenders were friendly and, because everyone swarmed the bar at last call, Tommy offered us free drinks.

Eve on Adams - Tallahassee, FL While staying at The DoubleTree Hotel in downtown Tallahassee for work, I decided to dine at Eve on Adams, the rooftop restaurant located 17 stories above the city. The views alone are worth a visit, offering a stunning overlook of Tallahassee. For dinner, I had tonight's special of the evening: Crab Stuffed Pacific Salmon with Parmesan Orzo. The salmon was cooked to perfection, and the crab stuffing added a savory twist that was beautifully balanced with a touch of fresh lemon juice. The Parmesan Orzo was the perfect complement, rich and cheesy without overpowering the dish. To top off the meal, I indulged in a Carrot Cheesecake for dessert. It was the perfect sweet note to end the evening, with just the right amount of creaminess and spice. Overall I was very happy with the experience, service was great and the food hit the spot. I'd recommend checking them out for happy hour and dinner if in the Tallahassee area.

We are staying at the Doubletree Hilton in Tallahassee while my daughter is at her orientation. We read about Eve on Adams our first night here and my husband and I decided to go up to the top to check it out. When we got to the special elevator that leads to the restaurant, we were told that they closed early that night. It was only like 830 or so so we were kind of disappointed and ended up just going to the downstairs little bar. We decided to try it again last evening and this time we were able to go up. Walking in, there was a very cool vibe, and there were a decent amount of people there which added to the atmosphere. Our bartender was amazing. She was so helpful in choosing a drink and kept checking on this to see if we were good. We did not get any food, but we both did enjoy our drinks. We went to go outside to see the view, but because there were storms in the area, they closed the off. For our last night here we went upstairs again. This morning time it was not as crowded, but there were still a decent amount of people there. We were greeted by our same bartender, and another one actually served us tonight and my crafted drink was outstanding. We were also able to go outside this evening and it was quite a view. We got there around nine and they were doing last call by 9:15. So we were only able to have one drink. I believe the signs for this place show that it is open later in the evening so I would definitely check before you go. It would've been nice if it would have been open longer so we could've stayed and enjoyed the view but nonetheless it had a little something extra to our evening. Huge space, check it out for the drinks and the views. There were people there ordering meals, but we did not so I can't comment on the food. Everything else from staff to atmosphere was great! We would stay at this hotel again, very lovely in and up itself but more so for the

It was a birthday dinner for my man and it couldn't have been a nicer night. The atmosphere was amazing, that staff very attentive and the meal was delicious. I had smoked duck and he had the fish of the day with crab stuffing. We will definitely go back. Thank you for making our evening special.

Brunch at Eve on Adams 5/5 Stars Drinks and late night food 3 out of 5. Eve on Adams has a beautiful esthetic with indoor and patio seating and 2 bars. This is a great venue for events. Brunch is amazing and they should do it more than once a month. Book a reservation because the patio goes fast. You may be able to do walk in if you get there when they open for indoor seating. While I love the evening ambiance, the bar food isn't good, and the well liquor is terrible. They also don't have good happy hour specials. Really nice bartenders tho! Auto 22% gratuity is added to all checks.

Eve on Adams in THE PLACE to dine for elegance in Tallahassee! The food, the service, the view, the drinks were phenomenal! It was the perfect way to celebrate my daughter's 21st birthday turning 21! Make sure Eve's on Adams is on your Tallahassee bucket list

I've been here twice now, once with family and once with coworkers. The servers are very friendly, and the food is delicious. I haven't ordered anything off of the main dinner menu, but the fried deviled eggs and tuna poke are amazing! The charcuterie board is also very generous and has a variety of goodies, although, you only get a very small piece of brie cheese, and a very small piece of pepper jack. I recommend paying as you go because the bar will put a hold on your card that will not drop for a few days. The hold is not removed when you pay your bill. When the weather is nice, I recommend getting there early, like before 6 o'clock, and grabbing a seat outside. The view is breathtaking for being in the city, and it overlooks the western sky so you can catch an amazing sunset. The inside bar is very pretty and unusual. It is made of onyx (travertine) and is lit up. If you come during happy hour, you will get a better deal on the cocktails because they are $10 instead of upwards of $16. I really liked the Empress Hawaiian. The Tally in Bloom has elderflower liquor in it as well. Their smoked old fashioned is delicious too! The restrooms also have a view! Floor to ceiling windows in both the men's and the women's make it fun to visit the loo. Another reason to get their early is if you want to sit inside and just have cocktails and appetizers, all of the booths are reserved for dinner patrons, and the other indoor seating is a little sparse. The bar has a good number of seats and is great if you don't need to face your guests. The service is a little faster at the bar, too.

Beautiful amazing spot to catch the sunset with some drinks on a late afternoon . Eve on Adams has this calming esthetic, to enjoy something elegant to something more business casual . The drinks were not the greatest even in happy hour , the lack flavor and a bit over priced. The roof top bar it's was makes it 10 out of 10z

I decided to visit this place to celebrate a friend's birthday. It has a nice ambiance and gives a feel like you're not really in Tallahassee. The vibes and drinks were very good. However, the food was just okay. I had the seafood pasta and I just wasn't very impressed. It came out a little lukewarm. There also wasn't much lobster in the dish for it to be priced so high. The bacon bits on top of the pasta were also a bit much. This place is great for drinks but I'm not crazy about their food.

The food was mediocre at best. I don't wanna add too much detail because everything else from the view, to the service, the ambiance and the view was great... that alone would bring me back, but really if you are going there for a delicious meal then you've gone to the wrong place.

With the bad ratings I was curious to find out. But we had a good experience. We found a table outside right before sunset. Service was fast. The cheeseboard is absolutely amazing. The crab cakes were meh. All tables were dirty but that's the only remark to make.

Birthday dinner

My most recent visit here was quite lovely. It was for a dear friend's birthday dinner. Jordan took care of us. The party was large (10-15 people) but she didn't miss a beat. I ordered the Italian Nachos and they were really good. The seafood pasta was also quite good. The prices are a bit high, but there's a great view of the city and the ambiance was really nice. The live music was also a nice touch on a Saturday night. SN: My friend hired a professional photographer to take pictures but that's only allowed for people who rent out the entire restaurant at a minimum cost of $500 for two hours.

**Review: Solid Steak Dinner at The Edison**…read more I had a pleasant dinner at The Edison recently and walked away satisfied, especially with the food. Service was just okay--nothing terrible, but the appetizers definitely took longer than expected to come out. That said, our server was genuinely good: friendly, knowledgeable, and checked on us at the right moments without being overbearing. The appetizers were worth the wait. Both the fried green tomatoes and the crab appetizer were excellent--fresh, flavorful, and nicely executed. For the main course, the steak was spot-on: tender, well-seasoned, and cooked exactly as ordered. The potatoes that came with it were also really good--creamy and tasty without being heavy. We ended the meal with the bread pudding, and it was one of the best parts of the night. It was done perfectly: warm, moist, and full of rich, comforting flavor that didn't feel overly sweet. All in all, The Edison delivers on the food front. If you're after a reliable steak with some standout starters and a strong dessert, it's a solid choice. Ambiance was good, love the historic building. I'll definitely be back for the steak and bread pudding. Recommended!

Stylish spot with quality food and drinks!!!!!!!!…read more The Edison offers a pleasant dining experience with a modern, inviting atmosphere. The food was well-prepared and flavorful, with a menu that balances classic favorites and creative options. Portions were satisfying, and presentation was thoughtful. The space has a lively yet comfortable vibe, making it a great place for both casual meals and social outings. Service was friendly and attentive, though it slowed a little during peak times. Overall, The Edison is a solid choice for good food, drinks, and ambiance. With slightly faster service during busy hours, it could easily earn a full five stars

It's a more expensive restaurant in town, but you get what you pay for- and the some. Excellent quality. This is the type of restaurant that needs to be nationally ranked. I went on a Tuesday night and reservations were required for indoor dining-it was full inside. There were plenty of people at the bar and there is also outdoor dining. We had the BANG BANG SALMON BITES, BREAD SERVICE; and GAMBAS AL AJILLO as starters/appetizers. The salmon bites were very good and original. I think most will enjoy the gambas (shrimp in garlic) at the Monroe, but I'm partial to the Spanish traditional style which is very heavy garlic. My table had the following dishes: SOUS VIDE LAMB CHOPS; JAPANESE SHORT RIB; STEAK DIANE (8oz and the ribeye (larger portion); BLACKENED SNAPPER; and my entree, AMERICAN WAGYU RAGU. I tried the steak (ribeye) and it was very good: medium rare. The 8oz steak at the table was cooked medium and although the person enjoyed it- you need to be clear you want to have the steak medium rare, it makes a huge difference. Lastly, my American Wagyu RAGU was great and very original. It's a comfort meal. I needed to add Parmesan, but it was meat heavy - which I loved. The dessert menu is ridiculous. Someone had the ice cream trio & . I had the Monroe Wonderball, see video and/or picture. It speaks for itself.

Here is where we go for that special occasion. Tonight Carson was our waiter and he has years working here for Drew (Alas absent tonight), Savour's owner. Carson knew the menu cold along with favorite recommendations. Drinks were excellent and they have a great wine list (although the "by the glass" list was pretty short). We elected to split the Wedge salad (trust me it's more than enough for a $3 up charge) and had the Whipped Feta Cheese with Pita to go with the salads. Charcuterie board was not on the menu tonight. Since Christmas is around the corner and a Prime Rib looms, we elected to forgo steaks. Carson described the Scallops and the description matched the dish exactly. Four big scallops with a great sauce mounded on a bed of fresh corn and (sorry I didn't see what else was there). I had the fresh fish (blackened Flounder) in a New Orleans spicy sauce and rice (I'm not doing this justice). Carson advised this was spicy and it was. It was out of this world. A home run by the Chef (please come out some evenings and say hi - and take a bow). Dessert was a Lava cake with ice cream, one of 4 desserts offered tonight. Trust me, if you like gooey chocolate (like having a chocolate soufflé), this was the keeper. Service was impeccable. We missed Drew welcoming his guests but his team has been there a long time and were quick seating us. Carson was everything you could ask for in a waiter. Fully knowledgeable about the food (he started in the kitchen years ago), checked back often, staged the timing perfectly (how rare is that!) and we are sure to ask for him again. A great evening and the rain had stopped by the time we were leaving. Of course we will be back.

A couple of regulars were sat next to us and told us to get the bruschetta oysters, which I'm sure the servers/bartenders will try to sell you on it. But honestly, just listen it's a great dish!
