Always a great place to eat breakfast. The food is always good. They could cook the hash browns a little bit more. But everything else I've ever had here was great. Good selection of food. Staff are always nice and good at their jobs. The atmosphere is nice got that oldtown fill. read more

We're new to the area & hoped to find a spot like this - friendly, down-home atmosphere, good food & true 'local color'. I'm surprised that the overall rating is as low as it is...don't know details of the place's history but can say as a result of 3 recent visits that I'd highly recommend....solid local option! read more

They are friendly, welcoming, and the food is so good. They have options for gluten free which I like. The atmosphere is homey. You are made to feel welcome. read more

What a disaster. My family used to come here all the time. They raved about how amazing it was until the last time they came when it wasn't great. We thought maybe it was a fluke. Let's give it another shot. We ordered western omelette, bacon and egg breakfast and a poached egg breakfast. The western omelette was "tasty" but the bacon, biscuit were cold and the home fries were super thick and not cooked all the way through. Bacon eggs and biscuit with gravy- gravy was water thin, cold and flavorless. The eggs were served broken, bacon and biscuit were cold and the potatoes I didn't touch Poached. Wow. They served the plate without the eggs and said your eggs will be right out, they blew up your eggs. The biscuit was again cold and not worth eating. When the poached hard eggs showed up it felt like a joke. They came in a small gravy bowl with the outside whites barely opaque and runny whites and raw yoke. The mortified look on our faces said enough. Turning them away was the best thing we could do. This doesn't even take in to account that it took over an hour to get our food, the tables were not being cleared and there was a dish cart left in the middle of the dining room. When checking out we made sure to let them know we weren't paying for the poached egg meal. For 2 orange juices, 1 coffee, the omelette meal and the bacon and egg meal it was $32. You CANNOT TELL ME they charge that. We were not charged correctly and just wanted to leave that place as fast as we could. When asking who the cook was, we were told the owner. Also, attempting to call the restaurant, the phones were disconnected and the website was nonexistent. I understand this is a small town, however this was by far the worst breakfast experience I've had in the upstate. read more

First time here, many small but nice variety of choices, came for breakfast ... staff & our waitress very accommodating... ambiance is pleasant and spacious. I ordered a Cheesesteak Omelette and for $0.75 extra added more meat and feel a) reasonable price and b) plentiful amount of meat ... Mushroom/Cheese omelette (friend) and says it was full of flavor and delicious. Dishes served with Grits and toast but if you want hash-browns/home fries also a $0.75 upgrade; also worth it for the amount plated. Highly recommend will be returning. read more

Great family restaurant. The banana nut bread was exceptional. Support local businesses. Local focus.

Service was great but the bathroom, floor, and door in the dining area were disgusting. We sat near a door in the dining area that was covered in dust & grease. Had to go home to change clothes after we left cause we smelled like fried food & cigarettes. The grits were delicious but the country fried steak biscuit wasn't fully cooked & what I did eat of it gave me food poisoning. I've missed 2 days of work & had to go to the dr. Feeling awful since eating here. I won't be returning. read more

I was happy to find a place to eat on a Sunday morning. The waitress was very nice. We had to leave because they ignore the clean air act. Smokers light up and filled the place with cigarette smoke. Very ignorant. I felt sick and angry that even small children were being forced to breath poisonous smoke. Had to leave. Unless you enjoy second hand smoke while you eat, avoid Eva's in Westminster. read more

Breakfast was really good. My children loved it. We will be dining here again in the future. Hash browns was better than huddle house just a little crispy. But still good read more

Eva's Restaurant We have lived in the Upstate of South Carolina, in Seneca, for the last 14 years. We have tried, I think, every family restaurant from Greenville To Westminster. Eva's is about a 17 mile drive one-way for us. We have been traveling to Eva's everyday now for almost two years. Eva's by far is the best family restaurant in the upstate. Eva's this week has gone "smokeless"! Their food is first class and way better than all other restaurant that we have tried. The food menu selection is larger than any other in the area. Our favorites include, eggs - over easy or scrambled, meat - bacon, pork links or patty, corn beef hash, potato - hash browns, home fries or scalloped, toast - white, wheat, rye, raisin, Pancakes - full size or silver-dollar size, French toast. Try the silver-dollars, French toast or waffle with blueberry or strawberry toping and whipped cream. For a very special treat you have to try a waffle with ice cream & blueberry, wow is that good! Owner Christina, and the staff of waitresses are friendly and first-class. The restaurant is clean and plenty of parking. Good value for the money! read more

Always loved this restaurant. FINALLY, they are non smoking. I will be going lots more.

Food was good, service was good but the smokers in the restaurant was absolutely terrible. They only had 5 tables in a side room for nonsmoking but the entire restaurant smelled like cigarette smoke. Would not suggest eating here unless you are a smoker. read more

This place is a staple in Westminster for a reason. The food is absolutely delicious and the prices are fair. Probably the friendliest staff I've ever experienced anywhere. The one and only negative would be the smokey smell, but it's really not that bad. read more

Great place to eat, best Breakfast in town. I think a lot more people would eat there if they would put the smoking section in the back room. Every time I go back I get mine to go. No one likes to walk through a room full of smoke, to get to the table. Put smoking in the back or do away with it. NO SMOKING!!!' read more
