Came here on a Friday night for dinner out of convenience, and it far exceeded our expectations. Our server Andres was so welcoming and attentive and fun. He saw our group and highly recommended the margarita tower, which we loved. The tower was $32. We got the mango flavor. Between the five of us, that totals to a little over $6 per person. The tower itself got us each 3 full glasses per person, which if you do the math, totals a little over $2 per drink. For our food, we loved the chorizo tacos and tacos al pastor the most. Everything else was pretty standard. There is lots of colorful casual decor everywhere, and they had a really lively birthday party across from us. I'd definitely recommend for a celebration or a fun dinner out with friends, especially with that margarita tower!! And we love Andres!!

As I was seating myself she asked what to drink. I'd like a coke in a to go cup please. My drink was delivered in the plastic cup. I didn't say anything. It wasn't a big deal. I ordered 1 beef soft and 1 beef hard. She set my 2 tacos down I noticed they were both hard shell. She set the plate at the corner of my table she'd be back for it once she dropped another tables plates off. She came back and I told her it's fine. I'll take them both hard. I bit into the 2nd taco and it wasn't beef it was chicken. I guess I should've let her take them back to the kitchen to correct the mistake. I had drank all my coke but maybe an inch of coke left. I asked could I now please get a Togo cup. Well she brought me an empty to go cup lol. With me dumping my ice and maybe swallow left of coke. I felt horrible but I didn't leave a tip. It's the same as last visit. That's why we stopped giving them our business. It's like the staff has gotten lazy and doesn't care to listen what you've actually ordered. They had a pretty nice outdoor patio but it was too hot for that. We had a really nice server, young handsome guy. He was very attentive and replenished our chips periodically when they ran low. We stopped by the salsa bar and grabbed a plethora of different kinds. Unfortunately there were a couple that were "bad" or started to ferment. It was not a pleasant way to find out and I didn't want to point it out to the server because it may just be me. My husband did taste it and agree that it was like that but didn't want to make a big deal of it so we just ate the chips. I got carne asada because it was so good last time and hubby got some asada tacos. When my entree came, I noticed the rice looked to be either undercooked or possibly al dente because of the texture, you could see each grain and it wasn't soft and fluffy looking. When I went to take a spoonful it was actually cooked but could tell it was overly saturated in butter. I have never had Mexican style rice cooked this way and it was a bad representation of it. I understand if they want to be more Americanized or cater to a certain demographic but rice is simple and it tastes best made the authentic way, not with a bunch of butter. It was inedible for me and I just worked around the rest. The steak had a good char and had nice flavor, but was a bit dry. The tacos my husband ordered seemed a bit messy, and the meat was in large chunks rather than chopped in smaller pieces like how we've normally had steak tacos. Just didn't seem like there was a lot of effort put into the food made that night and we will most likely go back to the other location instead. Service was good, food and drinks were underwhelming.
