    Chicken Teriyaki Sub

Staff was pleasant and quick with service. The beef barley soup had a good taste, I ate the whole thing on a 90 degree day ha. Really enjoyed my chicken teriyaki sub, fresh ingredients and very tasty.

We stopped in here for a quick lunch based on the reviews left by other customers and it didn't disappoint. We opted for some of their most popular and frequently ordered dishes starting with the coffee, pita, Lentil soup, Baklava, Kabobs, and the Gyro wrap. The service was immediate, we were greeted and acknowledged as soon as we entered and were directed to sit at any table. We didn't wait long at all after our orders were placed. The ambiance is comfy and homey, no fancy interior but clean and welcoming.

    Beef/lamb gyro

my new favorite Greek spot. now I see why it has such high ratings. I got the beef gyro and my friend got the kebab platter. it was perfectly seasoned and in a soft, warm pita. it's also an intimate small owned business which makes it great location to casually hang out. the real star of the show was the Baklava... my goodness. it was the best I had. look at the photos for the visual of the layers and delicacy of this baklava. the service was also fantastic. will be coming back!

    Eggs over easy

After living in the area for 21 years I finally decided to try Evans since I've always heard great things about it. First off it's very tiny with out much parking. We came in during lunchtime but both decided on breakfast. Our server was the owner and was very pleasant. I ordered an omelette and my buddy ordered eggs over easy. . Both were severed promptly and tasted delicious! Since everything was awesome my next step is dinner someday. I look forward to the next time!

Tropical salad, chicken kebab, and chicken noodle soup.

The food was very good. The Greek paella was delicious and the portions huge. The Octopus was a bit tough. So I came here again for lunch last week (5/25), and I ordered the fried calamari the Spanikopita and the grilled octopus with mashed fava. The mashed fava was delicious and has become my new obsession. However, I disappointed with the rest of my lunch. The octopus was tough and one small portion had a bitter taste slightly like vinegar. It could've been that it was charred on the grill And so it tasted a bit bitter. I still ate it trying to find a piece that maybe would have tasted better and tender and then that brought back a recollection of the last time that I was here that my friend and I felt the octopus was a bit tough. Most likely overcooked. The fried calamari did not have flavor. At $21 for the appetizer, I expected better. I have a hard time trying to find good calamari and I think I've been to maybe two places that actually seasoned the breading and the calamari was delicious. Not here. It also was not served with lemon. I've gone between giving them 3 or 4 stars but decided on four since I can't give 3.5. I'm basing my rating on the cleanliness of the place, the space, the service, as the young lady who was my waitress was an absolute doll, and the fava, paella, lamb kebabs and huge portions. Would I go here again, yes, I would, but I will try other dishes. I will not be ordering the calamari here or anywhere else again nor will I be ordering the octopus here again. Note: for lunch, I spent $55.45 for the 3 items, not including tip.

You are able to place your orders on a kiosk but there was a server behind them that provided us with great suggestions on what was good on the menu. I ordered the Build Your Own Pita Wrap with Souvlaki Chicken, Tzatziki, Cucumbers, olives and Feta with a side of Greek Fries. This meal was by far one of my favorites this year. The Pita Wrap was so fresh and delicious. For my dressing I chose the Lemon-Dill Vinaigrette and was blown away. The vinaigrette paired so well with the Pita bread that I could've just eaten the pita and the dressing together. I think it was the olive oil in the vinaigrette *chefs kiss*. Next up, the Greek Fries !!!!! So good. Seasoned to perfection with crumble cheese on top and paired with the Granch, made for the perfect combo. My friend tried the Greek Chopped Cheese but wanted to sub out the Beef and Lamb for chicken and was able to with no problem. He absolutely loved it. I tried his as well and it was honestly better than the chopped cheese's that I've had in the city. The Greek Chicken Chopped Cheese definitely needs to be a new menu item, shoutout to Tahj lol. If you're looking for lunch or dinner in NB you definitely have to stop by this place. It was delicious. Not to mention the owner was so warm and welcoming!!

I got the salmon burger. It was not breaded. The burger fell apart as you were eating it. That's how you know it was good. They didn't use a bunch of egg or breast to glue it together like some places do. The patty was all fish. Does make it a little harder to eat. It wasn't the best choice for a business meeting. It came which fried and I forgot to ask for no salt. However they really didn't taste salty. Seemed like they seasoned it with something else. Something green. It was very chill for lunch. Their seats are super comfortable. Everything is white. I was actually afraid of making a mess. I will be back for dinner.

This restaurant will close soon. The owner is a sick character who doesn't want to hear anything negative about his restaurant. I ended up with a terrible stomach ache after eating uncooked, stale food. When I complained to him about the quality of food, he asked me to go to a hospital. Apparently he can't stand insult and anything against his restaurant. For your health's safety DON'T go there. I've been to several Greek restaurants and this place can easily win the worst restaurant award. The food was horrible. Left very bad after taste. We had ordered calamari for appetizer and cold spread. Calamari was partially cooked and charred for the other part. If you prefer lemonade, they get you a bottled lemon drink that's like a soda. Chicken soup was bland, no salt, no taste of any sort. For main course, swordfish was so hard and terrible to eat, it tasted like a bitter medicine. You can't have more than a bite or two and look at the price that you pay. Even the cold spread, just the bread was soft but the spread were tasteless and awful. Definitely avoid visiting if you don't want to get sick! The dessert was a disaster as well, bitter tasting dessert. Excess of cocoa powder used, hard ice cream that won't melt even after 15 min. When the server asked for feedback, I gave her the frank feedback and she left saying that it was just my taste. For two people, amount was $165 minus drinks. All the emphasis was on the decor!
