I didn't see or hear from him for three weeks, so I called him. He told me he was too busy and he would call when he had time, as of Feb.10, 2026. He didn't call, so I called another door company. They came and adjusted the door. They told me I didn't need a seal, but it cost me $375.00, plus tax, and also, Monty didn't have enough tension on the spring. We purchased a comparable one and called the company to install it. The technician returned and attempted to install the new motor and assembly. He told us that unfortunately the door sensors that came with the new unit were faulty and we'd have to order new ones. He said he had done all the wiring and that we could install the sensors ourselves. We purchased them and when they arrived, we installed them according to the instructions. But even with the new sensors the unit still did not work. We inspected the wiring and discovered that the technician had connected the sensor wires to the wrong location on the motor. He also had mis-aligned the chain connection. We re-aligned the chain and attached the sensor wires to their correct location. The unit worked perfectly. We called the company and requested a refund. The owner said that he would send us a check for the initial visit ($120 which we gave in cash) and $40 for the sensors we purchased. We paid for the actual installation in full. it's been a month and we have received nothing. We would never use this company again.
