He did this at the end of Dec. 2025, and about mid Jan. 2026, he came back to install insulation. I told him about the opening, and I told him I thought the door needed adjustment he said I need a new seal on the outside he gave me a price of $240.00 I agreed he said he would be back next week and do it. I didn't see or hear from him for three weeks, so I called him. He told me he was too busy and he would call when he had time, as of Feb.10, 2026. He didn't call, so I called another door company. They came and adjusted the door. They told me I didn't need a seal, but it cost me $375.00, plus tax, and also, Monty didn't have enough tension on the spring. Because the door would come down when disconnected from the motor.

On installation day, my appointment was set for 11-2. No call, no show. I called them, and at 6:45 PM they finally called back saying they were coming. They showed up, started the job, then left at 8:00 "to get some strut"... and didn't return until 10:20 PM. NOTHING is open that late, so it was obvious they weren't being straight with me. They called it quits at 11 PM and said they'd have to come back. Then came the real nightmare: they no-called/no-showed four (4) more appointments. I wasted multiple days off work for this circus. Mike said he could be over in afternoon. Arrived, said he can replace the spring so I could have use of the door at least by opening and closing manually. Mike arrived on time, and went to work. Mike has been at my house before. Did first installation more than twenty five years ago, and replaced a tension spring 12 years ago.
