Eric showed up that same day, did an initial diagnosis of the problem, and then was able to fix the leak properly, with minimal expense, just two days later. From the start, Bill took the time to explain exactly what he was going to do and how he planned to do it. He carefully taped off the work areas and treated our home as if it were his own. He was efficient, meticulous, and left everything clean when he finished. You can tell he genuinely cares about doing the job the right way and takes pride in his work. On top of that, he's simply a kind, good human being. He even took a few minutes to help me troubleshoot a small electrical issue while he was here! His pricing was very reasonable, and the quality of his work exceeded our expectations. I was so impressed that I've already passed his card along to family members. I would recommend Bill without hesitation.

We had significant water damage throughout our home, and R&M Construction handled the entire…read morerebuild from start to finish. The scope covered walls, ceilings, insulation, electrical, plumbing, AC, flooring installation, carpet, and paint, essentially half of our house. We got five bids for the job, and R&M came in lower than the other four. They did an excellent job on all of it. Ramiro was great to work with. On a job this large, things change and new issues come up along the way, and he was flexible with us every single time. There was also an insurance claim involved, which meant a lot of extra detail and documentation on top of the actual construction work. He gladly provided everything we needed, every time we asked, and never treated it as an inconvenience. That made a genuinely stressful process much easier to manage. Rafa, our project manager, was our day-to-day on site and was outstanding. He was attentive, there consistently, and always responsive when we had questions or added something to the punch list. He never made us feel like we were bothering him and stayed on top of the details all the way through closeout. We were displaced to an Airbnb during the rebuild, which means we trusted this crew in our home while we weren't there. Everyone was friendly, courteous, on time, and cleaned up after themselves. More than one crew member told us they just wanted to make sure it was done the right way, and you could see that in the finished work. They went above and beyond on everything we needed. We'll be using them again for our next project without hesitation. Highly recommend.

The owner of JDR Contracting, Jeff Roche, recently completed a bathroom remodel for me including…read moretotal replacement of the shower and vanity. The work was completed successfully, but I feel compiled to warn prospective JDR clients of two situations. The first is a suggestion you cover in detail the tasks you want them to complete as part of the job. Their bid to me included removing a large, wall-mounted vanity mirror and I assumed they would repair the minor wall damage that ensued. They refused, so I ended up doing it myself. The second, more significant issue I encountered is that my final invoice included sales taxes of nearly $500. According to Arizona statutes and tax guidelines, however, sales taxes are not paid on materials used in basic, MRRA remodeling projects. When I complained to Jeff, he immediately took the charge off with no effort to defend the charge. If you're a future or past client of JRD, check your invoice. If you are/were charged sales taxes on items purchased by your contractor for your MRRA remodeling project, ask for that charge to be removed. The positive news is my new vanity and shower are wonderful. I have no problem with the quality of work or materials completed by JDR.
