She stated she asked him to do something, and he asked why, and she stated they are not allowed to ask why. Why is a question word and not sure how that is rude or disrespectful. My nephew is very outgoing and one day he was to be dropped off and refused to get out the car. At that point, I knew something was not right. The following week he pooped on his self, and they refused to clean him up and sent him home covered in crap. Talk about wrong and disrespectful, you can do this, but he can't ask you why which is a question word. He will not be coming back, and I would not advise anyone to leave their child there. This program is supposed to be Christian based yet are we acting like Christians. Jesus said suffer the little children. Where is the compassion?

My kids attended preschool here and now my son is back for elementary school! I truly cannot say…read moreenough positive things about this school. Overall it has a very upbeat and positive vibe. The kids are given age appropriate levels of autonomy, which has really helped my son thrive. They get the kids outside as often as possible and utilize their great outdoor space, including a wooded area behind the school. One example of this is my son and his class have marked out small squares of land in the woods as part of a science project and they go out there with some frequency to monitor how the land changes over the seasons. I've heard very cool reports home about this. They also just go out there to be kids and to play! The school is doing a really outstanding job of meeting each kid where they are along their social/emotional/academic learning process. For a small school they also have an impressive availability of resources to scaffold the kids where they need help. As my son is currently in 5th grade, I was thrilled to learn they will be having a 6th grade next year (2023-2024 school year) and plan to open a full 6th - 8th middle school the following year! The teachers are top notch - very engaged in designing an individualized educational experience for each child and are highly communicative and supportive with both the parents and kids. They have gotten my son from hating school to telling us about all the cool things he's learning when he gets home. Truly an amazing place!

The teachers are caring with years of teaching experience. The fact that families send all their children to the program and the lack of teacher turnover speaks to the strength of this program. The classrooms do not have the correct number of staff members to children as required by law. The staff yells at the children. The turnover of staff is very high. The teachers are thrown in without training. Children that are difficult to keep up with are put in swings outside and left there until outside time is over. Diapers are not changed consistently. The staff members allow children to watch TV all day. They call children on the spectrum kids that have the "tism". The owner does not take responsibility for the problems and continues to enroll more children even though there is not enough staff. Parents, when considering this place, just don't. I highly recommend kiddie academy, my little one has been with a private sitter since 3 months old…read moreand just turned 4. It took me from the moment I found out I was pregnant to after she was born to search for a sitter high and low, So when we unexpectedly lost our sitter our was devasted and cried for days. To start the search over and finding someone who loves and cares but also teaches your child just wasn't in my plan. I took a few weeks off to interview and search places. KA was 2nd to last on my list. (I never made it to the last one) The initial interview was well. They answer all my questions and concerns and I felt at ease the facility is immaculately clean, especially with Covid I think they go above. I also see the change in my child's learning. I believe they were already at level but I see the excel in the way my little one talks and used certain words They also take concern from parents and work through them. When my LO never really experienced a true pre-school or daycare setting the transition was hard. That they were crying to go every day that I was about to pull my LO out, I let my concern be known and ms Kiran and her staff worked with us and my LO so well. My Lo is now looking forward to going and makes me so happy. Every day it's got a little bit easier which as a parent I can continue my day know they are good hands ..... plus the cameras make it just a little bit easier on me as well My only negative is that we came so late that next school year semester my LO will be starting school and transitioning out

The facility is immaculate (it is truly the nicest daycare I've ever seen) and they take the safety of the children very seriously. The teachers are kind and clearly love each child. My daughter had rarely been around other people due to COVID but she has never once cried at drop off and always walks right into the class with a big smile. As parents, many of us have to keep working. So finding great childcare is more important than ever. I highly recommend KA if you are looking for a safe, clean, professionally staffed place for your child to go to daycare.

I had the pleasure of working here for 4 1/2 years and could honestly say that this place is pretty top notch between the curriculum and activities that they provide. This location is in Hanover County right behind SJMS and Sherwood Apartments. The Goddard school provides child care and after school programs. Summer Camp is always fun here and your kids will learn a lot. They cater to the needs of all children from 6 weeks to 12 years of age. The staff is always friendly and the owners Kathy and Steve DeNunzio will make you feel welcomed along with the wonderful teachers. I love that being an employee here meant being apart of such a great childcare facility and growing along with the school. The first building is for ages 6 weeks to pre-k and the back building (Kabanda) was for kindergarten as well as after school. There are two playgrounds one for the 2's and under and one for the big kids. Yes, it is on the pricey end of things, but quality is always a good thing. Id recommend checking out The Goddard School if you're interested in childcare.

Lack of transparency, follow-through, and support for neurodiverse children…read more After four years with Precious Time, I was shocked by how poorly things ended. My son, who has ADHD, was dismissed suddenly and without prior warning--a decision that violated their own three-step disciplinary policy. What we experienced: Incident reports that were vague, inconsistent, and never properly shared, despite numerous formal requests Missed doses of ADHD medication with no timely communication Ongoing bullying that was brought up multiple times and never addressed A rotating door of teachers, inconsistent structure, and poor classroom management Staff who told my child he would be "sent home" if he couldn't "get it together"--which is especially damaging to a child with behavioral challenges We tried for weeks to resolve this professionally, but the lack of transparency and follow-through from leadership was extremely disappointing. Precious Time may advertise inclusion, but our experience said otherwise. If your child needs support or structure beyond the basics, I strongly recommend looking elsewhere.

No one has yet to show me how to make payments online. As I am over $600 behind. I was not billed in an advance as shown in the contract. No one took my payment to have it automatically taken out. No communicated with me about it until after a month my daughter started. I have child care subsidy and no one notified about how much I owed until after a month. I have shown my concerns to the owner and nothing is being done. So I'm just getting further behind and no one is doing nothing. Legally I have proof that the contract was breached and this can be taken to court. I am not being heard and no one wants to take accountability. I had a whole break down that caused me to step away from my job from the words that was coming from Mrs.Robin. As for the owner of Precious Time Child Development I am asking to be heard and for something to be done. Unfortunately I would have to take this to court if nothing will be done.
