But what I received was completely different. The week of my 7 year old daughter's party, the salon was closed and my emails came back undeliverable. I panicked because I assumed they forgot about the birthday party. I had questions about the hair styling and other activities that was supposed to take place. The theme of the party was Kpop demon hunters and I wanted them to give my daughter a Rumi braid (being that it was a salon, you would think that was an easy ask?). When I finally received a call back, I was never given an answer about the hair. The day of the party, not only were there no extensions (for the birthday girl or anyone else), but the girl doing the hair looked like she's never done hair a day in her life (She even told me she was not a stylist!). She just did a simple braid on my daughter and I was really upset. For some other girls, she put a few curls with a curling iron and did nothing else. I am assuming based on my experience earlier in the week not being able to contact the salon that all the regular stylists were on vacation since the salon was officially closed. Not one of the 3 hosts had any enthusiasm and barely interacted with any of the girls. I had a few parents even say to me that they were very low energy. I think you can imagine how disappointed I was. One of the hosts did simple "face paint" where you could barely recognize what it was she was painting. She also left in the middle of the party - which I thought was very unprofessional. There was also absolutely no structure or flow to the party and everything was free for all. They advertise on the website "Stress-free and all-inclusive celebrations". This party was anything but. I was completely stressed and embarrassed the entire time. My daughter was disappointed about the karaoke. The kids were just grabbing the microphone and making noises. I was very overwhelmed and didn't know what to do. I had to stop the girl from doing hair to play the bingo game that I brought. There was no host-led dancing or other games. The salon had no cake knife or at least something to cut the cake with and the pieces were absolutely butchered. This party was clearly an afterthought and the only nice things about it were what I brought to the salon. It was embarrassing for me as the host and to have other adults notice too. The 3 ladies had no energy and looked like they didn't even want to be there. I would never recommend this place to anyone. I was also ghosted when I tried addressing these issues with the owner.

She is genuine, nice and knows what she is doing. She is an expert and I am so glad I chose Brows for Life. My brows look amazing and she knew what was best for me. If you go there and you are not sure, she will know what looks good and what will suit each individual. I have been wanting to get my eyebrows for over a year and a half and I was nervous. Veronica made me comfortable and relax. Veronica then draws the eyebrows in by pencil to see the style you are going for and then picks out the color and gives you choices. She knew what was best and really does have an eye for these things. TRUST me! It did not hurt at all! It's amazing! I didn't feel anything on the right eyebrow. The left eyebrow to me felt like tweezing or threading. The reason you would feel it on the left side is because our heart is slightly tilted to the left. I forgot to mention that prior to all this a numbing cream was placed on my eyebrows. The whole appointment was a little under 1 hour from start to finish. I love them so so much! Veronica gave me instructions on how to maintain them for the next couple of weeks and not to worry about flaking. Please make sure not to pick at the flaking when this occurs, as it is only less than a week for when you see the flakes. The show must go on. Veronica even had pictures on how your eyebrows will look from day 1 to day 30. The price is very reasonable and Veronica is the best of the best. She is the creme de la mer. I am heading to my second session in a few days and can't wait. The second session does not cost anything as long as you go within the timeframe given. Upon checking with brow specialists , I was told that microblading isn't effective over tattoos. Veronica should have known this or she knew and took me for a ride. Not only was the result unnoticeable but she didn't honor the 6 week touch up session. She just didn't return my repeated calls. So unprofessional. She tried to take my money but, lucky for me, I took action and got my money back. Think twice before you give this one your business. She probably had friends post the good reviews.
