After they serviced his car, there was a problem with the engine revving up, smell of gas fumes and eventually after a few days his car wouldn't start. After a cpl of convos w/Goodyear my grandson was told he would need to pay for another Diagnostic test!? Basically he was out of luck. I believe it was by God's grace that we found Dunson Automotive!! -It's a mobile service so he came to us. -He LISTENED to my grandson and went to work. -He detected the issues from the Goodyear install. Recorded what he found and 'documented' the errors made by the Goodyear installation. Today my grandson and my daughter (his mom) called GY and explained in detail (from Mr Dunson's documentation) of their mistakes. As a result, Goodyear agreed to tow my grandson's car back to the shop and fix it with no additional charges! Mr. Dunson went above and beyond!! He is a professional, compassionate and definitely knows his business! And we are so grateful. Thank you Dunson Automotive! We will be referring all our friends to you!

I have C7 Vette had some Speed Engineering headers and X pipe installed by someone else. The…read moreheaders were making a rattling, knocking noise. After several repairs attempt, no one could resolve the issue. I was referred there by my son friend. So satisfied that I went there. The front clerk receptionist is very friendly and professional. Mr. Desmond was the only one could figure out what was going on with the knocking noise. I am very pleased with the effort he put at hand by reaching out to Speed Engineering and adding his expertise to resolve the problem. Mr. Desmond is very professional and very pleasant. The fact that he will come and get you and take you to your vehicle and show you what is going on, I really like that because the other shop didn't do this. Pretty much explain everything in the process. Finally, after replacing the X pipe and fitting the heat shield with his experience and expertise I no longer hear that rattling knocking noise finally. The whole staff is very friendly and a clean waiting area. Definitely highly recommend this place. The price was very reasonable for the time he spent. Again Thank you to Mr. Desmond and Staff

Was excited for this service for the convenience of having a mechanic come to me to replace my…read morealternator. The first sign of trouble was that Visionary Conceptions was not communicative and rescheduled multiple times. However, the real problem was that when he finally did show up, he installed the alternator incorrectly. After installation, the alternator was seated so that it was touching the water pump drive pulley. This caused my car to overheat, my timing belt to break, and cost me $1,000 more to fix my car. After getting a new mechanic to look at it, I explained to Visionary Conceptions what had happened and he refused to admit he had done anything wrong and refused to give me a refund. However, the new mechanic was able to prove that the alternator was installed wrong by showing there are notches on the pulley where it was getting snagged on the alternator. Edit: the response below is a bold face lie; as nothing about my tensioner was ever mentioned or communicated to me.

I really wanted to give a positive review because the brake pad replacement itself went smoothly,…read morebut unfortunately the experience took a turn afterward. When I went outside after the service, I immediately noticed a lug nut was missing. After looking closer, I saw that the wheel stud itself was broken - which I know for a fact was not damaged prior to the repair. When I contacted the mechanic about it, he did not deny breaking it and asked me to go purchase a new stud and lug nut, which I did right away. He said he would return to install it, but after that point communication became very unreliable. I texted several times with no response. When he finally replied "yes" to confirm he would complete the repair, he still never followed through. Since then, my messages have gone unanswered. On top of that, he told me the broken stud was "no big deal" and that he knows someone who drives around with multiple broken studs - which was extremely concerning to hear from someone responsible for vehicle safety. I don't feel comfortable driving with a broken wheel stud, and the situation has been left unresolved. I wish this could have been a positive review, but based on the lack of accountability, poor communication, and safety concerns, it cannot be.

I tried to work with the owner of the company that I got in the accident with and Alpha and they could would work out the payment arrangement. Big mistake. I visited Alpha for the initial quote which I received. They were going to order the part and let me know when I arrived. I went back about a month later. They looked in the system, said that there was note and he said he would have to call me back. So I left. Another month went by and I did the same thing and left with the same result. My guess and its just that, the owner of the company that cause the accident and Alpha got together and decided not to work with me. I don't know.
