Nope, no way. I don't care how cheap those knock off designer bags are... there's no way I'm going in THERE.
Dank, dimly lit and stacked to brimming with an odd assortment of second hand, off brand and generally strange goods, the Euro Mini Market does little to draw customers in... in fact I was the only non-staffer in the store on my visit. After sifting through a few racks of cheap clothes and browsing the dusty shelves, I was ready to turn tail and jog to Henry street.
Much like "The Burbs", this place gave me the HeebieJeebies with two capital letters.
Hunkered down in the old Tullys Tiles building (a family owned business that sold it's Smithfield stake to those pesky developers, only to expire in the hinterlands of Blanchardstown just three years later), the market looks very much like the retail space that time forgot.
Or maybe it's the developers who forgot it?
