I called Joe Freeman from Clock Repair Solutions and three other companies regarding a grandmother…read moreclock that that I recently took possession of that has been in our family for decades. The clock is not valuable from a monetary perspective, but it has It has great sentimental value to me. It has a history of not running consistently. Without seeing it, one company said it could not be repaired and wanted $1,600 to replace the movement. Another company wanted $750 to repair it without even seeing it. The third company wanted $250 for a preliminary service call and $650 to remove the movement, take it back to the shop and put it on the bench for repairs which would take weeks to complete. Joe offered me two options; $225 for an oil, level, and adjustment on the movement and hammers or $650 to remove the movement and take it back to the shop. I elected to go with the $225 service call and could not be happier with my decision. Joe scheduled an appointment for the same day, kept in contact with me when his ETA had to be changed, and, most importantly, had the clock running in less than two hours. This was six weeks ago, and the clock continues to run and keep great time...something I do not remember it ever doing before. When my other clocks need attention, I will call Clock Repairs Solutions to service them, too. I recommend Joe Freeman wholeheartedly.

They were wonderful and didn't pressure me at all. They even talked me down in size because they felt the stone I nearly went with, was too big and, blocked too much of the few of the stones in the band. When a jeweler talks you into spending less money at their shop, you know that you've found the right jeweler. In the end, they were right and my ring looks absolutely beautiful. I get compliments all the time. They also can repair anything and helped me with a few necklaces and a bracelet.

BEWARE OF 4% PROCESSING FEE! I went in to get some…read morereplacement watch bands. Everything started out fine and the owner showed me a selection that were similar to the ones I needed replaced. He replaced them, as well as the batteries. When it came time to pay, he told me the amount and gave me a hand written invoice showing that same amount. I gave him my credit card, he gave me another receipt from the transaction, and I left. When I got in the car, I noticed that the amount on the receipt was about $4 more than what he told me, so I went back in to find out what happened. He proceeded to flip around a sign that said there is now a 4% processing fee due to inflation and said "Oops I forgot to turn the sign around." I generally like to support small businesses, but this guy is a liar, not to mention his store reeks of cigarette smoke. I will never return to this store again.

I absolutely adored my ring and thought it looked beautiful. ...but it was way too big (not at all Tapper's fault, I thought I was a different size than I am). We took it back today to get resized and the woman was great with measuring my finger to get an accurate ring size. While there, she asked if we wanted the lifetime protection which we opted for. It includes damage, shipping, resizing, etc and because we bought it, our resizing was included. The store is beautiful, clean, and there are lots of goodies everywhere to enjoy while you shop. I also had to use the restroom while there and it smelled bizarrely good and was impeccably clean. Very conveniently located as well, right near eight mile in Novi. This is the second piece of jewelry my husband has bought for me from Tapper's and I'm very impressed!
