This place opens early, which is great. I usually stumble out of the hotel in my pajamas and get over to this place for my morning coffee before tackling the day. They have a lot of drink and breakfast options. Employees are friendly enough. They have an app. If you come here more than once, make sure you download it and get a free drink and earn points towards future purchases. They also have specials that you can take advantage of. Sounds great. So why 3 stars? Well, my order has pretty much always been problematic. I am not really fussy and normally won't return once I`m back at my hotel and find something wrong with my order, but it is sort of a bummer. Twice I have had lattes with no vanilla syrup as ordered and I tried an avocado toast once and the bread was barely toasted, still cold, and overall the meal looked sad. I have sort of gotten used to subpar service and food in Ely, but I really wish that this place would try a bit more. When I`m the only one in the drive thru and it is early, it isn`t too much trouble to make sure my drink is right. The food was exactly as expected, and I can't imagine how breakfast could be much better than this anywhere else in town. It was certainly several levels above any chain hotel buffet of heated up, pre-prepared foods. Tip - when staying for the free breakfast take the option of applying five dollars off of any menu item instead of the free breakfast. It's pretty skimpy. We paid about $25 for a very nice breakfast this way. Give it a try, especially if you're staying in the hotel. There aren't a lot of other options in Ely.
