After coming for over a year, the time has come to give up and go elsewhere. Manicure pricing has gone up so high that I pay $170 after tip; which I could argue to myself if it lasted, but the quality of product has declined and my manicure won't last longer than two weeks anymore. Beyond the issue of value, I rarely get the actual employee that I booked with now- I have strongly disliked my services from one of the employees and won't book with her, but somehow get her EVERY TIME. She filed my nails down until they bled, and then told me the next appointment that my nails are too thin-- well DUH. My last manicure didn't last beyond a week with half the nails cracked or lifted, and after complaining I was invited back to fix it... and at the end of the service told I need to pay $100 because so much was needed to be fixed. After that repair job, 6/10 nails were cracked, lifted, or had fallen off within 10 days. So, beware of Euphoria unless you have a lot of time, money, and patience to invest in your nails. read more

I discovered this studio on Instagram and thought the designs looked great, and I thought maybe it's not that bad and it seemed like it is worth the drive. However, I was proven wrong. This was my first time trying a Russian Manicure, and it was a terrible 3/10 experience. Here is why you should save your money: Rude and Judgemental Service: I have naturally shaky hands. The technician I was paired with was incredibly aggressive and kept repeatedly snapping at me to "relax, relax." Every other salon I have ever been to knows how to handle this professionally, but she just made me feel uncomfortable and I felt sad about it. Wasted Time & Upselling: She spent two hours doing a simple French tip because she claimed six of my nails were "damaged" and needed extra fixing. My family had to sit and wait in the car for two full hours just for a basic set. I have never seen any other nail tech take that long just for basic french tips, it wasn't like I was asking her to do some insanely hard designs. Physical Injury: While finishing up at home, I noticed one of my cuticles was actually bleeding from how aggressive she was with the tools. Outrageous Pricing: When it came time to pay, they charged a ludicrous pricing of 160$. No other reputable salon charges that much money for a simple French tip. It caused a huge, unnecessary argument with my family because the price is an absolute rip off for the low quality of work. I've been coming here for almost a year now after a friend introduced me, and even though the prices are on the higher side, I truly believe you get what you pay for. I've tried other places that were about half the price, and honestly... also about half the quality. My nails here regularly last 4-5 weeks, which is kind of insane. They take incredible care of your nail beds and cuticles, and everything stays looking clean, healthy, and flawless for weeks. Their builder gel is hands down the best I've found--my nails are genuinely strong, but never thick or bulky. They look natural, clean, and polished, not like old-school acrylics or dip powder. The main reason I wanted to update my review is because I had my first not-great experience during my most recent visit. There was some miscommunication with my nail tech about the base color--she used a pink builder gel underneath, which affected the nude shade I wanted on top. I'm not really a pink person, and even though I tried to explain that, there was some confusion (language barrier can occasionally be an issue here). I ended up leaving with nails I wasn't happy with. That said--what really matters is how it was handled. I reached out to the owner, Miko, via Instagram, and she was incredibly kind, responsive, and accommodating. She apologized, invited me back, and offered to either change the color or redo the entire set if needed. We ultimately redid the full set, and I really appreciated how seriously she took my concerns and how smoothly everything was resolved. I've also been seeing Zaya for months now, and she does an absolutely gorgeous job every time--plus she's just the sweetest. Even with that one hiccup, I still highly recommend this place. Euphoria is a great nail salon for a good quality Russian mani + builder gel set- there aren't many around the area. They're currently priced at $120 for a set and designs are additional. Pricey, but great retention. I appreciated the amount of detail with shaping, but I did notice that the apex of the builder gel wasn't shaped correctly on some of my nails. I've been committed to waterless manicures and pedicures for over two years, so when I discovered Euphoria on Instagram, their stories really caught my eye. I booked a pedicure and was pleased to see they had prompt availability. Unfortunately, the experience felt impersonal from the start. I don't recall being greeted... I was simply shown where to sit, handed color swatches, and the service began without much conversation. By the end of the appointment, I was surprised and disappointed to see there had been little to no callus work done, even though I specifically needed it. At a $100 price point, I expected a more thorough treatment that reflected the cost. When I went to pay, I was immediately asked to book my next appointment. Overhang, cuticles were not clean correctly, she forgot to put topcoat on some of the nails , she also left the previous nail polish still there which was red. It looked terrible and for the amount you pay for these manicures they should be flawless. I had to have her correct multiple things along the way as well. Lastly, I selected to have an appointment with Bella based off of Instagram post and reviews that I saw...When I walked in, I told him I had an appointment with her. I didn't find out until the end when they charged try to charge me more because they switched me to bola and she's a top artist. They definitely should not be switching nail technicians if we chose a specific one. read more

I was really excited to try this nail salon which I found on Instagram. I love clean cuticles and the Russian manicure seemed perfect. Unfortunately, I left very disappointed. I resisted I get both my feet and nails done at the same time. Michelle was assigned to my nails. Not friendly at all. I believe she mention that she had been doing nails for about 4 months.. she was actually even working on my nails with the light off.. 30 minutes later someone else took over my nails. She basically started the process from the beginning, removing cuticles. The person who was doing my toes was done ( she was great & friendly) so they moved to the chair.. The person who was then doing my nails seemed to be new too. She made my cuticles bleed about 4 times & it took her forever to get the gel on my nails.. after 2hrs and 10 minutes I finally complaint & I believe they sent the manager. She worked on my nails and evened them out as one hand was longer than the other. I was out of there after a total of 2hrs and 40m... I was very frustrated but tried to be as polite as possible. I left with sore cuticles.. I was also cut a few times and as you can imagine hitting anything with my nails hurt.. They did give me a $50.00 discount with I thought was fair. I do not want to bash the salon. I will say that they use high quality gel for the nails & I truly believe that if you get someone who is experienced you will have a better outcome than I did. However, I do not think it's fair to have ppl who are not yet qualified to do nails, especially cuticles as it can be very sensitive and having a technician practice on someone's hands should not happen especially with a $100.00 price. The person who did my feet was good and friendly. However, the chair was soo uncomfortable. In order for her to do her job, I had to press on the recliner with my legs otherwise, the recliner would pop back up if that makes sense. If they're going to have $100.00 price tags, I think having technicians who are seasoned and friendly would make more sense for the price tag. Again, the gel they use on the nails is high quality. Drove from Martinez to try them out and will definitely be back! I had to come back change my review. After looking at my nails i noticed the top coat wasn't even lathered on properly it's like webbed and not complete. Then 4 days later one of my nails is already cracked off. Everyone I have went to at euphoria is amazing so when I book I select to go with anyone cause you truly cannot go wrong .
