a coffee table and a couch

Overall this place is great! I headed there this morning to do a little work on my memoir. I had an Americano Misto made with heavy cream (33% fat) along with a Keto Fat Bomb. Living a keto lifestyle can be a challenge with local coffee shops but this places fits the bill. Service is excellent and very friendly. I felt very welcomed by the staff and they were able to accommodate my needs. The atmosphere is quiet in the morning but by 10 am the place is bustling and it may be hard to find a seat. A nice touch is the electrical outlets amongst the sitting areas. If you are looking for a really good coffee shop in the NW of Calgary, consider Euphoria. Oh, and there is plenty of parking.

Stopped in for coffee today. The coffee was great. I loved that they have a "kid cappuccino" and even asked if we wanted it at a kid friendly temperature. We didn't get any food but everything looked good. Service was fast and very pleasant. Cost was a little high at just over $19 for 3 drinks but definitely worth it

Hubby and I came here on a breakfast date. It was fairly busy for a Saturday morning but the staff (who were all masked) were friendly and handled the queue efficiently. While we were waiting for our food to arrive, we were admiring some of the art (from local artists) that adorned the walls. I ordered the Grizzly Chai and the Rise & Shine Breakfast Bagel. The Grizzly Chai was served at just the right temperature (hot, but not scalding) and was spiced perfectly. My pan fried sesame bagel with a cheese omelette (made with free range eggs) and house made avocado smash (a tad under seasoned) was an adequately sized breakfast. Hubby ordered an Avocado Smash Sourdough Toast with tomato, feta cheese, and fried egg (which was an extra $2). The Matcha Latte is his favourite!

Updated new space in the new Varsity Condos- very nice and spacious. It has not lost its unique character. It still has its little specialty shop, art for sale, great tea and coffee, and food. Came for brekkie and ordered Avocado Toast and Classic Belgian Waffle- maple and butter. Great food and great coffee! Will come back again.

Turkey panini

This place is so cute and welcoming! Everyone who works here is so friendly and warm. I tried their hot chocolate for the hot chocolate festival and it was so yummy and so creative. I also tried their turkey panini which was warm and so yummy. Comes with a small side of chips which is a nice cute touch. Cannot recommend this place enough, will definitely come back.

This is my favourite local coffee shop. They serve Rosso coffee and have sweet and savoury food options made here as well as supplied from local bakeries. The staff are extremely friendly! This is a good spot with outdoor seating, darker ambiance at the back of the shop, and a seating space indoor with a large window.

This was my first visit to Euphoria Cafe and I will definitely be back. I arrived around 9am and stayed until just after noon. The atmosphere is warm and cozy with an earthy color palette, so I felt right at home getting some work done. The selection in the display case was fantastic! Freshly baked goodies (with some gluten-free options), wraps and sandwiches, pastries, and some very fresh looking baklava...impressive. I enjoyed a couple of drinks and some delicious Umpaqua Oats oatmeal (the "R U Nutz?" variety). What was really stunning was the delicious aroma of their freshly made waffles. That's what really made it feel like working from home (there's always something good baking in my kitchen!). Mornings have a lot of coffee-to-go traffic, and they certainly have a good crowd for lunch as well. I highly recommend this place, regardless of whether you're passing through the Dalhousie area or need a place to park yourself for a few hours.

Great little coffee shop in the Varsity! Not the usual place for a coffee shop being so far from the usual spots such as 17th ave. The interior of Euphoria is very simple and cozy which suits its purpose. The hedge hog was sweet and very different from anything I've tasted in Calgary. Overall, great place for drinks and any occasion. Happy munching! Ordered 1. Hedge hog 2. Red velvet cake

Yum! Creamy gelato and pumpkin spice snuggled together for fall.

Scozzafava’s Deli - Meatball sandwich & Italian combo sandwich

The food experience that is Calgary continues. My brother loves this place so we decided to go here…read moresince it was close by. He says that this might be the best sandwich place in the city. We came to the store to order. and you know the service is top notch. The owner is very friendly and there is a warm ambiance about the place. On to the food, My brother order a chicken parm subs and say his sub was excellent as always. I ended up getting two subs. One was the meatball sub which was exceptional. The meatballs were well seasoned and were larger than my mom made when she was alive. the buns were toasted to perfection crunchy but not burnt. They had just enough sauce and cheese to compliment the sub but not overpower it . i also got a turkey pesto sub which had a lot of meat and cheese. This was very good and if i come back to Calgary i will definitely come back.

Now this is how you make a sandwich! There's such a thrill in finding incredible local eats. I'm…read morenot usually a big sandwich person, but a good foodie friend of mine said they heard the hype about Scozzafava's so I went along. No regrets. If you didn't know about this spot, you might easily pass by without a second glance. Scozzafava's serves up authentic, classic Italian sandwiches that just slap. They use a soft sesame seed bun, which probably is the most unique part of the sandwich. For their marinara sandwiches, I wish they used a thicker bun to better absorb all the sauce. The sesame bun didn't keep its integrity, sadly. The meatball marinara was glorious! Slightly spicy, super moist meatballs, slightly sweet marinara, and perfectly paired with bitterness of the rapini. Don't forget the cheese pull! We also grabbed the classic Italian deli, which was scrumptious and very filling. You can't go wrong with either option, in my opinion.

We were in the shopping around the Market Mall area when we were hungry. Trying to figure out…read morewhere to eat is always struggle so I recommended the food court in the mall. The mall closes at 9PM and it was around 8:15PM when we walked around the food court looking at our options. Note: We were hangry. We walked past bourbon street and had a sample and Michelle was set on getting bourbon but I told her let's keep looking because there were more places. A few steps later, we were in front of a nice looking vendor "CHACHIS" I kinda freaked because I forgot about this place and been wanting to give them a try. I took a look at the sandwiches on the board and had a hard time deciding. In the midst of deciding, I glanced over and there was a sign that showed they sold fiasco gelato ice cream sandwiches *emoji with heart eyes* DROOL! Surprisingly, I didn't get any ice cream but went with the Ham & Brie Sandwich while Michelle went with the Grilled cheese. The grilled cheese was maple smoked cheddar, double cream brie, jalapeno jack, capicollo and fig chutney. She subbed the jalapeno jack for another less spicy sauce. My ham & brie was simple, ham, double cream brie, mustard and mayo. I also went with a small side of mac and cheese. The girl prepared everything quite fast and it was nice and hot to bite. I had a taste of Michelle's grilled cheese and boy was it spicy! I'm a baby and I feel it was too spicy for me and it wasn't THAT spicy. If you like a little heat, definitely go with the grilled cheese, otherwise..meh! My sandwich was simple yet delicious! The bread is toasted so it has a nice crunch as well as a softness. There was a touch too much mayo as it was squishing out but overall it was really tasty. The mac and cheese was really peppery so I put some ketchup on top which made it better. The mac and cheese is creamy and rich so ketchup calms it down a bit. They offer some pepperoni sticks, beef jerky and other meats to take home as well. What caught my eye was the HUGE PICKLES in the jar for $1.50! CHACHI's is a great place to have a quick bite that doesn't taste like food court food. I would say it's a 'higher end' food court food! Next time I will order a pickle and finish off with a fiasco gelato ice cream sandwich!!!! :)

Moderate food at a top price. I purchased the steak and…read morecheese sandwich and it totaled 13$ with no sides. It was over sauced and OVER salty, and at 6 inches in size I definitely felt disappointed. To much money for a sandwich that wants to be made out of good ingredients but just falls short.

Lovely independent spot to grab a homemade breakfast or lunch in Gulf Canada Square. In addition to…read moresome sandwich and salad staples, they have rotating weekly features of different hot dishes and soups. On this visit, I tried the mac and cheese and beef/barley soup. The soup was warm and inviting with real beef. But, the real highlight was the mac and cheese: extra creamy made with real cheddar cheese and topped with buttery homemade croutons. For the portions provided, $10 is more than fair for well-prepared comfort food!

They offer two fresh soups every day which are clearly not canned and made from scratch. They also offer a different special every day of the week that can be supplemented with a salad or a small soup. These specials range from clubhouse sandwiches, to spring roll on vermicelli, to mac n' cheese (scratch made). One of my go-to places for lunches and as a soup connoisseur they are able to beat out most places by providing homemade soups instead of the typical generic Campbell's stuff you find in most delis. One thing I would like is for them to switch up and try their hand at making other soups because I have been here so many times the soups are getting slightly old (but still tastier and better value than Sunterra) TLDR: Soups good, specials can be good, sandwiches fresh, salad available.
