I've been seeing Dr Eures for years. He is an honest great doctor I would say one of the best in the Austin Area.

I had a terrible toothache. I showed up and they worked me in the schedule. Said I did not have any problem with my tooth but gum recession and periodontal disease. Thought I did a good job keeping my teeth healthy, guess not . The Dentist, Dr Acorn was kind. Gentle on my mouth, and thorough in explaining everything. Made an appointment with the periodontist, Dr. Lalvani. He is straight forward, honest and right to the point about the treatment. The office personal are very efficient and basically did above and beyond scheduling and helping me . Glad I came here. Great customer service, easy on your mouth, and thorough in their examinations. I would highly recommend this place!

Posting this so others can make an informed decision…read more At a recent visit, I was told I had four cavities and that I needed a "deep cleaning" (scaling and root planing) due to Gingival infection. These recommendations were presented as medically necessary and somewhat urgent. The plan total? $1014.50 Based on past experience with corporate dental chains, I chose not to proceed and instead went back to my previous independent dentist, whom I trust and had originally found years ago after a similar corporate dental situation elsewhere. That second evaluation was clear and thorough. Findings: * No cavities * No periodontal disease * No need for a deep cleaning * Normal exam and gum measurements The appointment ended with a routine cleaning, scaling, polish, and evaluation. No additional procedures. No treatment plan. Because none were needed. No cavities found. This was not a close or subjective call. The procedures recommended at Great Expressions were simply not supported by the independent exam. I understand dentistry is a business, but it is also healthcare. In large corporate practices, incentives can matter, and in my case, unnecessary procedures were recommended. If you choose to go here, I strongly suggest: * Asking for probing depths and clinical findings before agreeing to a deep cleaning * Requesting clear, itemized explanations for any recommended procedures * Getting a second opinion before proceeding I'm glad I trusted my instincts and verified everything elsewhere. Others may not realize they should.

The estimates, treatment plans and transparency were all over the place at other offices than Westgate Family Dental. My first interaction was with Liz. She is so kind and communicative, but you can tell she is an absolute fighter for solutions for you. She runs the financial role of the business and I could not be more impressed with her professionalism and experience with navigating insurance companies, Care credit, and a patient's priorities. I'm a hairdresser and deal with a wonderful and very affluent clientele. I felt like I looked cheap with messed up teeth. The consultation was incredible. Dr. Christy Tu is a perfectionist. It was such an educational and solution driven experience, that I followed all of her advice. I later found out she went to the USC school of dentistry. A top tier school for general and cosmetic dentistry. I didn't way my implants to look like chiclets. I wanted them to look real and natural. She nailed it. I couldn't be happier with the results! The office is clean and modern, all the hygienist are so nice and thorough (wish I could remember their names). I can't recommend Westgate Family Dental enough!

From my very first appointment, they made me feel right at home -- which, let's be real, is not always easy to do at the dentist! Everyone on the team is incredibly personable, welcoming, and kind. You're not just another patient here -- they actually remember you and make the effort to connect. On top of that, they're super efficient. I never feel like I'm waiting around or being rushed. Everything runs smoothly and professionally, and they're always upfront and clear about treatment options and costs. Whether it's a routine cleaning or something more involved, I always feel like I'm in good hands. If you're looking for a dental office in Austin that combines top-notch care with genuinely good people, this is the place.

After coming to this office for a few years I was up sold on so many things I didn't need, first being a mouth guard I never use (and surprise my teeth are fine though my dentist acted like my teeth were going to fall out without it) and countless fillings. The last year I had with them mid 2024 I believe I was quoted 1,600 dollars worth of work including a crown. I was devastated, but trusted them and scheduled with them. Something in my gut felt off about having another year of so much dental work when i religiously cleaned my teeth so I went for a second opinion. Turns out the second dentist didn't see any work I needed to get done. I was shocked to go from drilling countless spots in my mouth to no work needed. Now it's 01/06/2026 and I just went and got x rays again and told good job no extra work besides cleaning needed today at another dentist. I'm so glad I didn't go to grand oaks for a crown and multiple fillings I didn't need and trusted my gut. It's been years and my teeth are fine contrary to what this office said(they made it sound like my teeth were horrible and needed this work asap) Id never return to such a greedy and predatory dental office that's obviously only looking to make extra money and give you dental work you don't need. Hate to have to write such a horrible review, but I'm still haunted by this experience so I had to share.
