Recently we visited this location and B purchased new lights for his bike. He had planned to take them home to install them, but one of the guys working the counter offered him tools to use there and he was able to put them on his bike before even leaving the store, which was great! We've had personal experience with the staff in parts and clothing/merchandise, and it's all been really good. The only complaint I have about this location is that on a recent visit I saw some staff not wearing masks, particularly a guy who was gift wrapping for someone. And not only was he not wearing a mask, I heard him making jokes about masks and hand washing while I was shopping. Needless to say, I avoided that guy like the plague. (No pun intended.)

One representative was especially patient and kind as I FaceTimed with my son so he could choose the shirt he wanted -- she didn't rush me at all and made the experience smooth and enjoyable. She also took the time to show me the children's section, where they had the cutest little jackets! I picked up a few great items (as listed on my receipt below), and was impressed with their small but thoughtful selection for kids -- something you don't always see in every Harley store. They accept tap-to-pay, which was convenient, and the parking lot is wheelchair accessible, which is a big plus. The only downside came during checkout. When the representative asked if I had a Harley-Davidson account for points, I explained that I was just passing through and didn't. She told me that points could only be earned at that specific store -- which I later learned is not true. Harley-Davidson reward points should apply across locations. So unfortunately, I won't be getting credit for my purchase. Whether it was a misunderstanding or a lack of training, it was a disappointing end to an otherwise great visit. Still, the store had a welcoming vibe, and the staff was kind and attentive. Just be sure to ask about your rewards account if you're hoping to earn points on your purchase!

This review is for the Basic Riding Course offered at Bluegrass Harley Davidson, March 2025…read more Although I do not have firsthand experience of taking this particular class here at the Bluegrass Harley Davison, I did help my SO enroll, gain access to the online portion, and sat through majority of the day-1 classroom portion, observe the day-2 classroom activity, day-2 riding range, and day-3 riding range. On day 1, students are required to have their completion certificate for the online portion, a long sleeve shirt or jacket, long pants or jeans without rips, over the ankle footwear, full fingered gloves, eyewear, and a D.O.T. approved motorcycle helmet (the brochure does specify that the helmet must be full face or 3/4, and indicates that no half helmets are permitted, however, this specific note regarding the half helmet is not included in the email sent to students). There were a few loaner helmets available for those whose helmets were not D.O.T. or training compliant. Both the classroom and range are done at the Bluegrass Harley Davidson facility. The classroom is located on the second floor above the showroom and the riding range is the parking lot to the left as you are looking at the building. During day 1, students are given a tour of the Bluegrass Harley Davidson facility and shown a bike similar to what they will use during the range days. The instructors, Randy & Ed, were friendly once we met them in person. My only qualm is in all the pre-class emails, they stated that if there are any questions prior to the class starting, you could use the email address provided. We did send an email 2 or 3 days prior to the class starting, but no one ever responded. The classes are set up for 12 riders at a time, which is great and gives the students enough interactive time with the instructors. The class uses Jump Start 500 for training bikes [similar to the one pictured, except this shows a 750]. For taller or heavier students, this bike may be a bit small, but they should be able to manage for two days of training. The range day is two full days that goes over a series of riding exercises. First, one instructor is on the bike dempmstrating to the students what needs to be done. The other instructor verbally explains it, and then the students will do the activities themselves. Although there are no designated lunch periods, students are able to stop and eat or use their breaks to eat if they bring food. Water and granola bars were provided. I think the class is worth the $150 value. The online course portion's fee is waived and throughout the training, students get water and granola bars, as stated above. At the end of training, students receive a completion certificate, their MSF safety foundation card, a written test waiver for Kentucky license holders - good for 1 year from the class date, and a Harley Davidson t-shirt. I would highly recommend this training to others.

Parts wasn't available, parts manager wasn't available, service manager wasn't available, general manager wasn't available...all day long. This is not a dealership to go to for parts or service on a cross country trip. I wasted a day just trying to reach them when o could have ordered a part online and selected expedited delivery. Just order your parts online, don't use this business.

There was a fuel pump recall on my 2020 Honda Pioneer 700 side by side so I took it to Dan Power…read morefor the service since they were local. After dropping it off on November 19th for what was supposed to be a 2-3 hour fix they called and said they had broke a plastic body piece in the process and should have a new one in within a week. Fast forward a few weeks and still no repair so I decided to go pick up my side by side and wait for the part. After 3 in person visits and about 6 phone calls over the course of about 7 weeks I still didn't have a replacement piece so I decided to visit in person again on January 10th and ask for a refund for the part so I could just buy one online. Turns out, at some point during that 7 weeks they had received the piece and just never called me to let me know it was in. Frustrated by the severe lack of communication I left, thankful to at least have the part in hand although I was now responsible for repairing my Honda that they broke myself. Here is where the really bad part comes in to play. While installing the new body piece I notice that 2 nuts for the roll cage were removed to aid in the removal of the cowling and reinstalled super loose to the point that they are about to fall off, 2 big wires were left disconnected and just folded over laying next to the engine, and 2 bolts (1 short and 1 long) were swapped and installed in the wrong holes. Basically my $12,000 ATV was worked on by someone who didn't care about safety or proper operation. These people are supposed to be trained mechanics. It was obvious by this point that wasn't the case. Over the years I have spent thousands of dollars at Dan Powers because I believe in buying locally whenever you can. I purchased a Honda Foreman ATV from them, a top and windshield for my Pioneer, etc. That said, I don't plan on even buying a quart of oil from them in the future. I highly recommend you shop elsewhere and definitely don't have your stuff serviced here, unless you want to be fixing their mistakes yourself a few weeks later.

We got such a good deal I got the fork lift attachment as well....then 6 months later I got the hankering for smoked Brisket.....came back and bought the big....big green egg.....these guys just do it right. From service on the tractor to sales of charcoal for the smoker. Friendly, knowledgeable, first rate service always.....getting ready to buy a post hole digger for the Kabota to make life easier! I have repeatedly reached out to All Terrain Power Sports by text/calls regarding issues with a…read more2011 Polaris Ranger I purchased from them on December 20th 2018. 2 Days after I paid cash for the machine on December 22nd the driver side fuel injector went bad and I called the owner. He would not answer my calls but had a tech call me to figure out the problem and after a few texts back and forth we settled on me picking a new fuel injector up which I did, and installing it myself, which I did, based on the owners word he would reimburse me ($105.99). Their web site advertises they have a 90-day warranty. Right now, it is going on 7 weeks with no reimbursement and continual promises the check is in the mail. But really the most pressing issue is the title to the machine. I still have not received that. I'm told one fault of mine is I trust people and work mostly off of handshakes. When I paid them cash for the machine the owner assured me he would have the title to me in a week or so because he had to file for a lost title. I have become increasingly concerned with their lack of attention to these 2 matters. I still after 7 weeks don't have a firm date when I can expect to receive the title and I have given up on the reimbursement promised and any 90-day warranty.
